So I dropped in for a massage ,,,, the massage was average at best . The lady left the room 3 times and that was about 10-15 minutes of my massage time . I don't think I would go back but it wasn't a horrible experience. read more

Massage was good, attitude was bad. After the massage I tipped $10 for a $70 massage and she made it known that she wasn't happy and demanded $20, I said fuck that! For the massage They asked for cash but since I only brought cash for tips, they charged me $2 extra. Won't be back read more

This is a very rubbish massage shop. The attitude of the proprietress is very bad. The fees are expensive. The massage is poor. I also suggest that the police investigate this massage shop. read more

They have a $15 recommended tip even for a $40 massage, they charge for credit card use, they claim they have no cash change to increase your tip, and the masseuse is physically weaker than those at other massage businesses. read more

I was incredibly happy with Mimi and the overall service! That was one of the best massages I've ever had. I was worried because of the reviews, but it turned out better than anything I expected and I get A LOT of massages. I would recommend giving it a try. The front office was helpful and on time with everything. The price was reasonable and I honestly appreciate not paying for frills. It was a genuinely good massage. Lots of pressure, and she clearly knew where the human body holds pain. I hope they see better reviews because they deserve it. read more

The sign in the window said $50 for 60 min for massage. I went in and they were only offering $40 for 30 minutes. I asked if they would honor the advertised deal. They said no. I walked out. read more

Worst massage ever.Rude and unappreciated when tipped, the lady kept talking smack all the way out the door in her language.I'm never going back if the manager is looking at this please respond back.I asked for a manager and the lady said there isn't one. read more

My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a shot since it was close by and the pricing was fair. The pricing for a 60 mins body massage is $50. When we got there, the front desk lady was also one of the masseuse. She walked me to my room and I waited about 15 minutes before she came in and started my massage. I thought she did a decent job and she was friendly, however, my massage was constantly interrupted whenever a customer walked in. I mean, I get it, they're short staff and they're doing the best they can, but at the same time, I'm thinking to myself "are you going to give me additional minutes to my massage". At the end of the massage, I was actually shorted 10 minutes. I wasn't too happy with that but I thought maybe it was a one time thing. Today, we came again to give it another try. There was an available time at 5:30 and 5:45. My boyfriend let me go first and my masseuse didn't come in until 5:35, however, she finished at 6:25. Halfway through my massage, I noticed my boyfriend was still waiting for his masseuse. The masseuses had a miscommunication and my boyfriends masseuse didn't know there was someone waiting for her and took in another client. She had to tell the client to come back in 30 minutes and then she finally began on my boyfriends massage by 6:00. Anyways, after I was done with my massage, I decided to only tip 15% since I didn't get my full hour and she did not look too pleased. So I guess it's a common thing here for them to short their customers 10 minutes. One last thing, their 90 mins body massage is $90. (Their "60 mins" body massage cost $50). Thats almost the full cost for an additional 30 minutes. I thought that did not make sense and is not worth it. Needless to say, we won't be back. read more

TLDR: Got short-changed over 10 minutes on my 1-hour massage. I made an appointment for a massage here (first time here), and when I showed up, no other customer was in the store. I came because I wanted to try out a massage place with an easier parking situation. The lady asked me to pay in advance. There is a $2 upcharge for using a card. There is a little chart on the table that reads to tip $20 for "good" and - I think - $25 for "very good." I paid with a card and ended up just adding my tip to it, much to my regret. There is also a sign that reads "No refunds." I should have read the warning signs and walked out. There was a private room for the 1-hour body massage ($55). The massage started out OK. There was a little fan that I guess was producing white noise, but no other relaxing sounds or anything to note. A little over 40 minutes into the massage, someone else walked into the store. The lady walked out (I don't remember seeing any other worker there, so maybe understandable?) and came back after a few minutes. My guess is that she told the other customer to go into a room. I checked the time when she left the room and when she came back. After she returned, her massage became much more perfunctory. Then, with over 10 minutes still left in my hour massage, she said she was finished! She asked if I wanted hot water or cold. I asked for hot water, and she gave me water that was not even room temperature. Then I guess she went into the room with the other customer, because I didn't see her at all as I was leaving. To top it all off, she had a little "check-in time" and "check-out time" chart on the front desk. I wrote in the time that I checked in, and she had written in that I checked out after the full hour! I was flabbergasted. Needeless to say, I won't be back. read more

Terrible place! The female that gave me a massage with 1 hand and on her cell phone with the other texting. Never ever had that happened before. They are very business like and no personality. Last time I will ever go back. I like to support local places, but can't do that with this place. read more

