Presley did an excellent job! Very responsive company, reasonable estimate, arrived in a timely manner and were in and out in less than an hour. I would absolutely work with Green Hauling again in the future. read more

Green hauling was exactly what you hope for from a local company - friendly, well priced, and fast! I called about a yard debris box, and they had it at my door in less than an hour. Presley also worked with me over the phone to understand my needs and the best and most cost effective solution to get rid of the materials. Would definitely recommend Green Hauling, and I'll be using them again in the near future! read more

Presley and Miguel were both wonderful to work with from start to finish.  Presley answered all my questions and returned responses in a timely manner.  We had a large disposal job to tend to and they were on time, helpful, flexible and thorough.  Presley went above and beyond with some hands-on assistance as well as making sure my family was satisfied with the end result of the job.  Both gentlemen were personable and professional.  Thank you for making a challenging and time crunched situation easier to address! read more

We needed a large dumpster quickly and our local garbage company was over a week out and expensive for how big of a dumpster we needed. I called/texted Green Hauling and Presley was great. Super helpful and accommodating. They even delivered the empty dumpster on Thanksgiving morning! Highly recommend! read more

Just had a great experience with Presley. Gave me a cost range over the phone and stayed within it. Very patient with our details and directions to our house. He also stayed in touch to keep us updated on timing. So great to work with the person who gives you the ballpark as well. Neat appearance, well organized and strong/hard working. Easy 5 stars. Bonus to find a group that helps try to find extended use for still useful things. Had a tough time with Salvation Army and Goodwill even scheduling a drop let alone a pick up. Green Hauling came in the scheduled time and was worth the cost. Thanks. read more

There is a reason these guys have almost a hundred 5-Star reviews. Great service, and they utilize technology effectively - you can call, text or email them - they respond quickly - and they work with you to get you what you need. I ordered a debris box. I am a homeowner. My deadlines were tight because I was moving in 10 days (everybody moves in Spring time) and needed a box for a week. Recology - our main garbage people, could not accommodate because their time-frames were too tight for the size of box we needed. Green Hauling worked out fine. I had never done something like this before. Presley - the operations manager - made it happen, and even called me after-hours to assure me that a box would be forthcoming read more

Kevin was very accommodating when helping me assess my needs even as I kept waffling between dumpster sizes. Over the course of a week before the dumpster was delivered, the piles of junk at a house clean out changed dramatically as some items were given away on Nextdoor and as I kept finding more and more junk to get rid of along with the last minute decision to tear down an old falling apart shed. (You would think the shed would have been first on the "chuck it" list, right? But you get acclimated to seeing things in the landscape of your home that you don't even realize how inconvenient and inefficient those things are.) Kevin accurately estimated the dumpster size that I would need based on the many photos I texted him and delivered it when he said he would. I completely filled it - it was the perfect size. It was also super convenient that I was able to have the dumpster for a week so I didn't feel rushed to get the project done. Super great service and company! read more

Lotsa 5* ratings...smaller jobs? The good: Clear estimate. Cheapest price. Polite. The bad: They knew job reqd multiple truck loads, but didn't arrange sufficient help or trucks. Started at 1pm. Stopped at 4pm. Filled truck. Couldn't return for 1 week. 2nd visit: Worked 1:30pm - 4:30pm. 2nd truck. Didn't finish again. Said couldn't return for 3 weeks!! Had to hire GH's competitor to finish job, which they did next day in 2 hours. Suggestion: Do not pay anything until job is done or you may be waiting weeks. read more

Ok start with the good. Very responsive. I called to order a pick up and gave a phone estimate of what needed to be picked up. They show up within a four hour window. Very friend guys. The drawback and reason for the lower rating. They claimed I had half a load worth of stuff 7 cubic yards. But it was a guess. No real before or after measurement so there was no real way to tell or dispute. The truck was not empty when they started. I paid which was simple enough, but I felt they were getting over on me. I've rented dumpsters plenty of times but I needed a service this time. It was more expensive but easier. If money is no object definitely used these guys. If it is then check before they start loading and after. read more

