Cynthia is amazing. I had s pinched nerve in my neck and physical therapy was not helping very much. Cynthia was highly recommended. At that point I was in so much pain I would try anything. I can't say enough about Cynthia. I have had some serious back issues for 8 years from a football injury. I am only 24 years old and when the pain kicks in, I can hardly walk. I have gone to a chiropractor since the injury but am tired of having the same exact "adjustment" done every couple of months with only a very temporary solution. My doctors continue to just prescribe pain killers and say I'm young and it won't be here forever. It's only been 8 years, right? As you can imagine, this is very scary. I began to FINALLY look at alternative medicine. The afternoon I walked into Green Tea, Cynthia was literally on her wait out for lunch. I was in SO much pain, I was desperate for help. She immediately recognized how serious it was and sacrificed most of her lunch that day to listen to my story and see how she could help. She accepted my insurance and had me in for an appointment the SAME DAY! After the acupuncture, my pain went from a 10 to an 8. We scheduled for a second appointment the day after next. Afterwards, my pain went down to a 6. By my third appointment, I was pain free. With the amount of pain I was in when we met, I was doubtful id be able to return to work that entire week. It goes without saying that I was amazed. Throughout the process Cynthia was caring and listened to everything I had to tell her. She offered different options and made suggestions based off my concerns. I am so happy to have found this wonderful woman and will be back anytime my pain may (and if) returns. I stopped in to see if they accepted my insurance before scheduling an initial appointment to help with pain due to a chronic collapsed lung while I'm waiting for a double lung and heart transplant. Cynthia greeted me when I walked in and took down my insurance information with the promise to check into it as soon as she could and would email me her response. I'm the meantime she told me about a community acupuncture option that I can look into if I didn't go to her for treatment. She was so sure acupuncture could help me and wanted me to get treatment even if it couldn't be through her. Cynthia Cates has changes my life. I have lived with chronic back and leg pain for 5 years. I went through 2 back surgeries in the last 3 years and the end result is nerve damage in my legs. After only a couple of visits I can say my pain has been reduced by 80%. Cynthia is a true healer. I love her. I go see her when I am bothered by anything, really. Back pain, stress, PMS and breakouts (to which she gave me some Chinese herbs that helped ALOT), and most recently, a really bad earache. She was able to get me in very quickly and I walked out of her office feeling so much better, both physically and emotionally. This may sound weird, but I actually felt like I was "glowing."
