We stayed here for one night on July 9th 2025. The door to the room had a large gap from the door frame so you could hear everything outside. The towels and wash rags were tired. The shower curtain was torn and the soap dispensers were empty. I would not recommend even though it was extremely inexpensive. read more

This place has some bad reviews. I'd check for bedbugs no problem. Everything looked really clean and clearly had been repaired. Revamped. Parking lot wasn't as well as I would've preferred. I will not take my wife here but she's a little high maintenance. Great find. Newly remodeled and updated. Nothing fancy, but all the right stuff. Plenty of outlets, usb ports and lighting. Clean and comfortable. The lady who checked us in was not exactly friendly, but she answered our questions. Breakfast from 6-9, waffles, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal, juice and coffee. Chinese-owned hotel chain. If it matters. I chose this hotel with the La Quinta across the street was full. The guy who answered that phone was really rude, so I tried a new hotel. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming. Pro side: The staff was nice on both shifts. Con side: The hotel is along a noisy highway, and the AC/Heat unit either ran consistently on "Air" with no heat, or shut on and off on Heat. So every time it shut off, it was loud outside. They claimed to have just remodeled the place, but tile grout was missing in the shower. The toilet lid was designed so you could hardly open it. They had slopped a bunch of caulk along the side of the tub. Just cheesy looking. The bedside lampshade was cracked and damaged, and the switch was up under the lamp (not a commercial hotel lamp) that was difficult to reach without getting out of bed. It did not have the normal commercial lamp switch on the base, nor did it have connections for phone/computer chargers. The breakfast was all cold food, except for Pop Tarts, which they kept in the back. No eggs or anything protein. The coffee was dreadful. A light over the hair dryer wouldn't shut off, and reflected in the mirror and into the bedroom. read more

Pet Hair & Dingleberry Inn is what it should be called. Upon entering the non smoking motel room, we were greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke and animal. We were tired and had unloaded our belongings, so we stayed in the room after notifying the management the odors didn't come from us, so we would not be charged. Upon closer inspection, I noticed pet hair all over my socks. I also found a significant amount on the duvet cover. We had not placed anything it from the floor. There were also crumbs all over the floor and what appeared to be a dingleberry. It sounded like the people on the floor above us were going to come through the ceiling anytime they walked in their room. And the sheets felt like some sort of plastic fabric blend. The shower's water never got warm, so we washed off the pet hair and cigarette smell with a cold shower. Ladies, if you don't want to smell like your grandfather's aftershave, bring your own body wash to wash off the pet hair in the cold shower. As you can imagine, this all made for a lovely, restful stay. Spend the extra money and stay at the new La Quinta up the road a block or so. read more

Yes, this is an inexpensive hotel. But that doesn't excuse the fact that our room was not clean. Things had spilled in the frig and had not been wiped clean, and the same with the microwave. We also checked in and found that we didn't have enough towels for the number of guests, and there was no hand soap by the sink, only in the shower, and the shower had no conditioner. I had to keep going back to the front desk to request things that should have been there in the first place, and I cleaned the frig and microwave myself. I definitely wouldn't stay here again. There were plenty of other options in Holbrook and I wish we had booked one of them. read more

I was surprised by the quality of the room for the price. I'm a big fan of wood laminate floors, and also shower curtain rods that curve out to give extra room; these small details add up. I also love the way they use two flat sheets with a blanket between instead of a comforter, so much cleaner! Good size fridge and small microwave are super convenient. Big tv with lots of channels. There was a little confusion with my reservation when I arrived, so just make sure to get a confirmation email. It all worked out without issue. read more

This hotel just finished a complete renovation. I booked through a travel site. I wanted to leave them a good review because I was very impressed with the property but more so the front desk person. The name is different is the Greentree now but this is the address. I think the old reviews were from before. The room was clean and everything was new. I would stay here again. read more

