We took our car in for a diagnosis, and he gave us a very thorough report, including many helpful suggestions about an economical way to take care of the issues he found. We felt really well taken care of - and now we won't go anywhere else for car repairs. Thanks, Ricardo!!

BEWARE!! I took my truck here to get an oil change, roters and brakes changed. When i recieved my…read moretruck back i noticed the brakes were still grinding and squeaking, so i pulled over to check. Needless to say my roters looked just as bad as when i took it in to unique automotive. I then checked my dipstick and realized there was no oil registering on the dipstick... i instantly called the owner (Larry) directly and expressed my concerns. Larry assured me that everything that he charged me for had been done by him personally and the brakes he had installed had a lifetime warranty, he then told me that he would send me to another mechanic to get the warranty work done free of charge. I then called the mechanic for the warranty work and set up a date to get the work done. I had told the new mechanic that it looked to me that neither the brakes or rotors had been changed, after seeing the rotors they agreed and called AutoZone where the parts were supposedly purchased. AutoZone refused to cover the warranty due to the part numbers not matching up with what Larry had charged me anf put on my invoice. This business has no integrity. Beware for scam artists like Larry.

They continued to remain…read morecustomers after Charles bought the business because he was honest, transparent, professional and prompt. Steve's delivered quality and professional repairs on many cars for my parents and our family over the years. I would wager our family has spent tens of thousands of dollars over the decades at Steve's. As of today, we are all done and want to warn others. My nephew was overcharged and had mystery charges that Jeff, the new "general manager" refused to clarify. Jeff is rude, unprofessional in demeanor and presentation, and not at all general manager material. He is the stereotypical dishonest mechanic. I suspect he's strong arming Charles in a bid to either tank or take over the business. A small mechanic shop does not need a "general manager." All it takes is one bad apple to ruin a business, and that bad apple is, without a doubt, Jeff. Buyer beware. Jeff does not give a toss about this staple Longmont business, nor its customers. This general manager only cares about lining his pocket by hook or crook. There are some veteran owned mechanic shops in town. I will be encouraging my parents and our family to seek those businesses out. I wish Charles the best, but until he gets rid of Jeff Steve's is cooked.
