I went up to the registers to pay, by the way everyone in this place, SUPER SWEET! A+ on customer service:) So i paid for my books which was a total of 46 books. (I know, i know, but im starting my kids library right). Anyways so while i was paying they asked if i wanted to purchase a plastic bag for $5 to go to another section in the front, where as many books you fit in that bag you're good to go! I'd be a fool if i didn't. I managed to fit 11 books in that bag, a pete the cat doll, a rocket puppy doll, a bracelet(ikr), and a finger pointer in. Insane right? Do i plan to go back? Yes sir! Do i recommend scholastic warehouse? Sure do. Tho idk i don't want everyone taking all the good deals now;) lol jk. Ohh, 1 warning tho. Giving you a heads up, or maybe a helpful tip?. Just last week was a book fair at my kids school. I swear i found 4 books that i purchased at the school for full price, there at the Warehouse for 50% off. My heart dropped, but on the bright side, you help the school out so it's ok. But that's how new and how wide their variety is.

Lots of shelves and books everywhere, but each shelf is home to specific categories of books, and there's LOTS of categories! Looking deeper at each collection, I was really impressed with the range of what I saw. I noticed these two super nice quality cookbooks and snagged them! I didn't realize at first, but the prices of the books seem to be marked in pencil on the first inside page or so, and I got a really good deal (imo!). I was in there for just a few minutes before the clerk/owner noticed me (he was busy in the back I think?) and turned on the AC and some cool music. :) That was appreciated, thank you!! I'll stop by again sometime. This feels like the place you should go to when you're not sure what you want, but you want a great price and rare find!!

Their selection of books is quite limited as well. Today I stopped by to pick up something and they aren't open, this wasn't the first time this has happened. There was no additional signage stating they'd be closed or for how long. According to the sign they were open until 4PM today. I called to see if there was a recording stating when they'd reopen, but there was no answer or recording. Very frustrating. I've had enough of their inconsistent hours, they've lost my business for good.

GSCB (Golden Springs Christian Bookstore) is at the corner front, inside the Calvary Chapel Golden…read moreSprings church but with separate entrance outside. This bookstore is open on weekdays (except Fridays). Staff (perhaps volunteers) are transparent and friendly, though some are not always warm as the others. There are quite a substantial amount of faith-based merchandise inside: from different bible versions (NLT, NKJV, KJV, NIV, ESV, NASB, Tyndale, etc) in different sizes; clothings; jewelry and accessories; bible covers and bags; notebooks and journals; study and commentary books; home decorative items; witnessing tracts; writing instruments and highlighters; as well as children's materials inclusive of toys, books, media items, etc. GSCB usually have "discount" on their items, thus, pretty affordable for purchase. We find ourselves regularly visiting GSCB to collect favorite items such as bibles we could share to friends, and bible verse-based merchandises like The Armor of God collections, Wings like Eagles, The Godly Women, and other interesting find for those who enjoy reading, and even decorating with inspiring or motivational texts. GSCB is open to everyone, not just to members of CCGS. That's what I like the most.

With one purchase, a pair of black Paige jeans, my wife tried to return the jeans after a few weeks (we travel a lot internationally and this was one of those times). The owner was VERY unpleasant and unwilling to take the jeans back for a credit (we didn't want a refund since we shop there a lot). Bad customer service, poor human interaction (she was sarcastic and rude, rolling eyes, etc.). My wife was respectful and is very gentle person (she is a therapist and good w/people) and was shaking when she got back from the store, so upset at how she was treated. My wife still has another credit that she refuses to claim there from something else as she refuses to go in the store. Buyer beware - inflexible, rude service despite nice products.

Years ago I was gifted a shirt and it is the only shirt that has not created massive discomfort due to the health issues I have. I have spent years attempting to find it and finally was able to locate that it was purchased through Cotton Heritage. Natalia helped me attempt to locate the design and shirt and connected me with Terri who was able to help me find the shirt and gain access to potential shirts that may do the same so that I can purchase and create ways for people like me to have safer and more comfortable experiences in their own bodies and clothing. I am beyond grateful and impressed with the customer service, level of care, kindness & compassion that I have received. Thank you so much!!!
