The Woodshed ended up being an awesome space for it and we couldn't recommend it enough. First off, Anndrea was a pleasure to work with. She toured the venue with us, answering all of our questions the day of and afterwards. She was quick to respond and very friendly throughout the entire time. Shoutout to Tiffany as well, who was able to help us out on the day of the event, and helped to bar tend. The venue itself is also such a fun space, with fun accents, such as the live plant wall and the fun tap handles. We created a Spotify playlist that we were able to play using the venue speakers, and we even used the projector screen that they had to play our Nintendo Switch games during the welcome party. Street parking was plentiful and our guests ended up loving the venue as well. We would highly recommend the Woodshed for anyone looking for a fun space to host a gathering or party!

Pictures that are posted don't even do it justice. They have beautiful flower features (including variety of flowers, tropical flowers and trees, upkept planetary), BEAUTIFUL water features like a little steam under this dramatic gorgeous bridge, this INSANE waterwall , and this little water fall book in the back corner perfect for photos and private moments before you big event. Comes with chairs and tables and the staff that help set it up and take down. They have some additional things you can do as well like have the arch or lawn games, but what is the best part of it all is that you can really make you event what you want it to be. Our wedding came out PERFECT and there wasn't one guest that didn't RAVE about how beautiful the venue was, ceremony was, the flow and layout of the venue, the features, and more. Everything is in one place, and the flow is so easy to navigate yet you have the ability to make different options of choices. Truly a make it your own! Thank you especially to Hanna, Becca, and John for making the day absolutely PERFECT and making us really feel like every decision we made was ours. I wish I could be at the venue every single day.

It felt intimate but spacious, with lots of options on where to hang out during the event. This place is a gem - so many people kept asking, "How did you find this place?!" We're so glad we did! We went with the barbecue dinner buffet option and folks were raving about it. There was more than enough to go around with lots of people getting seconds. We also opted for the flatbread pizza option during cocktail hour and did NOT regret it. The venue is already so gorgeous with all the lush greenery and flowers. We added lots of our own touches like Mexican flags, cacti on tables, table runners, etc. It was so much fun to be able to dress up the venue to reflect our personalities. Emily has the venue running like a well oiled machine. She's super easy to work with and patient. I'm so, so glad we found Slate Barn and Gardens for our wedding.

Contact Emily and her team now because the perfect spot to say I Do is right here. We looked at 4 maybe 5 local san diego venues and all of them were missing one must need list item on our wish list. We wanted an all included, open bar with beer/wine/and liquor, and for the space to feel intimate. We found all these checklist items with The Slate Barn & Gardens. Our day was beyond beautiful we want to relive it! Ok some details for you brides to be and grooms to be: Emily and her team are so accommodating from start to finish. She handles everything from table set up and venue prep to the center pieces. They have a great selection of candle holders, decor items and linen colors for everyones style. There is a brides suite on the grounds, sorry guys you'll have to chill somewhere else. Its cozy and fit all 9 of us girls in it! THE FOOD. Everyone is still talking about how great the food was. We were so happy with all the different menu options, we were able to accommodate all different types of diets in one swoop. Emily plans all of the venue side of the day, all you bring in your drinks, a DJ and florals. We had the best vendors make our day come to life. We can not thank the crew enough for making our experience a stress free and amazing experience. THANK YOU!

There's a bar available at the pools, which is convenient. You can sit at the bar to watch sports or at tables overlooking the lake. Happy hour is 3-6 PM, and I got a craft IPA for just $6, such a great deal! *Brickman's: Honestly, not my favorite. Breakfast can be disappointing. My friend's eggs Benedict was just a handful of spinach on sloppy-looking ham with an overcooked egg. The breakfast burrito is good, though, and the view overlooking the golf course is beautiful. Overall, this place is incredibly relaxing. You can choose a room with a pool or lake view, and it offers great value. Kid-friendly, complementary parking, and truly a hidden escape. Highly recommend for a low-stress, enjoyable stay.

The Team helped with big to small requests and ensured that guests were happy with their stay (handing out welcome bags as planned).