I must have dealt with different Diane than the other reviews mention here as I had a very different experience. I booked a room last minute and arrived at 1am (making sure they are "pet friendly"). When I mentioned my pet, she advised that they had no pet rooms left available. Weird, but ok - things happen. She then proceeded to accuse me of "booking it wrong"... Weird, but whatever. So I called the company I booked the room through to see what I should do at that point. It took a few minutes to find their phone number and get through to the rep all while Diane was talking trash about their owners or manager that didn't invite her to a picnic or something (gee, I wonder why). I more or less tried to ignore the trash talk as I was struggling to find the phone number while being half asleep at that point. They put me on hold and called Diane. Standing in right there in front, her attitude flipped on the spot - she proceeded to tell them that I booked the wrong room AND that I was getting mad at her when she was telling me so. She then also started telling me that she was cancelling my reservation while telling them on the phone that they should cancel my reservation on their end (spoiler alert - two days later it still hasn't been cancelled or refunded by anyone). Once they got back on the phone with me, she wouldn't even let me finish the call before telling me (very combatively) to get out because she needed to close (so much for 24-7 reception). What an utterly bizarre experience. Being that it was in the middle of the night, maybe it was just a bad dream? The remaining charge on my credit card states otherwise thou. read more

A cheap place to rest, easy to find with some space for dog walking. The water wouldn't get warm all evening, not in a "this is broken" way, just a "out of hot water wait an hour" way. Super lame. Bed was fine & room was mostly clean. Our dog found a dead lizard in our room but it wasn't visible to the human eye, so we won't knock 'em for that. Not enough towels at all in the room, like a towel for each guest and that's it, linens hard like rocks but the hand soap was nice. We couldn't shower due to no hot water. Safe, bed bug free, but wouldn't recommend to a friend. read more

Very clean. Bedding was nicer, cleaner, and higher thread count than most holiday Inn, Best Western, and LA quinta. Loved the tile/pergola style floors. Carpet in other hotels are usually dirty, stained, and have a weird stench. Bathrooms were very clean and water pressure and hot water was great. The only concern was the cracks in the concrete walkway on second level. I will definitely stay again if I travel through that area again read more

We stayed for only one night to visit Petrified Forest National Park. In that time, the AC did not work properly overnight, I was woken up by housekeeping knocking at 8:53 am, and worst of all got bitten by bedbugs. We reported the issue to their staff the next day and no one has followed up with us in over 48 hours after being told the manager would call us back 'if they wanted to'; they also have not responded to an email with pictures of the bites. This property was also incredibly loud from road noise and additionally you can hear every conversation from the rooms next to you or the walkway. read more

We paid to have the suite and it's a pet friendly hotel. We even paid more for the suite and OUR SERVICE dog (under 25lbs) was denied for whatever reason the manager had and they had no other rooms so we had to leave. Will peruse law action in the morning. Illegal doing! read more

So I checked in and had zero difficulties with the rooms which were for the most part clean, neat and as Elaina stated they would be. Extremely pleased with this hotel!! Was a bit leery due to mixed reviews but our stay was exceptional from beginning to end. Desk Clerk: both were friendly, helpful, competent, receptive, accommodating Property: convenient location, well maintained, abundant parking, next to fine and convenient little dinner Room: freshly remodeled, clean, tidy, nice faux wood floors, big screen TV, free WiFi, well appointed with all essentials (fresh towels, usb outlets, clean linens, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc.) Breakfast: unfortunately did not make it to breakfast Had a quiet one night stay on our way to Petrified Forest. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend to friends and family. Perfectly pleased considering the price point. Added bonus, if you miss the free breakfast served til 9am or prefer bigger cooked meal, the dinner next door is a perfect option! Terrible. Do NOT stay here. Our bed linens were disgusting when we checked in. See attached photos. Most pillows were missing cases. I went to the front desk and showed them the pictures of the soiled, obviously slept in bed. The employee said the manager would have to get back to me. I just wanted them to change the linens but was told they aren't allowed to go in the guest rooms after we've checked in. I hardly slept that night because I was so uncomfortable and disgusted. The next morning I reiterated our frustration, our desire to get a refund or credit and again was told the manager wasn't available but would call within 24 hours. We never heard back so I called several more times during the following week. Either no one answered or I was told the manager would call back. Still no response. They clearly don't care what their guests experience. read more

