I was in Little Italy yesterday for an event at 10 am. I arrived in the area at around 9:30 am, looking for parking. I decided to try my luck along Clinton Street.
I saw a Green P sign. I headed over to see if I could find a parking spot. An SUV pulled out of a spot. Perfect! The spot would be mine.
This parking lot is small. Spots are tight. My car looked tiny compared to the other vehicles in the lot. I backed into the spot and was happy that I had nabbed the only available parking spot in this lot on a Saturday morning.
You can either pay at the kiosk or use the Green P app. I did the latter. The lot number is 225. You'll need it to pay through the app.
The event said that it would be three hours in length. I had passed by two businesses on my way to the Royal Theatre that I wanted to visit after this event, so I maxed out parking on a Saturday and paid $7.
I ended up having lunch and doing a bit of shopping before I headed back to my car. It was a short walk from Wonder Pens to this parking lot.
I noticed that this lot had parking hours from 6 pm to 2 am every night. All other hours were reserved for school board employees.
It didn't occur to me that I was parked behind a school. I was. It lot is a part of Saint Francis of Assisi Separate School.
I was pleased finding parking at this lot. The parking rate was reasonable for the hours that I had spent in this neighbourhood. I'd parking here again when I'm back in the area.
