Last October, my family needed help processing a green card for my grandmother who was immigrating from Japan. We chose to work with Danny after our initial consultation--he was very welcoming and knowledgeable (answering all our questions with genuine attentiveness). Over the months, him and his staff helped guide us through the process with a series of emails. Even when my mom wasn't as responsive as she should've been, Danny's team (Linda, Joanne, and Jenny) were respectfully polite and diligent in following up. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed away two days ago. And the fact that I'm writing this review in light of what just happened shows how much their efforts meant to me and my family. They helped ease any worries and concerns we had about the process. Even when we broke the news to them, they were extremely caring in their response. It means a lot to us. This review is the least I could do to show my thanks. read more

Awesome staff. Great knowledge assisted with work Visa needs and couldn't have gone better.

Danny is a very knowledgeable attorney and he has the most responsive lawyer group. He can provide the most suitable path to achieve your goal. I work with him to get my immigration formalities done. He guided me through the entire process nicely and smoothly. read more

Don't recommend. Their processing speed is too slow. They will never keep you updated unless you ask multiple times. They promise us to give the document before the case process. And they never did. I think the lawyers is too busy dealing with other "valuable" customers and it's hard to reach him. read more

I came across Green Maple Law Firm through yelp when I was searching for an immigration attorney to help me with my brother's student visa. I called to set up a free consultation (some other attorneys want to charge me $300 for talking to them and other didn't even bother to give me a call back). I met up with Danny Chen. He was both professional, helpful, and most importantly honest. He told me there's nothing he could help me as an attorney since my brother is applying for a student visa. But he gave me several tips and suggestions. Those tips guided me through the preparation process and ultimately got the visa for my brother. If you need an immigration attorney, I highly recommend Danny Chen. You can rest assured that he'll provide you with the best service and knowledge without paying an arm and a leg. read more

My husband and I used Danny to get my green card/adjustment of status, after talking to a few lawyers in the area, none of them seemed to care much about our issues or ongoing questions we had, until we met with Danny, what a breath of fresh air! It is very rare that you find a Law firm that IS NOT looking for ways to take in your money as fast as they can, and then slack off on you!...and if there was ever such a Law firm, I can testify and assure you that it is Green Maple! Am not joking, these guys, especially Danny and Linda, are really the ones you call when you have reached the ultimate point of frustration and futility with the immigration process! I was totally blown away when I first went in to see them with my wife. A previous attorney had taken so much money from us, and had been unable to deliver our green card. However, Danny and Linda received us with warmth and assurance. They gave us a full consultation without asking for a penny....other firms WILL request anywhere from $200-$300. They also assured us that they will investigate our case with USCIS, and find out why things stalled. Within 6 months from our meeting with Danny and Linda, they already had us back on track with the immigration process. Within another 6 months, we had our Green card on the way. They STILL had not asked for a penny from us! At this point, my wife and I requested the bill. The ultimate truth was that Green Maple Law Group declined our request for payment. They assured us that their service to us was on the house...and that they were glad to have been able to help...after 6 years of trying! I still find it hard to believe that these guys corresponded with us by email, telephone, and personal contact. They went on to answer all our questions, and corrected the mistakes our former attorneys had made....ALL without charging us a penny!!! Thanks Danny and Linda. You are kind, and genuinely do care about people. a great testament to all positive sides of the human character. God bless you indeed. read more

I approached Danny Chen from Green Maple Law Group initially just to learn about the popular work visa known as H1-B, which I understood at the time as the only option a recent grad in design field can go for. Danny scheduled a phone consultation with me on the same day and opened my eyes on other possible legal options to stay in the US to further my career. He explained in detail the pros and cons of each and their requirements, immediately I know this is a law firm who think for their clients with the highest consideration, ethic and upmost integrity. Even though I located in New York, I entrusted my case with them right away. Danny has a full team of staff to back him up, I worked with Linda who were thorough every step of the way. For my personal case I went for the H1-B this time, where the employer's involvement was needed (and required by Law). Initially there were a little dispute from my employer's side in terms of the modes of communication with my lawyer and types of document they were able to supply. But Danny and his team were resourceful and resilient to work around the road blocks and obtained what was needed for my case. Although the major downfall for pursuing the H1-B visa is the lottery cap, which I didn't get. I am already getting started on sorting out and preparing for the other visa options that Danny has introduced to me. Needless to say I will go back to Danny when I am ready to go again, and I know he will take care of everything after that. read more

Attorney Danny Chen has consistently demonstrated a high level of professionalism to me (I am also an Attorney) and my clients. In the legal field, the top attorneys are those who have mastered the technical aspects of the legal subject, AND who are able to succinctly explain complicated issues to non-legal clients AND also execute the legal procedure efficiently and effectively. Attorney Chen has demonstrated all of those skill sets. I have asked Attorney Chen about some immigration matters before and he has always been able to explain the law, the ramifications, and solutions... just within a few minutes. I have referred several clients to Attorney because I know he will be able to help them AND he will make me look good by solving my clients' problems! read more
