Hands down, THE BEST PIZZA WE'VE EVER HAD!!!
Okay. You may guess that after 80 years old, we've traveled to many cities over the years. That's true. And at some point during these away-from-home adventures we've dined at a plethora of dining establishments. Being budget conscious occasionally, our excursions have guided our palettes to 'reliable' standards like hamburgers, sandwich joints and - of course - pizza parlors.
For the most part, at our age, we've been turned off my the heavy-handed salt-dispensing chef who may or may not believe 'salt' is their go-to enhancing ingredient! ('Cause their ingredients are not top notch?)
Of course, those of us with even a regular palate know better. It's all the other, intelligent culinary combinations of ingredients that make a REALLY great meal: the balance of each mating with the others to create 'a marriage in heaven' taste honeymoon.
After eating, we all should have gone to the kitchen and showed our worshipping bows for the BALANCE of favors that made us almost cry in glee! Oh ye chef! Brilliant! (The owner of this establishment is one smart cookie!)
Each of the members at our table ordered a different kind of pizza. One had deep-dish Hawaiian (pineapple and ham); another had regular crust, double mushroom with Italian sausage and our last couple had a pepperoni, green pepper, onion and black olives on thin crust.
Of course we shared bites and tastes from each of the pies: EVERY BITE OF EACH OF OUR PIZZAS WAS OUTSTANDING.
Added note: this place was buzzing with a very happy crowd. By the way: the entire room played Trivia (Family Feud style) with winners having percentages of their orders discounted! FANTASTIC FUN ! ! read more
