Ordered dinner from them, it was my first time. Food was delicious. Went to pick up my food, there was a 15 or 16 year old boy working there. I paid him for my food but then was appalled when he demanded I tip him. I have worked in the service industry myself for 20 years and never has anyone demanded to be tipped. A tip is earned not guaranteed. When you provide a service then the guest can decide whether they want to tip you or not. Unfortunately the boy didn't provide a service of any kind, he didn't even bag my food. I'm appalled at the service I received, not sure if I will be going back. Kid needs to learn his manners and stop demanding money. read more

I just placed an order to the Green Dragon by phone and it will probably be ready by the time I'm finished writing this. Their speedy, professional service has never been a let down. This small town has several Chinese restaurants and ever since this one sprung up it has blown the competition away. A definite favorite amongst locals for take out or eating in. This isn't a fine dining experience by any means, although there is ample seating and classic 'lucky waving cat' decor. The food is average 'Chinese' fare similar to that of many other Asian restaurants of the same caliber so I cannot give a full 5 stars. However I have yet to be disappointed with any menu option and have had no errors. If you're in the Morrisville area and you want Chinese, this is the place. read more

This is amazingly good Chinese for the little Vermont town of Morrisville, I've lived in NYC so I know Chinese. I've been taking out food here for about eight years and I am always truly grateful that his place continues to churn out outstanding food in what otherwise is a wasteland for decent ethnic food in this part of Vermont. Service is great, although they can get quite busy early Friday evening. You can eat here, but really it's mostly a take out place. I've eaten in here for lunch a few times and I enjoy the owners kids hanging out, over the years I've seen them grow up and now they are helping out running the place. But the real focus here is quality Chinese takeout food. The shrimp dishes feature a real abundance of very nice size shrimp which they marinate/brine so they are really quite tasty. I've noticed that the veggies are always fresh, none of that nasty pale navy green broccoli that you get at other places. Some of my favorites are the House Special Fried Rice, Chicken and Broccoli, any of the Shrimp dishes, Cold Sesame Noodles, and the Singapore Noodles. They will also cook to order, they can reduce the sodium or oil at your request although that is usually not necessary. All is all this is a gem of a little take out place, I hope they never change. read more

Hands down the best Chinese food we've ever had. We would give this restaurant infinity stars. We've been all over United States and this is by far the best, and always fresh. Now I'm not saying the food is amazing or anything - because really it was Americanized Chinese food - but what it was was an incredibly good deal. I'm sure if I lived in the area I would come here frequently for some take out Chinese. First of all, you are served green tea for free when you eat in. Now I have seen this before, but usually at "nicer" places, so this was a surprise for me. The tea was actually very good. Then, for under $10, you can get one appetizer (a smaller portion appetizer) and one of a rather large selection of entrees. Pretty good deal! The food was pretty much Americanized Chinese food - not authentic but great when you're craving it. I actually really liked the eggplant dish. The portions are also pretty large - we had a good bit of left overs at the end of the night! All in all, this perfectly fits the niche of take out Chinese and does it well. read more

Apparently the locals don't get out much. This has to be the worst Chinese I've ever ate hands down. Next time Ill try Wok N Roll or stick with the buffet in town. For my reason, well my pork fried rice tasted like propane or straight up burnt, I still have the nasty taste in my mouth. My general tso's chicken wasn't even cooked all the way through, meat was reddish, noticed after about 4 pieces, about an hour later getting dizzy and a head ache. Better not be food poisoning, to top it off the chicken fingers were cold after a 3 minute walk back to the office. WORST CHINESE EVER! read more

In town for a softball tournament, not from the area. Appearance wise the restaurant would be more a 2, possibly 3... small, pretty old, etc. But it was clean enough and the food was actually very good for the price. Not too expensive, the basic menu for "American" Chinese. We tried the rice, lo mein, crab rangoon, beef teriyaki, chicken finger, and Szechuan pork. All delicious. For a small town with several Chinese places to eat at, this is the one you want to choose. Don't be fooled by the rustic interior, the food is great. I've only done take out and my order is always ready by the time I drive over there. Orders are always correct, ingredients fresh, and portions are generous. I often ask for certain ingredients to be left out and they always do it. This is just because I'm picky about the veggies I'll eat. They're good at customizing your fried rice order in this way. The kitchen is fully visible from the counter and looks very organized and clean. Don't make the mistake of eating at the other Chinese places in town, they're terrible. I give this 4 stars and not 5 only because it is American style Chinese. The interior decor is poor, but the landlord is mostly responsible for that state of affairs. They're doing the best they can, decor wise, with what they've got. read more

This is our go-to for take-out Chinese. Their online ordering system is really convenient, but we usually just walk in and order on the spot. I love their sesame noodles and chicken with eggplant. Have to disagree with all those people who say they know Chinese and say this place is good. Everything was in the same overly-sweet "house brown" sauce. Three stars is charitable, but I'm taking into account the location and other Chinese nearby. This place is alright for rural Chinese, but by no means good or excellent. The waitress clearly did not want to be there; the service was almost a mockery of poor restaurant service; I have to wonder if the waitress was the child of an owner or something and being forced to work there. Toward the end of our meal, someone was smoking cigarettes in the back, which you could smell over your food and the whole restaurant. read more

Have been going to this place for a couple years and have always questioned the quality of their food. I finally had all my suspicions confirmed yesterday. I ordered some chicken wings and when I got them I took one bite and something didn't taste right. I looked at the meat and it was pink. Raw-pink. I looked closer and found that literally every single wing had little feather leftovers and what looked like hair on it. Every single one. So disgusting. I threw all of them away.
