I had a little extra time, so I decided to stop by this nursery, and I'm glad I did. It looks tiny…read morefrom the road, but there's actually a large back section with a great selection. Unfortunately, when I first arrived I couldn't browse the front plants because they were being watered, but I still ended up finding a cute little squash plant to take home. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. They have a wide variety, and I was really impressed with how many different plants and unique options they offer. They also carry houseplants, which is a nice bonus. There's a decent amount of parking, and overall I'd recommend this place if you're looking to liven up your garden. I'll definitely keep them in mind next time I'm on the hunt for a specialty plant.

For a smaller nursery, they actually have a really nice variety of plants, and even when they don't…read morehave exactly what you're looking for, the staff is more than happy to help you track it down or suggest alternatives. Some plants are very reasonably priced, depending on what you're shopping for, which makes it easy to pick up a few things without overspending. Parking can be a bit tricky since the lot is small, but you can park across the street or even at the CVS next door and walk over, which is what I usually do. Overall, it's a sweet local nursery with helpful people and a good selection for its size.

My mother ordered lots of new appliances from here recently. The refrigerator was delivered dented…read more Fortunately, the delivery guy spotted the dent on the door and suggested we refuse delivery of it and that they would be back in touch within a day to arrange for delivery of a new one without dents. He was also supposed to hook up our washer and dryer but didn't hook up the dryer. Given that it was Labor Day weekend, we waited until Tuesday to go back to the store. The soonest the delivery/hookup people could come over was on FRIDAY. I said it was unacceptable and that I wanted them to just come get all the appliances and I would return them to the store. Carmella asked me to wait a moment. She managed to get one of the employees to come over to our home the next morning and get the dryer properly installed. :) They couldn't get the refrigerator we originally ordered until two more weeks. That wasn't good and I asked for a refund. They hemmed and hawed for a moment then started making phone calls. It was more than an hour of waiting until they could process our refund but they got it done. Big thank you to Carmella and to Robert for getting things right with us!

The employee treated us like we were trying to steal it. He leaned on it the whole time and got in my personal space when he finally did let me hold it. He treated us like we were going to steal it because we couldn't afford it. Also he didn't believe me when I asked about a military discount. If it hadn't been so close to Christmas and had of had time I would have went somewhere else. I will never go back there unless I just don't have a choice. It made me feel humiliated. Heck I even worked for a Home Depot in clay when I was younger so... nostalgia, but nah no more. I wish I remember the employees name but unfortunately I don't. And the employee who "helped" me couldn't even tell me about it or answer my questions too.

Gator Hydroponics is one of the many, many great things about living in Gainesville; in this small…read moretown we have a very well stocked hydroponic and exotic organic grow supplier. How cool is that? I cannot imagine another town smaller than Atlanta having such a wonderful resource. The resource is not just the variety of liquid seaweeds, and Mycorrhisals, and exotic sprayers available, it is the ready easy knowledge of the kids that work there. I have access to faculty in the Horticulture Department at UF, but they have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions, and they go into theoretical complexities that I do not need. The kids working this lovely hydroponic supply outlet do not have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions. And they are so well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced that they should be teaching and giving seminars. Yes, they are a little expensive relative to online, or even the big box stores like Lowes, but if you want this type of resource to continue in towns this size you will not just by your nutrient solutions there, you will buy your coco coir there as well. Come on people; don't go to Lowes just to save a few bucks on the common stuff, by helping this great business thrive you will help your plants thrive, and when your plants thrive, you thrive. Forgive me for adding this, but when you thrive we all thrive. LETS THRIVE!!!

Not too far from home, we made the drive out here and it has everything we need. The employee working, Mikey, was extremely helpful and gave us all the information we needed. We're so excited to begin our project and will definitely be coming back for everything we need. We're extremely happy that we found this store and will continue to come back here to complete all of our other projects!
