They returned the following day with the estimate which included removing the downed limbs and clean up which they were able to accomplish with a crew of 6 men that afternoon and the following morning for the price we had agreed on plus some additional trimming of low canopy of several trees that were potential issues for my 200 year old home and vehicles. The owner and supervisor remained on the premises until the job was completed and their employees were professional and polite. I highly recommend them (BTW- they also cleaned my gutters).

They are not landscapers, they are handy men that help you do yard work…read more I hired them to help me with my front yard. I made it clear that I am on tight budget. I asked them to tell me when is the best time to do this work. They told me whenever I want. There was heavy rain the day they did the work. When they were done I saw a drain sticking up from the dirt, open with no cover. I asked them what is that. They told me I have to buy a cover for it. Fast forward two months later, there are weeds and grass coming through the mulch everywhere. The dirt near the drain is sinking. My neighbors told me I should have hired a landscaper who knew they needed to extend the drain to the curb.

I was amazed by the efficiency and care taken so that none of the fallen tree branches ever came close to hitting the house! In addition to removing the Elm, there were small Cedars that were removed, along with pruning limbs from other trees. They did a remarkable job!! The price was very reasonable too. Vladimir said before they did the work they would leave the yard just as they found it. That is exactly what was done!! They used a blower to remove all sawdust and raked away the small twigs, focusing on not disturbing the Kentucky Blue Grass lawn. I am very pleased!! This was a "5 Star, Plus" job well done!!

WORST. EXPERIENCE…read more I didn't want to have to leave this review, but after the owners promised to make it right and then never made good on their promise, I can't stress enough how horrible our experience was with Moore and Smith. They were by a mile the highest quote, and we don't mind paying top dollar for good service, but this was nothing short of disappointing. The company came highly recommended, however they repeatedly dropped the ball on our rental when we needed to have trees removed. They presented a waiver to our tenants stating it was "to cover the property under insurance should anything happen". This was in fact a waiver in case the lawn and or driveway got torn up. I, as the owner of the property was NEVER presented this document, or I would have certainly requested to move the service to another day when the ground was more firm. Lo and behold, the lawn is a demolition derby, the driveway is damaged, and the tenants were picking up trash and debris for days. Not what I would expect for an $8000 service. When I called to get to the root of the problem and express my frustration, I spoke with Megan, who is equally as classless as she is condescending... not sure what swamp they dug her out of, but I've never been spoken to by a more repugnant person. Any company that would have THAT as their customer service person clearly doesn't give a shit about customer service... The owners called me back to apologize for how she spoke to me, which showed class, and promised to return to our rental, smooth out the tracks from the damage, and to reseed the lawn. He also promised to come to our property for free for a service should we need help. They never made good on either promise, and calls to the owner have been unreturned and texts left on read. Needless to say we are disappointed and will never be hiring them again.

We spoke with several companies, and selected Quality Tree Surgery because they were knowledgeable, had a competitive price, and had good reviews from our neighbors. They did excellent work. When we spoke with them during the job, they listened to what we wanted, explained what they were doing, and why they were doing it. They were very nice, cleaned up very well, were respectful of our neighbors' yards, and did the work in less time than they anticipated. Since then, we have used Quality Tree Surgery to aerate and overseed our yard, and to control aphids on a nearby hackberry (both are annual jobs). When we need to hire anyone to do work to our trees or yard going forward, I won't even bother getting other companies to quote the work. We just go straight to Quality Tree Surgery. They are honest, reliable, do good work, offer reasonable pricing, and every employee we have dealt with has been knowledgeable and pleasant.

I would expect any reputable company to schedule this or at a minimum communicate to the customer, which would remove any risk on both ends. Instead, they let my dogs out. Additionally, Robyn, who answers the phones, finds this to be a totally normal procedure and pushed back that they did not need to give me any notification. Unreliable and unprofessional…read more We just bought a house in East Nashville. Christopher Price came out and looked at our five trees - one of which is laying on an electrical wire, so time is of the essence. We made a plan to eliminate the danger, plus do a full day of trimming and nutrient injections. He seemed to really care about our trees and we were excited to work with him, even though the scope and the quote were beyond what we had initially planned on spending. What followed was three weeks of unfulfilled promises, excuses, and constant prodding on our part to get communication. We're relatively easygoing, but he committed to doing work for us, and then wouldn't send us a contract or set a date so it was super frustrating. As another reviewer said - if you don't have time for us or don't want to work with us, just let us know that so we don't waste our time.
