They regularly send pictures and videos - check out their homemade promotional videos on their website. They keep the dogs out for at least an hour and a half - football, swimming, literally an obstacle course. When they drop my guy off, they towel him down, give him a treat out of the freezer and write a sweet note reporting the day's fun in the sun. I come home from work around 7 to find Bear sleeping on his day bed, treat enjoyed, and his ears crimped from salt water. Weekends I'm out of town, Jon and Jonlyn take him home after Friday's play group and (after lovingly feeding and exercising him with their own goldens Jade and Boone) drop him off Sunday night or Monday after school. My Bear is loving life, stronger and faster than ever, and great friends with his pals from school. The fact that this is a pair of sisters is great; there is always a backup walker available. Our dog doesn't LIKE new people - she will often bark/growl at them and/or guard me from them when they enter the house. Jodi came in, sat down, and my dog was suddenly on her back on Jodi's lap asking for a belly rub. So saying our dog likes Jodi would be just a bit of an understatement. ;) We've only been clients for a month and a half, but are quite pleased. Licensed, insured, runs a true business, and has great references. We particularly like the reliability and notes that Jodi leaves. Two paws up. Edit: Now we've been clients for 3 years!!!

Pet Sisters will board your dog for weekends, extended vacations, or even just overnight. Once I called Elke, she made a date to come over to my house to go over every aspect of what was needed for each pet in our house ( we have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 bird and 2 aquariums) . She wrote down every small detail from feeding, play activites, particular needs and personality quirks of each animal and their likes and dislikes. My pets love Elke. She is able to handle the finicky cat, including giving her medicine as well as the over exuberant 2 year old golden retriever to the fussy and unpredictable deaf and almost blind 14 year old Westie. She can also understand the more complicated aquariums as well as water plants both inside and out. Now that I have used Elke for almost 2 years, I feel so secure and relaxed when I am away. I know that my "babies" and other animal friends are being taken care of and treated the way I treat them and not some after thought . I no longer have to worry that the pet sitter is not actually staying over and spending the evening with the menagerie; no more worries that instead of my dogs being inside at night they were actually in the back yard barking all night for several nights in a row while the back door was left unlocked. When I return home, the animals are happy and look well cared for. The house is neat and clean and the plants are thriving. Elke leaves a detailed list of every thing she has done and the animal's responses to various activites for each day that we were on vacation. I feel so fortunate that I have found Elke and now I can totally relax when my family is away and know that the very important members of our family who had to stay home are still having a good time and our safe and not hungry , thirsty or just bored.

My husband and I feel like we hit the dog-walker jackpot…read more We were really looking for a one or two person dog walking operation that would really care for Lois, that we could trust, and that would give her the exercise she needs. But we got SO MUCH MORE. After being rejected by a dog walker who felt Lois, our 11lb Shih Tzu, was too shy and fearful, we were referred to Juliana and Cynthia. Juliana and Cynthia didn't see Lois's shyness as a problem. They knew she'd open up. And boy did she ever. She now LOVES to play with other dogs. Not only does Lois get to play with her pack mates for most of the week, on Fridays she goes on hikes with the big dogs, which she also LOVES. While I love that they have a little dog group (especially in the beginning when I was more worried about her), I also love that she can hang with the big guys and get more comfortable with them in a safe environment. We've also left Lois with them in May for boarding. I usually worry a lot about Lois when we go out of town, I worry she doesn't get enough attention, or enough exercise, etc. But when we left her with Juliana and Cynthia, I wasn't worried at all. I got daily pictures showing how much fun she was having. And I knew she was getting tons of exercise and love. It's worth every penny and I will likely leave her with them from now on (vs. my neighbors who watch her for free, just because she gets better care and attention with Juliana and Cynthia). I also love that Lois gets walked by the same two people every time. And with generally the same pack. It creates consistency and makes my pup that much more comfortable. I've had friends who have told me that when they're home their dog doesn't want to go out with the walker. Not with Juliana and Cynthia. Even if both my husband and I are home, she runs to the door, shakes her bum-bum, and essentially peaces out without looking back. The most important thing about Juliana and Cynthia is that we trust them 1000% with our baby. I know the big dog group is safe for Lois because they all have perfect energy and temperaments, and because Juliana and Cynthia wouldn't have it any other way. I know that if Lois gets too tired or too hot, they'll pick her up and carry her or put water on her to cool her off. Juliana and Cynthia have such great energy which I believe is why they are so successful, why the dogs and humans all love them, and why their packs are so balanced and stable. I know Lois loves them as much as she does her own parents (which makes me both happy and sad), and I'm pretty sure they love her just as much as we do. My only complaint is that they won't let me come on the dog walks with them ;)
