    Vegan wrap with cheeze
    Enit S.

Between 4 and 5 stars but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Love that they have lots of vegan options. I don't remember the name of the wrap I got, but it was literally a rainbow (see pic) all of those veggies just beautifully layered in the wrap. Lots of different textures, the crunch from the walnuts, the sweetness of the carrots, and sharpness of the mixed greens which I think was arugula; this is totally what I wanted. I loved the taste and was grateful that they let me do vegan cheeze instead of salsa for the chips. That vegan cheeze was definitely not even close to cheese but still tasted surprisingly delicious. It's almost as if they pureed squash, ginger, and nuts together, I'll have to try to make it at home because I personally liked it. Honestly, I could eat this every day, and my stomach felt so good afterwards (I'm sure the ginger had something to do with it too) I sat in the garden area. It was shady with lots of nice plants around, had to clean my own table, but no big deal. I did end up waiting about 25 minutes for the food but it seems they make it fresh to order and I prefer to wait and get something freshly made than something re-heated. Service was good. Definitely a place I will visit again.

    The Holy Trinity

The customer service provided was quick and efficient. The salad was well worth the price. The content of the salad was a vegan's delight. It was loaded with variety, color and textures. I opted for the The Tres Palmas. Fantastic!!!

I would return to this place in a heartbeat if I lived here. Came here around 12-1230 on a Friday afternoon following a tiki hut adventure. Needless to say, this place curbed our appetite. 2 of us are gluten free and miss being able to eat wraps. Green Room Cafe's Secret Spot Wrap restored our excitement :) service was impeccable, welcoming atmosphere, food was delicious, and prices were as expected for fresh ingredients. Very happy we came here

"The Secret Spot" - $15.78 Filled with black beans, brown rice, carrots, cheese, and chicken.

TOKIDOKI Nomad https://jacquelinemhadel.com/, IG: jackiehadel1 I'm usually traveling abroad, but in recent returns to Cocoa Beach, I've found myself craving "The Secret Spot" - $15.78. Filled with black beans, brown rice, carrots, cheese, and chicken. With Chipotle Sauce. Truly addicting, y'all. It's always my first meal 'out' when I get back. It's the only item on the entire menu that comes with meat. Everything else is vegan and vegetarian. It's weight-heavy, really, and most comfortably eaten as a half and with half of the chips and salsa. You can definitely save the other portion for another meal. Or, if eating in, share it, and maybe try something else on the menu. That's what I did the first time I went with friends. We also got the "Backdoor Burger,' which is on a separate menu. It's a Beyond Burger with Swiss Cheese and Mushrooms. Delicious! (Some people have voiced their preferences for a real veggie OR black bean burger, rather than the Beyond...) Artsy Surfer Vibe inside. There is also a small outside seating area. In the pictures of the front view, you will see "Happy Place," next to it. That's where people can sit outside. I also recommend the freshly brewed Raspberry Ice Tea to refresh you on an 80 degree+ day. Food - 5 Service - 5 (very attentive, maybe too attentive, but the servers always make sure to check if you're satisfied or if you need anything.) Ambiance - 4 It's the first place I recommend to anyone who asks me where to eat in Downtown Cocoa Beach. Especially for lunch.

The Green Room Cafe in Cocoa Beach is solid especially for those plant strong vegans, vegetarians, or flexitarians. The Cafe isn't 100 percent veg yet many of the sandwiches & wraps can be made vegan. I have eaten here twice in the last few months. Many of the wraps & sandwiches have surfer names e.g. The Sunset, The Sunrise, The Reef, The Local, The Inlet, The Mavericks, The Secret Spot, & so on. I Went w/ the Rick Burger on my first visit. This features a 1/4 lb veggie patty, 1000 island dressing, swiss cheese, goat cheese, Quiet Heat chipotle sauce, avocado, carrot, tomato, sprouts, red cabbage, & romaine on a Kaiser roll. The Rick Burger is easy enough to customize vegan. The veggie burger is made from the Impossible Burger. They will add Follow Your Heart Vegan Cheese instead of the swiss & omit the goat cheese. The Rick Burger was really good. I had to ask my waitress if it was vegan & it was indeed yet the Impossible Burger is hearty. It is interesting to see the evolution of the vegan veggie burger as many places from restraunts to cafes to fast food joints are using the Impossible Burger or Beyond Meat Burger. The next time I went to the Green Room I went w/ the Pure Life Wrap. It is vegan by default & comes w/ homemade hummus, tomato, carrot, cucumbers, red cabbage, mushroom, & a baby spring mix. I did Pure Life Wrap is grilled like a panini sandwich. Nice presentation although was less substantial than the Rick Burger. These are two opposite spectrums or paradigms of the vegan life. Each sandwich or wrap is served w/ a side of blue corn chips & made in house salsa. While I feel the sandwiches are solid. The Rick Burger might be the best burger or sandwich in Brevard County for vegans yet feel the Green Room could have different sides besides the corn chips w/ salsa. I thought the salsa was a bit underwhelming yet perhaps was spoiled when I lived in the Bay Area as visiting a Mission Taqueria there are several varieties of salsa that pack heat & perhaps are a bit more authentic. If the sandwiches were served w/ a side of potato salad or pasta salad or side salad or steamed greens etc that would bump my review up to five stars. Thanks Green Room. Look forward to repeated visits at your cafe a few blocks from the beach that is no doubt a favorite for many surfers in the area.

Such an authentic place with delicious food, I would love to come back when I'm in Cocoa Beach.

Golden Fold. Didn't seem prepared all the way and wasn't as flavorful as the description sounded.

