He always went the extra mile. For example, when I asked him to repair a broken VHS tape, he also digitized it without me asking. At another time, I asked him to clean packaging glue off of a CD, and he took the time to clean it so thoroughly that it worked perfectly, even though he had to clean it bit by bit every day because of the sturdiness of the glue and fragility of the CD. He always got the job done exactly as requested and then more. If your in Dallas/Addison, this is definitely the guy to go to for your home video/old school media/AV needs!! They have not responded to my email inquiries, and they do not have a phone number or address anywhere on their website. Honestly, that should have been enough to keep me from trying them out, but they were the only ones who carried the product I needed for a good price (another warning sign). Anyway, purchase at your own risk. From other reviews, it sounds like they do fulfill some orders, but I'm one of the unlucky ones whose paid order has simply been ignored. I love it & need to buy some more backdrops (to get more colors) Robin was very helpful as I am a beginning photographer (4 months in) & had questions about lighting in general! I did not get anything shipped but walking in I was helped within a reasonable amount of time & nothing issued to me was broken. My only (minor) complaint was the kits didn't come with directions. HOWEVER, they do have tutorials for a ton of setups on their youtube channel located on their website! Please keep in mind (as I was told by Robin) this store is moving to a new location (Richardson I believe) so call in before you drive out to make sure they're still located in Allen, TX! I would recommend this store as they had a big selection, were priced well & helpful.
