Seeing Rose has been the best thing I could have ever done for my body. I have been suffering from trauma, anxiety and depression. I don't think I would ever trust anyone else to help me. She really cares about your wellbeing and she's very down to earth. She has made me feel incredibly comfortable and safe whenever we have our sessions. I recommend her to everyone when they're looking for a therapist or anyone suffering from traumatic experiences. She is amazing. read more

I cannot say enough about Rose Sher! I was having extreme pain in my lower back, plus horrible sciatic pain! I could barely walk. Our son's wedding was coming up and I could barely move. First treatment I was already 95% better. I could walk without pain, I could sleep again, and the possibility of being able to dance again was an option. After the second treatment, pain free! And I was able to wear high heels and dance at the wedding! Six months later, I am still pain-free. I am so thankful for Rose Sher and this treatment! read more

I have an old neck injury that hurt for years and years. Well- not anymore! Thank you, Rose Sher!

I have been working with Rose for about 4 years now. I had the original 10 session treatment about 1 1/2 yrs after a car accident, and it was exactly what I needed. Rose and I have an excellent working relationship, I can explain to her what I'm feeling in my body, and she listens on a biomechanical level. I think the Rolfing method is an excellent system for structural integration and balance. Most people would describe Rolfing as "deep tissue" or "it hurts." I would describe it more as "deep stretching." I think because I am a former college athlete, I have a different relationship to what I consider "pain." With deep breathing our work together feels more like stretching to me. With over 15 years of experience, Rose brings sensitivity, awareness, knowledge and experience to the table. Rose has the highest regard for her clients and her craft, and is dedicated to excellence for both. I highly recommend Rolfing to everyone, although, it may not be appropriate for everyone. It is not a traditional massage, but I find its effects longer lasting. read more

Rose is the best Rolfer that has ever worked on me. Many Rolfers are more interested in working the method than actually sensing what might be appropriate at the time. Rose is strong, yet sensitive, always knowing how to proceed to remove blockages and resolve issues! read more

I have seen Rose on a number of occasions. I usually come to her with a specific issue and she will identify other imbalances going on without me having to say anything. She is a very empathic practitioner with a great deal of skill and experience. I had a 90% improvement in a nagging low back imbalance after her session. I recommend her. I'll be back :) read more

Wonderfully intuitive body work. Rose Sher has trained in many different techniques and assesses your body, alignment, wellness etc. before deciding which of her many tools she'll use on you for maximum effectiveness. From Rolfing (which can be intense) to more pressure point and cranial techniques, she knows what she's doing. I found her very focused and kind. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for anything from simple stress relief up to body re-education and re-alignment. read more

A while back I had a ski accident going down a black diamond and herniated a disc in my lower back. Since then I have had cortisone shots, physical therapies, chiropractic work, lots of massages, personal trainers, yoga...I can keep going. Annoyed and tired of shelling out money for things that make me feel better for a day. I agreed to the 10 sessions, a bit wary of such a commitment. I'm almost finished with my series and I felt I needed to write a review because I'm pretty blown away by her. Have you ever had a massage and felt like the therapist doesn't actually feel any of your muscles? This is NOT Rose- she has this keen ability to find all the spots in you body that hurt and release the pressure. She works to really align your body again. For the first time in years my pain is now minimal. I learned so much about my body from Rose and how to help further help repair my injuries out of her office. My favorite benefit is my posture, which I didn't realize how much I appreciate. Now, when my posture is out of place from old habits it feels good to correct myself and I stand taller. Movement is just easier now, it feels like I did years of yoga to correct my posture. She really has a gift as a healer. I now feel like I also have a road map of what I need to do to maintain this feeling of wellness thanks to her. I should also mention I stopped going to the chiropractor and massages while seeing her because I didn't feel I needed to. I look forward to my last couple of sessions. Thank you Rose! You are AMAZING and I am so grateful for you! read more

