Horrible experience. Dr Patel and her crew are a total scam. They tried to pressure me into $2,000 of xrays before they did any cleaning. Then had me come for 3 sessions to "consult" before telling me that it would cost $3500 for a basic cleaning and trying to pressure me in to a more expensive plan. I've never experienced a con artist before, but now I have. They are clearly good at internet marketing (how they got me). Note the number of reviews (but with strangely the same profile images in many of the reviews). This is a total scam. I'm amazed that insurance companies and / or medical regulators haven't taken a closer look at this "practice". Stay away! And I'm sure they will reply to my review with pablum about "valuing customer feedback and striving to better." I was charged a total of $1,906 for a CBCT scan and airway/TMJ analysis package (with $1,201 paid so far and a remaining balance of $705). While I understand specialized services can cost more, I had concerns about the lack of a clear, itemized breakdown for these charges when I requested it. When I asked questions about pricing and what was included, I was directed to schedule phone calls rather than receiving answers in writing. I also experienced a billing discrepancy where a $951 charge was attempted, even though my remaining balance showed $705. As part of doing my own research, I found other providers offering CBCT imaging and airway evaluations at significantly lower costs (in my case, around $650), which made it harder for me to understand the pricing difference without clear explanation. Additionally, my initial visit was stressful due to difficulty locating the office. The address and directions were not clear or updated on their site and they stated they moved back in October 2025, and I was unable to reach anyone for assistance while trying to find the location. While the practice presents as caring, my overall experience felt disorganized and lacked the level of transparency and communication I was hoping for. Because of these concerns, I chose not to continue care and sought a second opinion elsewhere. Please read all of the 1 star reviews-- they are all correct. Dr. Patel is a scam artist. The first time I came to her office, she gave me a plan to improve my teeth that cost the exact amount my dental insurance would cover. She essentially looked up how much my insurance would cover and worked backwards to make a plan that would pay her out the maximum amount. Since I would pay nothing out of pocket, she probably thought it was an easy sell. I came in just for a cleaning and have excellent teeth. No prior dentist has ever recommended treatments for me. There was another occasion where her sales team tried to sell me on a treatment, presented a legal paper for me to sign, and when I took out my phone to take a picture of the paperwork, her salesperson quickly took the paper away and said I can't take a picture...if you have nothing to hide, why couldn't I take a picture of your sales paperwork? I guess they don't want written proof of their scam tactics. Another time I came in for a cleaning, and was charge for it. My insurance always pays 100% of my cleaning, and had done so for the numerous times I got cleanings at this office. I told her it must be a mistake, but they gaslit me and charged me anyways. I later checked my insurance portal and saw that they had billed me twice for the one cleaning. I have no way of knowing for sure whether this was an honest mistake, but given her scammy nature and all other 1 star reviews, I am confident that they had double billed me on purposed. Dr. Patel comes off as nice and caring, but all she cares about is scamming you out of money. If you are reading this review and considering visiting her office, I strongly advise you to stay away. read more

TLDR: read the 70+ other 1-star reviews & FIND ANOTHER DENTIST I'm embarrassed to say that I unfortunately got suckered by this practice to the tune of almost $20K, but I am hoping that sharing my mistake will save others from going down the same road. I reached out for an assessment of my dental alignment and potential treatment, as the website promises expert skill in addressing these. My appointment started with a 'tour' of the office (a monologue of how successful, amazing, and generous Dr. Patel is, along with a signed copy of her book). I was charged more than $2400 for an 'initial exam' (x-rays and photographs to determine my 'treatment plan' and a 2-night home sleep study). This seemed high to me. I now know that it is about 3-4x what most skilled dentists would charge for an equivalent exam. For example, at my new dentist, I was given all the same tests, as well as several important assessments that Dr. P did not do, and a 3-night sleep study - for $750. In terms of treatment, I was told that it would cost over $28,000 (in addition to the 'initial exam') for the Vivos treatment Dr. P recommended. (They knocked $5K off when I balked, to $24,450) Sadly, I ended up going through with signing on since I was now scared that I needed to jump on this scary diagnosis (Dr. P said I could 'die ten years earlier' if I didn't get treatment). The office required a $5K deposit plus a monthly payment of more than $1K before starting treatment. I started payment in Aug 2023 and was charged monthly, even though the 'treatment' didn't begin until November (translation: I had paid more than $10K before we even started). In November I was handed a Vivos appliance at a brief office visit (an appliance listed at a cost of under $2K on Vivos' own retail pricing sheet), and told to come back in 3 months for a check-in. These every-3-month 'treatments' consisted of Dr. Patel spending 5-10 minutes with me, saying 'You look great! Keep going!' (for this I was charged $1K+/month, or about $3K per 'treatment'). After my 3rd 'treatment' visit (July 2024), and after expressing concerns numerous times that were not addressed, I called the office to terminate treatment. Dr. Patel verbally and in writing assured me I would receive a refund for the 'remaining services' (the 2+ years of 'treatment' I had not yet received, though I had at this point paid more than 70% of their total treatment plan, over $16K). They sent me a ridiculously miscalculated 'refund' check that represented a small percentage of what I was owed. Sadly, I am not the only one to fall for this scam. PLEASE read the 70+ other 1-star reviews here on Yelp and take them seriously. Green Dentistry is corrupt, deceitful, and takes advantage of the holistic title. To those who have had a similar experience, please consider reporting this practice to the dental board and the BBB as I am, to protect others. As terrible as my experience was with Green Dentistry, the silver lining is that I have found a great new dentist who is fairly priced, addresses my concerns immediately, and has provided real treatment that has significantly improved my alignment issues in a number of months (not years as Dr. P insisted it would take). read more