I took a leap of faith on this place after reading the other positive reviews, and it paid off! I was just passing through here, far from home and unfamiliar with the area. This place has friendly employees and plenty of convenient parking. My room was clean, attractive, well-stocked, and quiet - and everything in it worked! My car, which was packed with pretty much everything I own, was undisturbed in the morning. You really can't beat this place for the price. :D read more

It is 4am. Our room feels like a sauna. It is over 85 degrees. The tiny air unit reflects 61 degrees and will blow cool air for about 10 minutes. It shuts off and if we try to sleep it stays off. I went to ask for help. The female up front was sleeping on a chair and didn't know what to tell me just said I'd have to wait until after 8. We've opened our door several times just to let cool air in long enough to get fresh air. This is miserable. I cannot imagine if it were mid summer. Just got up to reset while I typed because it shut off again. Sleeping naked doesn't work. The room is decent but this just blows it all together. read more

They HAD a room available but they wanted $60 more than the reservation confirmation that we had. Total rip off. I stayed 3.5.22 omg I was pleasantly pleased with the motel. Recently renovated. The rooms were clean. New beds, microwave, fridge. New flat screen TV I'd guess 43". New curtains and shower curtain. They have the body wash and shampoo and conditioner dispenser in the shower. All in all for the money it's the best motel and for the money. I've been staying in motels since mid september so I've seen enough to know how bad it can be. The restaurant next door has great food also. I'm excited to be able to finally get to write a positive review. read more

First of all - BEAUTIFUL ROOM. Clean and modern! I read wonderful reviews through bookings sites and wanted to try a more mom and pop place rather than a big franchise hotel. Offered a great deal and we jumped on it. Great staff.. one member took our laundry from the dryer and folded it for us! Offered good coffee and a simple breakfast which was given to us with a smile. I'd like to start out by saying the staff was really nice, especially the lady working the desk at night. Unfortunately the room itself was deep into the "needs improvement" category. To her credit, when we were checked in the desk agent told us if we had any problems with the room we could come back and she would do what she could to accomodate us, but I had the feeling that all of the rooms were probably similiar to this one. The room had a working shower and toilet, and clean sheets. Basically everything else was problematic. About everything that could be stained was stained, other than the sheets. Chairs were really gross, markings on ways, dead moth on the floor next to possibly cigarette burns, exposed electrical, lack of functioning electrical outlets, torn carpet, and some of the lights didn t work. The only outlet that seemed to work was the one the tv was plugged into. Which isn't great when guests have a lot of devices to charge. One of the mattresses was falling into the floor underneath, which gave me a quick fright because I was worried something very fuzzy and large had crawled in there to die. It would've been nice to have more than one hand towel for 2 guests. I might've been madder about the room but again the staff was nice and professipnal at least. Additionally we opted to pay extra for the breakfast. Arriving an hour and a half after it opened there wasn't much left but I can't vouche that there was any variety to begin with. The food that was available was all edible, no qualms with quality of it there was just only cheerios, frosted flakes, white bread, instant oatmeal, or a white bagel. There was coffee and a nice staffer brought us some type of orange drink after asking, but that was the entirety of the options we saw. If all you need are clean sheets and a shower at a cheap price than this place is acceptable. read more

Checked in and went to bed, woke to find hair all over the bathroom, dirty towels, only hot water in sink and lukewarm shower. I went to front desk and was informed that "I should have asked to check the room" prior to checking in. A few basic things like working plumbing and clean towels without hairs stuck to them, and a clean room should not be too much to ask. This was the dirtiest hotel room I have ever checked into, I would have rather slept on the side of the road. read more