I love Rose's work!! She is amazing, a true miracle worker! I had all kind of massages throughout the years with various practitioners, many different techniques, all around the world (deep tissue, Swedish, Lymphatic, Thai, Old Siam, Aromatic, Hot-stones, Mud, Japanese, Anma, Shiatsu,... you name it, I pretty much tried it). Some were very good, some not so good, but the extent of their usefulness never extended past a short time beyond the massage itself: it felt good and then it was over. With Rose, it is a totally unique and different experience: it does not specifically feel good while it's going on (you have to lay down, standup, walk around,...) BUT when you walk out, you feel awesome, you are different! It is truly incredible! she completely "re-structured" me: I walk different, I feel different, I am aware of my physical body and its motion through space; my posture is different (not hunched over as I was), I can now very easily bend over and touch the floor (which was painful before), I can perform stretches,... It's amazing!! But, the most incredible of all is that it lasts! I can still feel the benefits days (weeks) after the massage. I am physically different compared to when I walked into her place for my very first session. People even noticed my improved flexibility and posture. I attribute all these benefits to Rose's techniques, experience and probably most importantly: intuition and "natural gift"(?). What I mean is that she is natural at it. She knows her things and knows what to do. Just looking at me move around her room, she knows more about my muscles and skeleton that I will ever know about myself. She instantly knows what to do to correct and address any issue I have. A funny side note: In the past, I tried yoga. I desperately wanted to become more flexible but I have never been able to get any benefit out of it (I know, it's sad, but it's real: I am as flexible as a broom handle!). Rose CHANGED this! I am much more flexible, and I feel so much better that I am seriously thinking to go back to yoga and enjoy the difference (though there is something to be said about paying Rose for one hour body-work and get more benefits without having to perform a yoga routine... I guess it could be labeled: "the lazy-man yoga"... my kind of yoga...) Rose, a million thank-you from the bottom of my heart!!!! You changed me, you give me a second youth, you truly rock! read more

Rose has been so helpful in healing my body. I thought I was never going to be able to run again and now I can. I'm beyond grateful for her mindfulness and care. Her office is so tranquil and she really cares about her patients. read more

Rose saved me! That sounds dramatic, but I was in a really bad place emotionally AND physically when I first went to see her. I had recovered from a total thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer, and I was in a lot of physical pain due to scar tissue and the surgery itself. Having scar tissue in your throat is NOT fun. Every time you swallow you are uncomfortable. Rose was able to reach in and massage my scar tissue, and it is completely gone now. I cannot say how thankful and relieved I am to have found her. I am not a huge holistic medicine person but I am open to trying new things, and I'm so glad I tried this. I did the 10 sessions with Rose, and then some more, and I can honestly say it is one of the best "kind" things I've done for myself. Rose is a gifted healer. She's the real deal. read more

I have been working with Rose for 6 months and I can say without a doubt that she has made my body work better for me. I have more mobility in my neck, shoulders, ankles, and hips. I refer everyone I know to her because of how valuable I think her service is. I am an athlete and have had many massages over my life time, but none of them had a lasting effect the way Rolfing does. My recommendation is to 100% try a session with Rose you might not even know what your body is capable of until you do. read more

Over the past few years, Rose has helped me overcome chronic leg, back and neck pain. I have seen other chiropractors over the years but with Rose, the treatments stick, they aren't just a band-aid for my aches and pain. Ideally I recommend the full ten series and for me I try and go every six months if possible for a few maintenance sessions. She is a godsend!!!! read more

I looked up Rose after reading and hearing about the benefits of structural integration. My goal was to fix some pain and posture issues and gain a better understanding of how to move (and rest) so that I could continue to enjoy a very active lifestyle as I age. From the first through the last of our ten sessions, Rose provided a perfect blend of hands-on healing and expert advice. Because each session started and ended with dialogue and observation, I was able to really understand what we did and why it worked. Her bodywork was effective but not painful--it honestly felt good. :) And aside from the benefits of the therapy, her kindness, humor, and intelligence made every visit a pleasure. I recommend Rose to anyone who wants to understand and optimize their movement. For pain relief, performance, prevention, or to simply improve personal experience. read more

Rose knows her craft. She is one of the best body workers I found. She has a deep understanding of the body's structure and it shows in the work she does. I highly recommend her to anyone who may be recovering from an injury or who just needs a real tune up. She will not disappoint! read more

Rose is the absolute best. I did the first 10 sessions with her and have seen her once a month since then for a tune up. After I leave I always feel like I've been rebooted. She is very calming and instantly puts you at ease. I'm a hairstylist so I consider her a necessity! She works wonders on my shoulders neck and forearms. I feel more symmetrical, more grounded and even taller after i leave. read more

Rose has spoiled me from ever seeking any other body work. Seriously. I've had chronic neck and back issues for 20 years. In that time I have seen massage therapists, chiropractors, cranial sacral therapists, acupuncturists, doctors of Chinese medicine and physical therapists. While they have all been helpful in their own way, no one has ever been as helpful as Rose in alleviating my pain and providing lasting structural changes. Everyone always asks me, "Doesn't it hurt like hell?" No! Rose does her thing and on certain days the fascia is more tender than on others, but she is guided by your responses. There is no one size fits all to this therapy, it's very personal. Every time I see Rose she adjusts to my needs for that day. I completed the 10 session series and still see Rose every month because she keeps me healthy (and I also really enjoy her company). Do yourself a favor and try Rolfing - it may be one of the best things you ever do for yourself. read more