I just had a wonderful experience and had to type out a review right away. When I called them I tried to describe to the best of my ability the kind of work that they were in for. I had about 8 large Home Depot bags filled to the brim with dirt, rocks, and other garbage I found in my planter (put their by a previous owner). We agreed on an estimated price and a 2 hour window of when I would be expecting them. Admittedly there was a small hiccup in that an employee became ill, making them short handed, but they managed to keep very close to the 2 hour window. Greg was the employee who had come to pick up the dirt. Prior to him coming, he had called to confirm what he would be dealing with. I thought that I made things convenient for him by having the dirt all ready in bags and that all he had to do was just roll them into the truck. What I didn't know until he pulled up was that the bags that I had the dirt in were not meant to actually hold dirt. I half excepted Greg to want to reschedule for another time, because he would have to do a ton of work to get all the bags into his truck or charge me more for the inconvenience. But he set right to work doing what needed to be done and even cleaned up some of the dirt that I had spilled when I filled the bags. On top of that, he agree to the price that I was quoted. I really appreciate Greg for what he did and now my area looks great. I highly recommend this place. read more

I found Green Hauling on Yelp, they had good reviews and a coupon so what the heck. I needed to hire them to haul a pile of stuff from a friends house in another city. They were true to their word, showed up on time, called me with an exact quote before they started, called again to let me know that they isolated a box of paint cans that needed to be recycyled. What's not to like. Extra points for being friendly and responsible. read more

They are not responsive to calls or texts after the initial "Sure! What do you need done?" reply. Kind of hard when you are willing to pay whatever to get you junk removed. Luckily there are a lot of other companies in Marin who are more on the ball. read more

My second visit from Green hauling. I am a happy customer. These guys show up on time, carry it away fast, and charge a reasonable fee. Presley and Kevin did the work today and they were fast, and effective. read more

There are serious issues with this company. I did 4 debris boxes with them, and with every single box, there was some kind of problem. They didn't drop off when they said they would. They didn't pick up when we scheduled together. They dropped the wrong box. They don't have a license to put boxes in the street in San Francisco, and they didn't seem to know they needed one: they got a $1200 ticket which they tried -- illegally, according to the city -- to dump on me. They sent heavy boxes (for concrete, brick, and earth), but then each time claimed it wasn't a heavy box, so hit me with hundreds of dollars in overweight charges. The drivers are nice, and Kevin in dispatch is pleasant, that gets them 2 stars. But the company is incompetent and borderline dishonest. Keep looking. read more

I have summoned Green Hauling's Greg Wilhelm three times in the past few years to save me from large and unwieldily items that take up too much space in my home. (Sadly, he refused to take my husband.) Greg is fast. Greg is strong. Greg is kind. Greg conducts his company ethically and responsibly. His pride in his work is palpable. I am 100% sold on Green Hauling. Thank you Greg!!! read more

Today was my second time calling Green Hauling. I love this company. They're prompt and speedy as hell. Greg came by to haul out our stuff both times. He answered our call on the first ring and arrived right when he said he would. No "window" wait time! I have 50+ stairs at my place, and had four or five trips worth of stuff. He was in and out (including parking the big truck on our very narrow street steep hill) in thirty minutes. The price was very fair. The best in Marin from my internet sleuthing! His demeanor was cheerful, friendly, and professional, and he is SO cute to boot! I will definitely call Green Hauling again next time my hoarding gets out of hand. read more

I am unsure on what to say because it appears like everyone who has written a review before me has highlighted the goods on this service. * Reliable service * Affordable Pricing * Punctual * Hard working * Speedy Service If you need your stuff hauled out call Greg!!!! read more

Doing the Marie Kondo clean-up at our home and trying to clear out some of the stuff crowding our place (and our psyches!). Wonderful experience--completed in less than 2 hours. Presley was great: professional, efficient, responsive and friendly. Would use again in a minute and will definitely be referring them. I also like the fact that they recycle as much as they can (my carbon footprint is already large enough as it is!). Thanks again to Presley and Frank! read more

Called on a Friday afternoon and was able to schedule a Saturday morning appointment. Presley was very accommodating and efficient. Prices were better than the "National" brands out there. They recycle as much as possible rather than tossing it all at the dump. Saw that they also were volunteering at the National Parks to help clean up due to the Gov't Shutdown last week, way to go!!!! I'll be calling them back to clean out the junk in my garage for this years Spring Cleaning!!! read more

Green Hauling was not only clearly experienced at their work, they expertly suggested ways they could be more thorough in accomplishing the clean up tasks I asked of them. And I admire their focus on recycling where possible, plus they were reasonable and on time read more

