I had a very good experience with the Nelson & Nunez firm. During our initial consulting call, Jay Nunez was able to provide all the information we needed before making a decision to hire a lawyer to support with immigration. His and his team's familiarity and experience with the immigration process made it very smooth, easy and much quicker than we expected. I would definitely recommend this firm. read more

Let me start off by saying that I will be FOREVER grateful for Jay and his staff. I waited 27 years to get a green card. All other attorney that my mom and I would go to would either take our money or never came through. Once we booked our consultation Jay automatically told us he would be able to take on my case to proceed on something that seemed it would never become a reality. I was shocked on how fast L.A County processed my application and within 2 months I had my green card in hand! It was a moment I had dreamed of since I was a teenager. Jay and his staff were amazing!! Always courteous and very persistent when I procrastinated on getting information they needed. I would One Hundred Percent recommend them to others who see no light at the end of the tunnel like I did. Thank you, Again Jay, you have changed my life forever!!! read more

I would like to start off by saying the immigration process at first kind can seem overwhelming. However once we started the process with Jay Nunez and team the stress and unknowing of what to do or how to even start disappeared. Our anxiety of not knowing what to do or how to make sure everything was done correctly and on time evaporated after our first meeting with Jay! My now husband who is from Brazil and I started the process with Jay prior to getting married, he not only guided us with patients, expertise but also explained in detail of what to expect over the coming months. At every point in the process he was diligent on making sure we used all the options offered to us not only to expedite the process but to make sure everything that could be done was being done. Jay and team were always available to answer any questions or concerns that came up. We never had to wait for a email or phone response, he treated us like family! The work visa, travel permission and Green Card all came in without any issue. I would recommend Jay (and have ) to anyone who is looking for any immigration legal needs. He is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and has the most generous heart. Thank you Jay and Team for everything you did and still do for us we are forever grateful. read more

Words cannot express our appreciation and gratitude to Jay and his team for his work on our immigration process. We met with several other immigration attorneys after finally deciding to hire Jay and his law firm in 2016. We knew our situation would be very complex and take a long time to resolve. During this entire process, Jay and his team went above and beyond. They were always professional, communicated with us in a timely manner, and were always available to meet with us in person when we requested. When we met with Jay, we could tell he was prepared and did his due diligence on our case, even though several months had passed between meetings. We never felt as if we had to repeat ourselves. We always felt as if we were his priority when we sat in a meeting with him. His attorney fees were absolutely fair, and we were never surprised with any additional fees as our case dragged on due to the pandemic. Jay and his team were always prepared when we needed to appear, communicated with us well in advance so we could get any necessary documentation to them to file our paperwork, and always filed our paperwork on time to avoid unnecessary delays. Jay and his associates provided us with kindness, thoughtfulness, and what can be best described as peace of mind during one of the most stressful, long, and arduous times of our lives. If you are looking for an honest, experienced, professional immigration attorney, Jay should be the only person you contact. He will absolutely fulfill his promise to you and provide the best service. read more

If you are in need of an experienced immigration attorney that will provide you with results please call Jay Nunez his office and staff are not only professional but they are extremely knowledgeable about the current immigration laws. He helped a close family member of mine with his immigration matter and I can honestly say that no one else had gotten us to this point. We had been through so many attorneys that did nothing to move the case along his case was in limbo for over 15 years! Once we contacted Jay and met with him he got going on the matter. We right away saw results happening and fast forward about 3 years later or so they just received their oath appointment!! That's right his oath appointment something we never thought we would ever get a chance to see happen. When my family member called me to tell me about the appointment I was so overjoyed that it brought me to tears and I had to call Jay to thank him and tell him how happy we were with everything he had done for us and our family. We hope to celebrate by going on a family vacation once the current situation has subsided it was something we said we would do if this day ever came and I am so glad I am able to finally make that dream come true. Best of luck to everyone on their road to Citizenship I know it is not an easy one especially during these times but I can assure you that if Jay and his firm can get you there they will. Thanks again Jay! read more

I was looking for an Immigration Lawyer that was honest and trustworthy. I had already seen multiple of them and I did not feel comfortable. Jay was my last lawyer I had a consultation with. At first I was afraid because his office was really fancy and I thought oh goodness this is going to be really expensive. But when I got to meet Jay he was a very nice and honest person. He did not make promises he couldn't keep. What I like about him is he pretty straight forward but with a positive attitude. I started my husband's case in 2014 and finally he received his work permit 2019. It was a complicated case but Jay put all his effort and knowledge into this case. If you are looking for a Lawyer this is the place. Jay was always available for any questions or doubts. read more

First I would like to say I had given up all hope till I met with Jay Nuñez He was upfront and a straight shooter from the begining My wife is a Colombian National who had come to America on a fiancé visa to marry a different man things did not work out and they split, she was supposed to leave the country but ended up staying fast forward a year later we met and 2 years later married we were married 5 years before trying to adjust her status. Jay handled everything like a pro his team is the best in the business and were always there to answer questions and keep us updated. This is not a easy process dealing with a American embassy in a foreign country specially with a bad overstay and a 10 year ban. Its a very difficult thing to fix so be patient there are ways to make it as fast as possible we never had to resend any paperwork everything was done right the first time. I was very nervous about hiring a attorney but Jay soon made me a believer. My wife and I strongly recommend this firm for all Immigration needs just be patient and provide all information to the best of your knowledge to help your case. We are thankful to God & Nelson & Nuñez, PC PS Dont hesitate in getting started you will later thank me since this process takes time read more

I recently obtained U.S. citizenship in August of 2018. Throughout the time, Jay and his team were absolutely amazing and very professional and gave me the confidence that they would handle my case with the best of care. They put together a great package to present to the interviewing officer and always kept me informed as to what was going on. There was never a sense of doubt as to whether or not what I was being told was just to make me feel good or if it was honesty. Jay proved to be a very honest and capable man. He accompanied my wife and me to the interview as well. Thanks to Jay and the team (Jane was awesome! Great woman and easy to feel relaxed with). I was afraid that perhaps my request for citizenship would be denied but to my relief, everything went by very quick and smoothly. I STRONGLY recommend Jay Nunez as an immigration attorney to anyone looking for an honest, straightforward, experienced and dedicated attorney (he's the only attorney I've ever dealt with that has been truthful and engaged the entire time). Now my wife and I can enjoy staying together in the USA with our newborn son. Life is great and I have Jay and the team to thank! Go in and find out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. read more

Jay and the team are truly the best you can find in OC. My husband (fiance at that time) hired him several years ago when he was petitioning for my K1 visa. We never had to worry about a single thing, Jay made me feel confident accompanying me at the interviews. I would highly recommend Jay to anyone! read more