I had wanted to experience Rolfing for years and finally did the 10 sessions. My body feels more balanced and relaxed with less stress on my joints. She was able to restore fluidity to my movement that I thought I had lost forever. Thank you Rose for sharing your gift! read more

I was unsure of the benefits of Rolfing so I got started with an introductory Groupon from Rose--OMG, from the minute we started, I knew I would be in for the full 10-session series. Rose is very attentive to the individual and any special challenges. I am about 5 weeks out from completing my 10-sessions, and have scheduled 3-tune up sessions every 3-4 months--forever! I haven't felt this open, relaxed, comfortable in my own body for years (I'm in my 6th decade, very active/athletic). I sit taller naturally, bend easily and wish I would have met Rose 10 or 20 years ago. Yes, it can hurt, but Rose backs off and goes slowly to release the fascia gently. I had no bruising or lingering pain (although I hear some do). I cannot be more enthusiastic in my recommendation for Rolfing by Rose! read more

Rose is hands down THE BEST. Rolfing works. Period. She is professional, kind, and extremely attentive. Even though I have been a massage therapist for a while, I had never experienced true Rolfing. I was impressed with the unexpected techniques of it and surprisingly, it's not that painful at all. I have seen her for a variety of issues and she is just as good as one as she is at the other. Rose does such an amazing job of being perceptive and working with your body. She would never do anything you were not fully comfortable with. Also--her office has the best zen vibes. So calming. It represents her well. Can't wait to see you soon Rose!! read more

Rose is great! I have been using Rolfers for the last 30 years to help with my back. We just moved here from Colorado a year ago. I had great Rolfers in Colorado. Rose is in that same class. She knows her stuff. I highly recommend using her. John V V read more

The minute you meet Rose its like meeting an old friend. I felt incredibly comfortable with her and was certain she was going to work magic. And I was NOT wrong. I have had hundreds of massages in my life, but this was my first Rolfing and I have to say, I will never go back to massages like I used to. I left there feeling 10x better than I have ever left a massage. I highly recommend Rose Sher. You will not be sorry. read more

I am a therapist and I am an avid cyclist as a hobby. I have worked with Rose over many years. She is so talented and can often look at me in a standing position and determine what is needed. She has reduced my stress as well as helped me with my overall body flexibility. With Rose's work I have been injury free and kept up my cycling. I highly recommend her for rolfing and physical therapy. She is amazing! read more

Right off the bat, Rose Sher is the best Rolfer on planet Earth, second to none! I was in an auto accident and violently rear-ended one and a half years ago, and have severely suffered from a very restrictive neck spinal injury, left shoulder nerve damage and very intense excruciating lower back pain. I've been seeing Rose every single week since my accident. Rose is simply marvelous, hard working, dedicated, professional, truly determined to help and heal. I must say much of my pain has dramatically subsided, and, additionally more freedom of neck motion than ever before - almost magical. My hat, and my shirt, are all off to Rose. I would highly recommend anyone in need of real effective pain management, more freedom of constricted bio-mechanical body motion and superior skeletal alignment not to hesitate a moment before contacting Rose. Notwithstanding, Rose is a really good and fun person to benefit amazing treatment from! read more

I'm incredibly grateful to have found Rose, an expert in the Rolfing technique. The average massage, for me, never resulted in long-term improvements, and it often felt like random mushing around of my body. In contrast, Rose's work feels purposeful and precise and, to my surprise and delight, has a lasting impact. I'm a registered nurse, certified personal trainer and health coach, and I spent a lot of time researching the Rolfing technique before finding Rose. My goal was to address specific areas of pain and restriction in my body, but I suspected that I would benefit by beginning with an overall whole body program in order to determine and address the true causes of dysfunction. (The source of a problem is often not what it appears.) So I opted to start with what is referred to in Rolfing as the "10 Series", and I'm THRILLED that I did because it really does what it claims: it "systematically balances and optimizes the structure and function of the entire body" (rolf.org). The precision of her technique yields immediate results that are truly awesome to experience. It's like my body is re-learning its original, perfect alignment; I'm moving with more ease and less pain on a daily basis. I'm looking forward to seeing Rose on a long-term basis after completing the 10 series in order to address specific issues that have become clear during the 10 series and to maintain the amazing progress. (And she's just a delightful person to be around!) read more