They have a sign that says $30/60 combo but they lure you into paying $50/body massage. False advertising to me. Walked right out. read more

Green Spa - Massage Therapy Near Me - Brisbane, California

Last week was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have an appointment, but a very nice woman named Candy saw me right away and I got a fantastic deep tissue massage for only $55. It is definitely no-frills, but a great value. I am suspicious of the reviews that say this place is dirty (it is spotless and smells wonderful) or that they demand payment upfront (they didn't with me). Sadly, this spa has been besieged by bad rumors of late - they were temporarily closed in December 2015 after a customer claimed he'd been offered a 'happy ending'... but after an investigation, the county deemed Green Spa was on the up-and-up. I'm glad I gave this place a chance, because I will be returning! read more

Terrible experience. I went in for a half-hour foot massage ($35!) but only got a 20 minute WEAK massage. Jipped by 10 minutes! When I asked her if the massage was over, she told me it started at 7:45 (I guess when I first stepped through the front door?) and that "I can check the cameras and the clock". I pointed to the clock right above my head and she told me to look at the clock in the reception area...20 minutes is 20 minutes from any damn clock lol most people can tally up four 5-minute increments. They need to pay attention to their service (and their reviews)- these massage spots are a dime a dozen. They will not survive with their shitty service. I'll stick with Annie's on Ocean Ave or Oceanic in Foster City, where you get what you pay for read more

I know that this is a new place and would like to give it a chance. However, today was the worst massage ever. I like deep tissue massages. I had to tell the lady 5 times to go deep. She did not know what she was doing. No technique what so ever. If I wanted someone to rub me up and down and in circular motion, I can have my husband do that. She spent the majority of time on my neck. She did not ask me to turn around and ly on my back. She only did the one side. I was so frustrated and was comtemplating walking out. I gave her a $3.00 tip. She did not deserve it. Don't waste your time at this dump. read more

Be sure to call ahead and set up an appointment. Got a good massage here which was much needed after moving lots of heavy stuff. Lots of sore muscles and a stiff back. Pretty no frills but helped me relax and get some of my knots worked out. The therapist checked in throughout the massage which was good. They have several rooms but looks like they also have some chairs set up for reflexology. Enjoy. read more

we use to go there also staffs were nine. we didn't go for whole. But today may owner was changed??they were so rude. we had $50/60 body message.they said tip at list $20 per person. It was supper pushy!! It was like they are cheating us? read more

Went here a few times before and it was ok as far as the foot massage goes. BUT today..... Lady at the front was Super Rude with the worst attitude one can imagine. I had to tell her please give me card back before she ran it and told her she was very rude and I had to leave. It was a bad start already. Whoever was working the front desk at 3pm on 4-14-17 needs to have a attitude check. Bad image for the business, not welcoming at all. Talk to her otherwise you will lose more customers. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! First off I walked into the massage area that smelled like cigarette smoke which made my allergies set off.. Then I am told that the man is massaging me and I asked for a female immediately jasmine gave me attitude and said he is only available so I said I would come back she said no and asked my friend to see the male so she did so I wouldn't leave... While being massaged she talked non stop and kept running out of the room to answer the phone and left the door open with me in my underwear! She ended the massage 5 minutes early and said it takes you 5 mins to get dressed so that makes an hour.. Icing on the cake when she said I NEED to give her a tip on my way out! Totally turned off and will never go back!!! read more

I was looking forward to trying this place but this place is terrible! The massage room have no privacy. The workers are talking between rooms because there is a gap on top of the door. Hey dont mind me I am just trying to relax. This place is what people would call a rub an tug. When they asked me I was like I am done with this massage. I will def not come back here. I wish there was another good massage place besides Luminous which I think its way on the expensive side read more

I made an appointment for an hour long body massage. I arrived at my appointment time. The lady at the front took me in and things were good for the first half hour. She knew where I needed the most work. Then a gentleman comes into the store and the lady leaves my room to attend to him. He couldn't decide if he wanted a massage now or later nor did he have an appointment (I heard the whole conversation; there are "rooms" but they have an open ceiling so you hear everything). Anyway, he left. Five minutes later, he returned and decided to get a massage. The lady working on me leaves AGAIN to attend to him. I'm waiting for 5 minutes thinking, is this lady ever coming back to finish my appointment? She didn't return, but some other lady did who did not do as good of a job as the first. She hurriedly finishes my massage and leaves. The original lady working with me took the gentleman. Incredibly unprofessional and poor customer service for someone who actually called in and made an appointment. There's a sign up that says "appointments only", so why are you prioritizing walk-ins? Why are you leaving half-way through appointments? Not coming back here. read more