Thank you Greg! Green hauling is the best! First let me say we had a very large and difficult job. My parents lived in their home for 46 years and collected things, lots of things. After about 10 debris boxes we had had enough. I called on a Sunday just to leave a message and Greg answered the phone. He ended up coming out and giving us an estimate that day. His estimate was cheaper than the ones our realtor had gotten. Greg is full of ideas on how to dispose of certain things and where. He even called places for us. He then started the job the very next day and stuck with it till the finish. I don't know how he accomplished all he did in such a short period of time. It was NOT an easy job. He hauled trash large and small and recycled what he could. I would gladly recommend Green hauling for any job, large or small. They are the best... read more

I had a baby three days before I called Green Hauling. I couldn't haul anything away on my own as there were obvious other responsibilities I needed to attend to. I called Green Hauling and spoke with Greg, who answered his phone while on vacation mind you, he fit me in the following day and had one of his techs come to my house. The technician that came was more than a gentleman. He was right on time and made quick and clean work of the junk pile I had (mostly old flooring we pulled up to lay carpet) I would recommend Green Hauling to anyone in need of hauling services. They are 100% reliable, trustworthy, and the best part is their very competitive pricing. I personally couldn't find a better deal... Thanks Greg and I'm sure you will hear from us again! read more

Greg, Kevin and the crew at Green Hauling are the best! Moving and dealing with junk is never fun, but these guys made it so much easier. Excellent customer service, professional, fair price and nice. Can't ask for more. They arrived on time, and exceeded my expectations. There were no hidden costs, and everyone in the company is friendly and so easy to work with. Cannot say enough about this great company. read more

I just finished building my house, and after four years there was a lot of construction debris, mainly wood. Kevin at GH arranged for Josh and Jeffrey to come out and load it up in their 20 yd. debris box, and take it to the recycling center in San Rafael. It all took about 2.5 hrs., but there was so much to be hauled away, I had them come out the next day and take another 10 yds. to finish the job. They were on time, and worked hard, and separated out some odds and ends I wanted to save. The price was reasonable, and it was almost the same as renting a debris box and loading it up myself. I'm glad I used, them, and highly recommend them. read more

Green Hauling was our life saver! We were moving from a house we had lived in for five years and VASTLY underestimated the amount of junk (and stamina) we had to take care of it. With just two days left to clear out our packed garage, my husband called Greg, and the next day, like magic our stress (and crapola) were gone!! Punctual Very fair pricing So Fast Highly recommended! read more

Greg and his business rocks! Very friendly and easy to deal with, Greg wasn't able to make our pick up time. He scheduled our pick up for the next day and gave us a great discount...totally worth it! That showed me that he really cares about the customer and not his "bottom-line". Wow! That's rare these days! So with that being said, I give this business my upmost recommendation and will use them in the future! read more

I would definitely use these guys again. They were professional, responsive, and really pleasant to work with. Joshua and Kevin loaded an entire 20 yd container quickly and with good humor. I majorly underestimated the volume of stuff we had, but they weren't fazed by it and even kept updating me on pricing as the box got fuller. They also managed to navigate narrow, confusing dirt roads in western Sonoma County. (One thing to note is they do not accept household toxics or lightbulbs. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand.) Overall, recommended. read more

Professional, friendly, and honest are just a few adjectives that come to mind in describing my experience with this excellent company. Joshua and Ben helped sort, clear, and CLEAN my garage in a manner both efficient and honest. Just how honest? I needed to toss a broken printer but before doing so, Ben asked a few questions about the nature of the problem and then promptly told me how to FIX it. It doesn't get more honest than that. My experience couldn't have been better and my garage has never looked more organized. And if you're not sold yet, you will be hard pressed to find better pricing in Marin. Thanks again! I have used these guys on a big construction project with great results. Recently, I used them on a smaller project and they left some stuff behind even though the truck was not full. I had some logs and brush on my roadside that I needed hauling so I called Green Hauling. They were easy to deal with on the phone and made an early appointment for a job that was far away and of uncertain scope. They showed up with the right equipment that made the job easier than I expected. Once Joshua and Jeffery arrived they said "no problem" and went straight to work. They were good sports about going into the woods to bring out logs and debris that need to be hauled away. They gave me a fair price for fast and willing work. OMG. My experience with Green Hauling was amazing. David, Jeffrey, and Josh showed up and cleaned out 15 years of junk from our Bernal Heights garage. They performed this service in an efficient manner with smiles on their faces. I was unable to get my neighbors to clear their cars so they could set up their truck properly, but they worked around that without a glitch. Even when unreasonable people were rude and impatient with the placement of the truck, their response was always professional and courteous. They did a dirty job with amazing humor and grace and you'd be a fool not to hire them. Their hard work made me look like the hero in my family. Hire Green Hauling! read more
