I had a bad reaction to a detox remedy, which caused my left shoulder to freeze up and become very sore. A trip to the ER didn't reveal the cause, but it ruled out any major issues. I am sad that they have raised their fertility consultation to almost $500. When I started going 3+ years ago it wasn't that price. An ivf consultation doesn't even cost that much. I think priorities have changed for Eagle Acupuncture. I believe it's all about $ now; preying on women who are desperate to become pregnant. I went for several years and spent a ton of $, with them constantly urging me to keep seeking treatment to get my miracle child. I took all the herbs and vitamins recommended (very expensive) and ended up stopping them all on my own after years because none of it was working. My friends who also sought treatment for infertility all had health issues arise from the herbs & vitamins. Every 3-6 months was re-evaluation time which meant another big fee for them to "review" my chart. I understand they are treating many patients, but that fee should NOT be charged for their time to review notes. I had a great relationship with EA until I started experiencing weird things. Prices went up, they played doctor with me; discrediting the information my obgyn had given me. Thanks to one of their free support groups I met a lady who found a wonderful ivf doctor. I ended up using that doctor to conceive. Eagle Acupuncture will say their treatment helped me conceive. Not true. They supported my hormones but that is it. They also posted pictures of my newborn baby on their Facebook page without my consent to further their business. One thing that truly upsets me is how they push their agenda and beliefs. I was too scared during my pregnancy to call them out on their harsh words. I was told I'd kill my baby if I continued to eat bread, and I'd have a horrible labor because I was not using a doula. Now several of their patients that I know re coming forward with similar incidents. It makes me very sad. I'm moving on to a new acupuncturist who is just as knowledgeable and not money hungry. read more

Kristen and Tony are the best most caring and expert acupuncturists you'll find for sports medicine and fertility to name a couple of their specialties. Kristen is so thorough. Tony's expertise with the needles helped me over come pain and depression after major surgery. I am so blessed to have found Kristin at Eagle Acupuncture. She is amazing at what she does and was able to get my body balanced enough to ovulate and I was able to get pregnant after just 1 or 2 visits. We had previously miscarried at 9 or 10 weeks last November (2016), and I do not have a regular cycle, so my body does not always ovulate; thus making it difficult to get pregnant (our last baby took over a year). We were ecstatic to be able to get pregnant so quickly with the help of acupuncture from Kristin. I continued with acupuncture through the first trimester to help get me past risk of miscarriage and we are now 35 weeks along and doing great with no issues whatsoever. Kristin went above and beyond for my overall health as well. During my treatments I came in with an earache, she treated me for that and the next day it was gone. Later that month in cold and flu season, I had been battling a nasty cold and she treated my sinuses along with my normal treatment and my body was fully recovered in 2-3 days, when it seemed otherwise it would have dragged a couple weeks. Finally I broke my wrist and she helped treat my body to deal with that and recommended herbs to help with my bone marrow. I recently started seeing Kristen after dealing with unexplained infertility for about 2.5 years. I was referred by my mom who had seen Kristen on the cover of Herlife magazine. I have been going to Eagle Acupuncture for years and I love them!! Always excited to go! As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with smiles. The staff is so kind and helpful and positive~ Kristen is amazing at what she does. I have had appointments with her that last an hour an half and we go over everything, from medical history to emotions, etc.. She is amazing at what she does!! I have struggled with back pain for years, including a failed surgery. I had a vacation experience with acupuncture and loved it, so looked for a local practitioner. I was thrilled to find a high caliber practice in the Boise area, although I live in south central Idaho. From my first visit, I was treated like family. Jann is so welcoming the minute you come through the door, and Tony is a rare gem. He is patient, gentle, and so willing to explain every facet of the procedure. I also came to know Kristen, although her reputation precedes her. She is compassionate, caring and as excited by the success of her fertility patients as they are. I am humbled by her example of philanthropy, as she quietly and consistently gives back and supports many causes close to her heart.
