The seating is plentiful as they have main floor seating and upstairs seating. The bathrooms are for single person use which I love; well stocked, smelled good and nicely decorated!

If you're anywhere near the Missouri State Capitol and need a great place to stop, Red Wheel Steam…read moreHouse is an absolute win. It's an easy walk down the hill from the Capitol. Yes, the coffee is excellent -- well-crafted, smooth, and exactly what you want whether you're starting your day or taking a midday break (be sure to get a pastry or cookie, trust me on this!). But what really sets Red Wheel apart is that if you're not in the mood for coffee, you've got options. Their selection of alcoholic drinks makes this a perfect spot to transition from afternoon caffeine to early evening relaxation. Indoor seating is limited, but the ample outdoor seating more than makes up for it. Inside, the cozy space gives you a front-row seat to watch the barista work their magic, while also creating a great opportunity to chat with the owners and learn about the connected bike shop next door. Red Wheel Steam House strikes that perfect balance -- great coffee, flexible drink options, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're a local, a Capitol regular, or just passing through Jefferson City, this spot is worth the stop.

The actual building is very small and has limited seating and room. Therefore, the coffee comes in nice paper cups. There is a wonderful outside seating area and would be amazing in the warmer weather. The barista was so nice and very efficient making our drinks. There were several people and more who came in, and he handled the rush gracefully They also offer batista classes, which I think would be super cool for a couples or girls only outing.
