These days, I rarely am here and discovering a place to park was a cool exercise. I wanted to have a late lunch at Mascot Brewery. Parking along King Street West wasn't going to happen. Instead, I found this Impark across from Roy Thomson Hall, roughly a block up the street from where I wanted to dine. It's a part of RBC Wellington. You enter and exit the underground parking lot off Simcoe Street. There are three parking floors. I managed to find plenty of parking on P1. I parked across from the doors leading you to the elevator. It's clean in this lot. It's unusually clean. It's quite the feat! Each floor is clearly marked. There are constant reminders to note the level on which you have parked. You basically locate a parking kiosk that's located on each floor, in front of the elevator. You enter your licence plate (it's a shame that you can't give your ticket to someone if you have time left on it anymore), select your parking duration, and pay with a credit card. The kiosks do not accept cash or debit cards. I was standing there trying to determine how much time I needed to stuff my face with grub. I specified two hours. On weekdays, it's $8 each hour, up to maximum of $20. I paid $16. You then take your ticket with you. Determining whether $16 is expensive is subjective. Being in the theatre district and being so close to where I needed to be, $16 isn't horrible. It's also covered parking, so your car doesn't have to brave the elements or clear snow off your car like I had been doing for the past week. I predicted correctly. I was done casually eating lunch in 1.75 hours. I had enough time to waddle over to my car and leave with lots of time left to spare. When you leave or enter the parking lot, there is a single elevator that gets you to street level. It's elevator F. It's up to you to decide what the F stands for. It was food for me. If you find parking rates here to be expensive, you can always use a curse word as your favourite F word. You access the elevators through RBC Wellington on Wellington Street West. It's pleasant seeing waxed floors that reflect your face when you look down as you enter and exit the building. This parking lot is awesome when there aren't any performances happening at Roy Thomson Hall. You have plenty of spots to choose from. I can see this lot fully occupied quickly when there is a show across the street. I had a great experience. It makes me want to revisit Elephant and Castle, and check out Lobster Burger Bar a few doors from it. I have a parking lot that's steps away from them that I like. (480)

This translated into a great parking spot for me. Lots of places to choose from where I could have a car space on either side of me. What else? Its the first Green P affiliated parking spot I've seen with 1$/half hr pricing in the city. I paid 3$ the last time I was here (from 6pm till 10). For me, those two items alone make this a great parking destination. Some info below... I came downtown to pick up some lunch from Egg Club. I could have parked illegally on Dundas Street East to pick up my goods, but the thought of getting a parking ticket didn't appeal to me. Instead, I found this Canada Auto Parks parking lot and pulled in. This parking lot is located on the southwest corner of Church Street and Dundas Street East. I am pretty familiar with this intersection, as I typically park around this area to either attend a concert at Massey Hall or shop at the Eaton Centre. Remember when we could do those things freely?! There were plenty of parking spots to choose from when I got there. I parked closer to the payment machines and walked over to pay. You have the option to pay with coins or a credit card. I don't carry the former these days during a pandemic, so I did the latter. These machines gave me grief. I tried the one on the right first. You first slide in your credit card. When prompted, you remove it. You then enter your car's licence plate ID and select how much time you need. I did all that and chose fifteen minutes. I pressed the checkmark that is the enter key. It did nothing. I pressed several times. No transaction completed message. No ticket dispensed. Nothing. I then tried the same thing with the left machine. Same thing. Perhaps it wanted me to do the maximum rate, but I shouldn't be forced to buy more time than I need. So much for playing it safe. I parked illegally, without paying, to fetch my food. I came back and was happy that my car hadn't been towed! It wasn't the best parking experience. However, I came out of it looking like I enjoyed breaking rules, so I have that story now... haha (13)

I had no…read moreidea that this carpool even was a thing at this location, so of course I have to write a review! this location is almost perfect, as I was travelling here from work, I had to do some huge detouring to actually get to the lot. there is no access to Courtneypark from getting off the 407 in either direction to go south on highway 410, if you were to do this you completely bypass Courtneypark and ultimately miss this carpool lot. this lot is pretty much brand new, showing absolutely zero signs of wear and tear, lots of spots present for parking, with 279 for normal vehicles and 12 for accessible vehicles. I wish this carpool lot had a bathroom, that would have pushed this from good to great! I love that you are allowed to park your vehicle for up to 120 hours as well, that's super convenient if you need multiple day parking, and the best part of all. this is a free service, and I LOVE free parking!

