My healing journey with breast cancer began in March of 2022, when I chose to fight it holistically. When it metastasized in June of 2025, I realized I needed more support. Hello, My wife was needing treatment for cancer. We meet Dr Karlfedt and felt very pleased with our meeting. The Dr who was giving my wife treatments said if you have any questions just to text him and he would get back to her. Well after the second treatment my wife was experiencing some issues and sent the Dr a message asking if this was normal. Never received a reply. She ended going to the hospital and found she had an infection from the treatment. She was injected in her chest area and continued to have discomfort and bleeding from the procedure. Not once did anyone call from the office to see how she was doing or if she was coming back. The front desk tried to charge me twice for items we already paid for. We were very disappointed in the care and customer service. Be aware you sign paperwork not holding them liable. So do your homework. read more

Dr. Kartfeldt has worked well for my son with C-PTSD. He is comfortable seeing him, and the supplements work well for his condition. My only complaint is that unfortunately, this is a very expensive way to go about taking care of your health. Even though integrative medicine has many more tools to use, it is not truly integrated into allopathic health care. This leads to poor communication with the MDs and a terrible relationship with insurance providers. read more

I was receiving treatment at the center for a trigeminal nerve damage and pain and also for a herniated disk. After spending thousands of $ receiving treatment, the office staff called me one day and said that one of the doctors involved in my treatment was no longer with the center and they needed to cancel my appointments. Then the next day, the office called me again, saying that the second doctor had a health emergency and they needed to cancel these appointments as well. I was left without care of a plan. I did not receive a call from Dr. Karlfedt to provide continuity of care. I was shocked. I then did some research via Google and found out serious issues with the background and history of one of the doctors. Please do your research and vetting of any provider there if you even consider treatments at this place. Dr. Karlfedt showed no accountability or responsibility in following up patients under treatment from these two doctors. This was unacceptable and I had a meeting with him to let him know my serious concerns about such behaviors that included the lack of detailed vetting of their providers. I am actively looking for a functional med doctor in the Treasure Valley who is also an MD. The latter of which is important to me, as a cancer survivor. I recently called The Karlfeldt Center to inquire about office policy and see about scheduling a meet and greet with the only MD on staff there, Dr. Hartford. I was excited to see that they offer "Integrative Cancer Treatment Solutions". Unfortunately, they do NOT offer patients the opportunity to vet their doctors. In an age where people--ESPECIALLY those needing oncological care-- should be taking responsibility for their health and being active participants in their own healing, this seems like a sad and unfortunate office policy. Actually, I find it completely unacceptable. I believe patients should have the opportunity to interview, vet, and make sure their healthcare providers are the VERY BEST team they can put together for themselves, and one shouldn't have to pay upfront for an hour, out of pocket, to ask questions of a potential provider and assess their qualifications to treat them. If I'm going to commit to paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket to a provider who doesn't bill insurance I should be able to interview them for the job. End of story. People are leaving allopathic medicine for a reason. The old ways of our healthcare system are archaic and need to be left behind. BE AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT IN YOUR HEALTH. read more

Our Daughter is dead, after her breast cancer came back she chose the Karlfeldt Center for treatment after doing chemo the first time around with conventional medicine at a hospital, with the Karlfeldt Center we were always encouraged the treatments were working and to stick with the program as they took 40 plus thousand dollars in just over a month, her cancer not only was not cured it spread like wildfire, all the time looking back on her daily visits she was never monitored for blood pressure, oxygen, heart rate no vitals, the doctor in charge had No knowledge of how to even manage cancer pain, I had to remove my daughter from treatment and take her to the closest ER because they could manage her pain, the "doctor" performed in house open wound procedures in the most unsanitary procedure room, our daughter had terminal cancer when she went to Karlfeldt, they knew it, we knew it, but she sold EVERYTHING to live because Karlfeldt Center said they could beat the cancer, she died 6 months ago, just 6 weeks after leaving the center, her treatment time there was beyond pain and her last 6 weeks of life were just as painful read more

my dad has been going to the Karlfeldt center for over 2 years for infusions since he had the jab and Covid. He was examined a couple of times by a PA and has had numerous infusions every month or so.. He has gradually gotten stronger and seems more healthy. I called last week to make another appointment and have been told he will need lab work and another evaluation before he can have any further infusions. the lab work is no problem we can get that covered by insurance. the repeat dr visit however will cost $180 and is not covered by insurance. my dad is 89 years old and very stuck in his ways. I start talking about the infusions a couple of weeks ahead in order to get his ok. he will NOT consent to the extra $180. so he is without his health lifeline. I can see some decline after just 2 months with no treatment. I am suspect that now that the center is brand new, bigger and better they are needing extra income. read more

"Center" for what? This place may only be remotely related to medicine or to health care, though it's much more related to a Bank. I went there for treating/diagnosing a hip pain, for removing a cyst from my arm and for Insomnia medication (Lorazepam). The Cyst was indeed frozen out but that was the ONLY issue resolved. I messaged and called about 30 times for the prescription until I found out that they cannot write prescriptions. Fine---as long as they had told me that at the get-go. My hip pain hasn't changed either. The "bank" part here is that the pleasure of wasting overall about 5 hours there (2 visits), cost me close to a $1,000! Best of all, despite having about 6 people chatting and having a good time in the lobby, I could sit there for an hour, and NO ONE would be interested to ask me what I am waiting for. Overall, there is not a single 'Adult' running the place, and despite the many nice people mulling around, there is no one to talk to and no one seems to be responsible for anything. read more

This office is run so unprofessionally it lacks enforcing any Hippa laws. I say this as a healthcare professional myself. Questionable credentials as a naturopath, charges 125 for the first office visit (50 after that), wants 85 for a finger prick microscopic blood test, and then additionally adds supplements. Look for your first visit to be around 400. He didn't care whatsoever about previous tests and labs I had previously done and recommended an 5 IV blood purification treatment that cost 185 a session. Time with him was short and he never told me some supplements should be taken prior to meals--that research I did on my own. read more