Just making a appointment with these people is almost impossible!!!! I called them four times and left messages and never got a call back. Then when I finally got a hold of someone they were rude, hard to understand and not accommodating. If I didn't have a Groupon for this place I would NEVER go here. When I got there for the massage, the place smelt really bad and the room they put me in was only three partition walls, meaning the walls are left open at the top. You can hear everything going in the entire building and the person giving me a massage was constantly yelling back and fourth to the person in-front. it was NOT a place of relaxation at all. read more

You guys have to disregard the previous negative reviews because they have a new massage therapist now. I have never written yelp reviews before but I feel compelled to do so because the service here is awesome! I started getting massage treatments from Candy back when she was working in Southbay and I was so disappointed when she moved. I have seen many massage therapists, but none of them are able to relieve my aches and pains the way that Candy does. She really knows what she's doing and massages all the right trigger points. I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain and she is able to make the pain disappear with her magical hands. She puts her heart into what she does and has a very positive energy about her. She is definitely worth the 45 minute drive it takes me to see her! read more

Even tho I had a groupon, it should still be a good product. This was a pretty bad experience. Massage was amateur to say the least, no modesty, I undressed completely and there was no sheet on the table, and when she was massaging me, my private parts were not covered completely, felt very exposed. Probably should have said something but didn't think she would understand, limited English, Had bought 2 massages, won't be using the 2nd massage. Asked for tip, started cleaning room, before I was fully dressed. read more

I love that they are open late. Great for crazy work schedules. Really nice employees. Don't forget to check groupon for deals too.

I have been going to this spa place since we moved here in Brisbane. Ben and his staff have been very helpful treating my back and neck issues. They are not like regular spa place where they just go through a regular procedure not taking into account of your issues. They have been just doing my back for several times and it made a difference. Also they are super friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Massages are a very personal thing and personally I think this place was great. The space is clean and neat and the two people that work there are very nice and accommodating. The massage was excellent and I left feeling relaxed and was quite pleased. The woman that worked on me seamed very intuitive to where i was hurting and where I needed more pressure. For $45 an hour its an excellent price for the service. For those people that complained about tipping you should be ashamed. These massage therapist work very hard for very little and they deserve a tip! I'll be back! read more

Great massage reasonably priced ($50 for an hour). Will go back when I get too sore from workout.

I really wanted to like this place. It's close my house and has lots of parking. Oh well. I knew things weren't going to go well when the woman seemed disappointed that I wanted a massage. Even though there was no one in the place she kept discouraging me from coming in. Should have left. Massage was barely ok. Even if you live right next door it's not worth it. read more

Want to be insulted? This is the place to go! Based on technique alone I give Green Spa a 1.5 but rounded to a two to be generous Looking for somewhere to relax, and friend and I stopped in for the one hour foot massage that includes a shoulder and neck massage. So disappointed, even before the treatment began but trying not to be a diva, here's how this played out: Walked in to the smell of the two employees/owners lunch No ambient music playing, eery silence besides the employees speaking to each other in another language. Confirmed the foot massage, and was asked to pay up front, weird but OK, used my CC They seated us and took about 5 minutes to return with the tubs of water from the back. Woman massaged me, and about 5 min. after the man started on my friend The techniques were perfunctory and brisk- no long stroking motions to be found When told to roll over on to my stomach there was no face shield in place, but she insisted that I rest my face in the hole. After about 2 minutes, she had me lift up my face and then put a napkin with a face hole cut out in the opening. She announced that my massage was done and walked off. I got up and turned around to get my shoes on and the man announced that he was now done with my friend even though she had barely just turned over for her back rub. There was no, thank you. Can we get you some water? Or removing the extra pillows and foot stools used during the ordeal- so we just crawled out of the wreckage ready to leave- I mean we already paid- right? Walking to the door the woman starts yelling at us that we need to pay tip! "I did your feet, you need to pay me!"I was so startled by her request and didn't even register what she was so angry about- I had already paid, and when she ran my card there was no place to even add a tip, had I wanted to. I showed her the receipt and that there was no line for tip and that I did not carry cash. She offered to run my CC again! I shook my head at her and pointed out that they should have a sign that at least asks for cash tips. Have never been treated so rudely by someone running a business. I suspect that the perfect ratings are plants- so sad. read more