Green P parking along St. Clair Avenue West, just west of Yonge Street, on the north side, has…read morerestrictions. You can't park on this street between 4 pm and 6 pm on weekdays. Naturally, I was heading to an eatery and arrived just past 5 pm. I needed to find a parking lot. I found this Green P parking lot on Delisle Avenue, which runs parallel to and is north of St. Clair Avenue West. Perfect! I pulled into the lot and landed a spot across from the ticket kiosk, steps away from the street. I backed into the spot. There was enough room for me to get out of my car. Some parking spots are super tight between them. It was decent here. I have the Green P app on my phone. I paid for parking through it. The lot code number is 13. I like using this app because if you need more time, you can extend your stay. I managed to do it and got an extra hour. It beats running back to the kiosk to get another ticket. I spent probably a good two hours in this neighbourhood. The flat rates are decent at this parking lot. If I wanted to max out my stay till 7 am on Thursday, the rate would be $6. The maximum rates do differ based on the parking ramp level that you are on Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm. I was on the ground level, so there wasn't a maximum. However, for the other levels, there are maximums. I was pleased finding this parking lot. My car was safe and sound. I'd return and park here whenever I'm back in this area. (357)

I had always parked on Church Street, in a parking lot just north of Dundas Street East. Over the years, parking has become more limited. Some parking lots have been replaced by buildings in this area. Yes, I'm referring to the expansion of the Toronto Metropolitan (formerly Ryerson) University campus. My preferred location is a Green P underground parking lot at Yonge-Dundas Square. With the concert taking place on a Saturday evening, I knew that it would be difficult finding parking there. I was right. A gate was down to indicate that the lot was full. Did I have a plan B? Sure thing. I hit this parking lot, which I now know that it's called Unit Park. It's across from the Bond Street Hotel. Of note, I also have plans C and D. If they had all failed, I would have been extremely concerned! I got to Unit Park and nabbed a vacant spot facing Dundas Street East, at the very corner of Bond Street. It was a good evening. I have parked at this lot in the past years ago. Prices are more expensive here because it's considered hotel parking. It explains why it's not necessarily my first choice. However, the location is decent to get to Massey Hall, Eaton Centre, and more. During weekday hours, you do get an attendant who will collect your money and issue you a ticket. However, on weekends, you get payment kiosks. It was pretty busy by the time that I got there. There was a huge family using the left one and a couple using the right one. The family moved away en masse. I got to use the left kiosk. It was straightforward. You enter your licence plate number. The only option I got was to pay $20 for parking till 6 am. It is more expensive to park here. However, $20 isn't horrible to park for 12 hours in a touristy area. I paid with a credit card. My card was validated and the transaction went through fine. I got a ticket that you place on your car's dashboard. Easy peasy! I locked my car and was in the area for over five hours. I did touristy things. I shopped. I browsed. I saw a concert. I returned to my car. I always feel safe in this area. This lot is brightly lit. I was happy to return to my car and head home after a fairly long, but fun day out and about. Should I end up not finding a parking spot at my preferred lot again, I'd be happy to return to this one to park my car. (470)

My plan was to park in front of the place on Yonge Street and pay for parking through the Green P app. I got there at around 5:35 pm. The last time I was here, it was well past rush hour. This time, I was in a period where you can't park on the street from 4 pm till 6 pm. I saw a public parking sign. I followed it around the 5200 Yonge Street building that features Lucullus. There was public parking in the underground lot, which is shared with tenant parking. Cool! I remember seeing a rate of $8.85. I wasn't sure if I'd truly need to pay that much. I went downstairs to look for a spot. The public parking spots are closest to the wall. There are signs that clearly state that they are public. They also let you know where the payment machines are. Luckily, I parked fairly close to a payment machine, so I headed over to it after having backed into a spot. There was plenty of public parking. You do need to enter your licence plate number. The payment process was straightforward. I entered my licence plate and it automatically said that I'd be paying for parking till 6 am. You can't pay by hour. I had a flat rate of $5, which wasn't bad. I ended up staying here for an hour. I got hungry and ate in my car before heading home. The machine only accepts cash, coins, and credit cards. If you do pay with bills, you don't get any change back. I paid with a credit card. I got my ticket and placed it on my car's dashboard. Signage was excellent here. I had no problem finding my way in and out of this underground parking lot. I also found the elevators easily and took it up to the main floor to get access to both the food hall and Lucullus. It's a decent lot, especially when the weather is horrible and you don't feel like brushing the snow off it in the winter. It's super clean. There are major heating fans downstairs. They are loud when they start up, which caught me by surprise. I was good when my heart stopped racing from being so startled by the noise. I'd park here again when I want to stay longer or I end up coming here when I can't park on the street during rush hour. (379)