Came in for a late lunch, the spot is super cute and beachy at the end of a small plaza. I wasn't acknowledged by the 2 girls in the back despite there only being like 2 customers already eating, one of which I think worked there and may have been on her break and said hello. Once they spoke to me, I ordered the golden fold which sounds amazing but was a disappointment. The food came out fast and the portions are good but it lacked flavor and the sauce it came with had a hair in it. I was going to get an açaí bowl to take home but the lack of customer service and lack of taste in the food was so off putting that I decided not to. I wanted to go here because they have healthier options compared to other places while I'm on vaca but I won't be back, hopefully it was just a bad day and not how they normally operate.

The food was delicious and the sandwiches and burgers were great served with chips and salsa. The tortilla soup was amazing love this place. Not a cheap place.

    Cheers to the weekend

I love green room. The portions are great. The food tasted really fresh and the hummus was so delish. I have tried most of the places in cocoa beach, this is by far my favorite lunch spot. So good. Inside- cozy with beachy feel. Service was great and accommodating. We had the soup and one of the wraps. There is a place next door that offers a similar menu, and it might be a little cheaper, BUT I would pay the $14 all day long for the wrap here. You get what you pay for.

I went to Cocoa Beach with a few friends when traveling around Florida and checked on yelp for the best healthy restaurant near the beach. I was not disappointed as the food was amazing! I loved it and would definitely go back here. It's healthy and taste great! They have smoothies, sandwiches, acai bowls, and wraps. I ordered the Reef sandwich which came with gluten free chips and homemade salsa. I thought the vegenaise were a bit too salty/sour for my taste but overall was very pleased with the customer service and food.

We split a bowl of crab soup, pork belly rueben, crab balls, and basket of fries. Plenty for 2 people. The soup was super thick with some chunks of crab. It was cold (20-30 degrees), so this was a perfect dish for the weather. Not sure if I would get this on a 90-100 degree day though! The reuben had nice and crispy chicharron pork belly pieces. Would order again. The fries were crispy and plentiful (we chose Old Bay seasoning). Totally satisfied. The Crab Balls were good, but not necessarily something I'll likely crave. They came with a cocktail jelly (not sauce) and some tartar sauce. I would've preferred an aioli instead for them. The sauces were just unusual to me and let me down just a bit. Maybe it wasn't meant to be a jelly? Dunno. Ordered the sweet tea. No half & half options FWIW. Definitely a fountain tea like Brisk (not a fan). So, a solid 4 stars for this place. We'll definitely come back again and check out something else on their menu though.

The food is outstanding and very reasonably priced. The small soffrito bowl (about $11) is the perfect size to satisfy without feeling completely stuffed and uncomfortable. Their slow cooked pork is so good and moist. I had the same on my Huevos Rancheros on our third visit. I love Huevos Rancheros and I think this was the best version of it I've ever had! The eggs over easy were perfectly cooked runny yokes but fully cooked whites. I dug in too quickly to think to snap a photo first! The other big selling point for me is that they squeeze their own lime, lemon and orange juices so their house margarita at only $9 is absolutely delicious! It goes down too easily but with such a good price why not get a second?? Our second lunch I tried the mahi mahi tacos and I appreciated that the fish was grilled and not fried so there are menu options that are fairly healthy. This day I opted to only have 1 margarita and then have an ice cream at Fat Donkey Ice Cream directly next door. We liked eating outside on the front patio with the tiki-style thatched roof. Their response suggests that we only waited 35 minutes to get our food and that they make everything from scratch. There must be some underestimation somewhere in your timeline as the food we were served had to have been sitting for at least 10-15 minutes to get as cold as it was when it was served to us. As for us not giving you a chance to make things right, come on. My husband asked to be cashed out for the lemonade he had and that we couldn't eat food served this cold. Your waitress simply told us it was taken care of, to have a nice day, and turned and walked off. When my husband asked again at the front of the restaurant to be cashed out, the young lady at the front told us that if we were going to walk out there's nothing she could do. At no point were we offered to speak with management or to have our food remade. Later on when my husband called we were again given lip service with no attempt to make things right. I get trying to protect your business, but when your customer service is subpar you need to own that. At no point has this establishment offered to make this right. Very disappointed. Big Daddy J's 5 Great Things 3850 N Atlantic Ave, Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 American Lacey Thomas 169 points 4 hours ago We waited almost an hour for our food. It wasn't even busy. When we did receive it it was the brisket sandwich was cold and the frys had been sitting there. Avoid this restaurant unless you want to wait and get cold food. Food 1 Service 1 Atmosphere 1 Response from the owner 2 hours ago Hello Lacey, we're sorry things didn't go right for your visit. We take guest experience very seriously so we made sure to review your visit and take notes for us to improve. At 1:45pm you were greeted and sat. Our server took your drink order @1:46pm and returned with beverages by 1:47pm. The order was taken @1:48pm and entered to our kitchen. At 2:15 our server brought refills and apologized for the food wait at 27 minutes in. The food arrived to the table at 2:23pm. 35 minutes after order. Now, let us say, that's never our standard, it's just not what normally happens. Having a 1200 dollar hour at 2pm is not typical. Thats a big hour for a small place. Our typical food ticket time at that hour is an 8 minute average. We're fast. But sometimes a perfect storm hits and we do the best we can with the hand dealt. We make everything from scratch and make sure to put love in our dishes. Had you not gotten up, and dropped your tray in our food service window and left after being in the restaurant a total of 35 minutes, we would have most certainly made things up to you. We pride ourselves on service. Man, we got buried, we admit it. However, we unbury well. We are definitely not perfect, and we make mistakes, but we're know for what we do after. Unfortunately you did not give us that opportunity. We understand when you're hungry and traveling, you need food in a timely manner. So 35 minutes may seem like an eternity, we feel you. We apologize you ran into our perfect storm. We take all of this very seriously and we will do things to improve, which has already started. We appreciate your feedback and we wish you safe travels.
