I called as one of the properties has been unhappy with the City of Vancouver's attitude about…read moreorganics pick up, especially since the building manager and owner have been concerned with pest control. Although we're doing all that we can for the owner and property manager about the pest control half the battles is the organics pick up and the cooperation which we feel we haven't been getting by the city, especially since both the owners and the property manager have been investing so much $$ on pest control services of most of the properties. Out of the awesomeness of my heart and 'cause these are good customers I've taken upon myself to do some research on some independent companies who can offer them some good organics pick up. Mike was actually the first out of the 4 companies I submitted soft specs to actually get back to me both phone and e-mail. I am a huge stickler for communication (often a huge pet peeve of mine if you read my other reviews), therefore, was impressed right away that he got back to me in a timely manner. We spoke for a good 5 minutes and he did a mini phone presentation with me. One of the things that they offer that the other companies does not offer is that they do a hot water wash of the bins so that there is no smell left behind which helps immensely with trying to control the pest control issue. In the initial quote they were willing to upgrade from a 32 L bin to a 64L bin which will help during the summer periods. Supposedly to compensate for the harsh winters we're to get a super hot summer which means rotting of food scraps at a faster rate compared to previous years = more attraction to rodents, therefore, this upgrade offer was super awesome by Mike. Mike provided us with the quote in just under an hour upon our conversation which was appreciated. Mike was really awesome with setting and putting the project and answering all my inquiries including Billing. Thank you.

A few weeks ago, my usually perfectly running laptop suddenly crashed and refused to boot up. I was…read moreespecially upset because I hadn't backed up any of my important data since July. As a longtime Geek Squad member, I was used to relying on them to fix my laptop and at least retrieve my files -- so I was shocked when I was told they wouldn't even look at it because it was "too old" (purchased in 2020!) for their technicians to bother with. Desperate, we contacted OnSite Geeks and spoke with Sam, the owner. Over the phone, he immediately reassured me -- not only would he do everything possible to get the laptop running, but he was confident he could recover my data. Because I live quite a distance from their shop, Sam even arranged for a technician to meet us at a mutually convenient location. Incredible service! Within a week, my laptop was fully repaired, running perfectly, and every bit of my data was restored. The price was very reasonable--and most notably it was the price quoted--not sudden fees added. And remarkably, Sam personally delivered the laptop back to me at the same meeting point, saving me the extra driving time once again. I truly cannot recommend OnSite Geeks enough. Honest communication, professional, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile -- literally! LysaD
