Great location for wine tastings. We went on a Sunday afternoon during brunch hours and they had a…read moreDJ playing some nice tunes to set the vibes. It's pretty much self serve so you don't need anyone leading you. They give you a card that you can use to either get a small tasting, a short pour or a long pour. All of the options are less than half the glass. They have a variety or reds, whites, and some other options I'd never heard of before. Since there's so many options, It's almost like playing Russian roulette, where you don't necessarily know if you'll like the option you select, which is why you can do a small taste before doing a shout or long pour. The only thing that stood out to me that I wasn't a fan of was that there was a bottle of 19 crimes that retails for roughly $10 and they had it there and you could get a long pour for I think $5. That didn't make sense for me to get it. Other than that it was a nice experience and great for dat nights and groups.

Although it is a wine tasting room, they do have a full bar as well. I had a homemade Bloody Mary which was probably the best I have ever had! With the wine tasting, you open a tab, are given a card and the wine is sold by the ounce. Service was also great. Show this small business some love!

After filling up with an excellent complimentary meal we strolled over to this cool little place…read morethat way over to the right of the upper level on the opposite side of Original Oyster House. The name is cool and the sign boasting tropical wines lured us in. I specifically wanted to see if I could find an extraordinary wine that I found last year, somewhere in Mississippi. It was very inexpensive and I recall being intrigued by it at a roadside shop but can't remember where exactly. It was a coconut wine, I know it sounded weird to me too, however it was a delightful light & sweet wine that was super tasty and I want to find it. Sure enough this fun shop has lots of tropical wines, pineapple, mango, orange, apple, peach, pina colada, kiwi and even grapefruit but alas there was no coconut. The gentleman came over and offered to give us some help with his explaination of some of the various vineyards and specifics. Indeed Joe was our tour guide and provided some excellent choices of wine and had quite a few for tasting. While we were browsing we saw a big selection of Purple Toas wines which is a very nice Winery in Paducah, KY that's near our our old sailing home where we raced out sailboats. We did tastings there and really enjoy several of their wines, my favorite is the Black and Bruised and yes Joe's got some and we got some of that to bring home. I also spotted a nice selection of Biltmore wines from another one if my fave wineries in Asheville, NC.i asked for their riesling and yes they have it, so some of that to go. Next it was time to try something new so Joe asked of I like peach, to which I replied "does a bear ...." well I do live me some peach. He faces me a taste of an ice cold peach wine that knocked my socks off, so yes that was out next selection. We tried a couple others before Joe recommended an apple wine that is fermented in old bourbon casks. It was very poignant and reminded me of my sweetheart's favorite single malt scotches soooooo I had to get some of that for her. It's like a fine sipping wine for her, like a nice winter wine is for me :-) They have some other cool stuff in the store like frozen pina coladas made with wine a d sime fun gifts items as well. We racked up some nice selections of favorites and several new ones and now our wine fridge is all filled up. Bottom line: Joe is a very friendly, knowledgeable and fun guy to help you find just the right fun wine for you. I haven't seen this particular variety of fruity wines anywhere else in the area and recommend checking this place out. They do have traditional whites, reds, blancs and blends but the stars are the fruits.

I loved the Watermelon, key lime, sangria, and blackberry wines AND they come in little pouches so you can take them to the beach!! Capri suns for adults!!! Take all my money now!

Everything we tried was so good - the Shakarato coffee is our favorite - their mango smoothie is absolutely delicious (pro tip one of the gals there makes a good mango with a touch of greens), their protein smoothies are great - their açaí bowls are good as well. The service is awesome, all of them are really chill and the spot itself is really cozy and cute. They offer wine and other frozen bevies and other food as well so it's a good spot all around. The only unfortunate criticism is their decaf beans taste very poor quality and there is no public restroom so you won't be hanging out there for hours like your typical cafe spot. They have lines sometimes in the morning before they open so be prepared for a bit of a wait depending on when you go!

The "illustrious" manager of Salty Bottle sends her Instacart over there each morning to commandeer basically their entire stock. So, for any of you wondering why you can't buy grassfed, whole milk at Publix, look no further for your answer. Mystery solved. Salty, how about putting in a special order with Publix or a dairy distributor, so the rest of us can have some milk in the mornings. Thanks!

Aside from the well lit patios, to the docks you can hang on over the water to enjoy the outdoor space, and the lively music, along with awesome staff, I don't think there is anything you can complain about coming here. From what I noticed, it seems as though this is a good local hang, lots of people appeared to know the staff and vice versa, making for a lively bunch. They got a great store of pretty much everything you can think of, wine (duh), food, clothing, accessories and more. My friends opted in for a wine tasting, which was extremely entertaining. I wasn't in the mood for wine, so I didn't do the tasting itself, but hung out in the corner while my friends enjoyed. I also found a beer outside, so was still able to toast them! There are lots and lots of options for wine to choose from, and they had this delicious cream cheese dip made with some preserves. I snatched a bottle of that to bring home and make meself. We had such a great time here. You can also feed the turtles that are in the pond as well, there were some pretty large ones out there!

Especially if you're a light weight drinker. Now, the wine. Very nice selection of dry, sweet, reds, whites and blends. And some beer to sample, too. So, something for everyone! And you have to try some fudge!! Oh man!! Not super sugary like some. Almost like a flourless tort. Yummy stuff. We visited on a rainy weekday afternoon and sat out on the spacious covered patio and listened to some live music. All in all, a really nice afternoon, wine, music, fudge. I mean, for a rainy Friday afternoon , it was a great break!!
