I have problematic teeth with many cavities and older, bad quality fillings that needed replacing. My teeth have always been a problem, and going to the dentist always was a negative scary experience for me which led to delays in resolving the issues and worsening of the cavities. Dr. Amini is the first dentist I have felt completely safe and comfortable with. His ability to explain each issue and corresponding solution, focus on long term teeth health (both in preventative care or in solving existing issues) transparency is a relief for me as an anxious patient. Absolutely love this place because of solid service, great reception, and location, location, location. Always a pleasure talking on the phone with Alex and setting up an appointment is really easy. I also get timely reminders for appointments and getting insurance squared away was a breeze! I've been here for xrays, check-ups, and gum measurements (not sure the scientific name for them?) and they've all been relatively pain-free, which is, let me tell you, rare. It goes without saying that Dr. Ngo is the best in the biz: super-friendly and relatable and cares deeply for her patients. I appreciate that she gives me advice for how to take care of my teeth in the 180 days between check-ups. She's an absolute baller. This place looks like it took over location from a mini-golf course; it feels like you're in a cave, but like a modernistic one that doesn't make you feel claustrophobic? I went to CitiDent twice for teeth cleaning. I came here because it is very closed to where I work, very convenient. 1st time: the dentist kept recommending me to get crowns for my front teeth, total cost after insurance would be around $9,000. I kept saying I didn't want those, couldn't afford those, obviously I only came in for a dental cleaning today, the dentist still draged a staff here to go over possible payment plans with me. 2nd time: I came here for dental cleaning, one of my teeth felt senstive with cold water, and the dentist took a look but couldn't find any problems, no cavities or anything, then he pushed me to buy a $20+ flouride toothpaste for $40 (Brand name Fluoridex). I cancelled all the following appointments right after that visit. I was referred to CitiDent by a tech at Uniform Teeth and literally had a life-changing experience with Dr. Ngo. I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive at first because 1) it's the dentist (haha) and 2) the location. However, when I first walked into the office, I felt so welcomed. Everyone is always friendly. The office is very clean, modern and definitely not scary looking like some dental offices. The music playing throughout the office is also a pretty nice touch. I cannot express my gratitude for how much Dr. Ngo has done for me. I knew I found the right dentist when I voiced my concerns and she said "Girl, I got you." She really meant that. She took care of everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) we talked about. It was a lonnnnnngggg journey but it was definitely worth it! I don't have to turn to my "good side" in photos and I am no longer the little silver-fillings-galore-toothed gremlin kid I once was. LOL. She's like my own Paolo from Princess Diaries - IYKYK. I went for a first time appointment after not going to the dentist for 14 months (busy, pandemic, etc). I knew that they don't do the cleaning right away which worried me a little but the reviews were so good I thought I'll give them a try. Pros: the facility is very nice, modern, clean. The camera they use to see all your teeth is cool. Cons: I was shocked when the dentist told me that I have pre-periodental disease and needed to have a deep cleaning which would be painful and need anesthesia (you have to make 2 appointments - one for each side of the mouth). He also told me I need braces right away and questioned me when I told him I floss daily (I'm not a liar!). The last part was what made me question him, he was pretty patronizing. I decided to get a second opinion so I went for a cleaning at another, less fancy dentist who told me yes I had a lot of tartar build up but if I get back on regular appointments I'd be fine and I don't need the deep cleaning. I won't be back at Citident because I suspect they're just trying to squeeze money out of patients with extra unnecessary services. read more

Staff is incredibly helpful and very skilled at what they do: appointments are made within seconds, numerous reminders sent out, and check in texts sent the day of.
