Hello! I don't like to speak negatively, although I must share my family's extremely disappointing experience with this business to warn potential customers. My dear mother recently dropped-off her one-of-a-kind Eillen Fisher scarf to be dry-cleaned. Note: it is valued at over $200. When my father went in to pick it up, he didn't think it would be necessary to check that it was the correct item. Once brought home, my mother saw it and immediately realized they had been given A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ITEM. It was OBVIOUSLY nothing at all like her original garment. It was made of a cheap material, dingy, dirty, had a large stain on it, and even had an unusual brand's tag on it. She and my father went in to return it, thinking she was given the wrong scarf accidentally. She asked for her scarf back. Jeferson kindly looked around, but could not locate it. He suggested she call the manager, Franco. She called Franco. He told my mother SHE must have it and to go look for it at home. He mentioned he would look around the shop just in case it was there. My folks have been back asking for her scarf, called, and left messages about this issue. Franco will not return calls to make it right. STAY AWAY from Green Cleaners. They might not give you back what you drop off, tell you it's YOU who lost it, IGNORE you, and hope you will just go away. If this business wants to make it right, they will. We still have hope, but in the meantime, you should NOT step foot in there. read more

I used to come here because it was inexpensive comparing with other cleaners but I guess you get what you pay for... they are nice enough but the quality of service not too great. One major gripe of mine is that they refused to fold sweaters before hanging them on the hangers. They would just hang sweaters like any other shirt/blouse by the shoulders. This resulted in sweaters being deformed and stretched out basically damaged. I pleaded with them for so long to not hang sweaters this way. Their response was that this was their standard way of hanging sweaters and one would need to make a special request to fold them first. This is down right stupid. Why would a customer need to ask a cleaner not to damage their clothes???? It's so backwards. I think that their standard way is just a lazy way. I have left this business and moved away end found another inexpensive cleaners and guess what?! They do things right! Not only are my sweaters folded when being hung. They also put in a tissue inside.. so nice and professional. The green cleaners should learn from them that a little extra effort goes a long way . Is it more important for you to save a couple pennies or keep loyal paying customers. I have been coming to this cleaners for years when it was $1.75 cleaners. I have continued to visit this place but now its no longer $1.75 per garment and the quality is definitely not the same. Today I picked up my five garments four where Tommy Bahama shirts. I guess the tag had fallen off of one of them so they did find it. Then I inspect my slacks and they double creased the legs. I then look at my $110 Tommy Bahama shirt and it appears that maybe they were trying to remove a spot but they removed the color in the material as well. Shirt is ruined! Time to find a new cleaners! read more

Horrible service, I use this place few times because it's close to my work and convinient to stop by. But a few times I dropped some dry cleaning, and its seems like not properly cleaned and Iron. Last week I dropped off my suites and 3 shirts to be clean and Iron, I told them extra startch. When I got the shirts , from washer to the hanger... its seems like its wasnt been wash nor Iron, and when I ask for solution Manager was deffensive and says "Too bad" cant do anything at that time she said. After several experiences of Green Earth not removing stains from my clothing (some were food that could practically be scratched off) I am happy to forever abandon this cleaner. I have taken the items that Green Earth failed to clean, but still charged me for, to my old cleaner and the stains were removed without problem. read more

Been going here for 2 years. Staff is great, dry cleaning and laundry service is first rate and prices are fantastic.

I'm conflicted about this place. Pros: 1. The owner Roberto is very nice and pretty reasonable to speak with when there are issues. 2. Prices are very reasonable. 3. Close to my work and the freeway 4. Reasonable timeframe to complete drycleaning/alteration work (usually about 3 days for dry cleaning and about 4-7 days for alterations). Not super fast but reasonable. Cons: 1. They sometimes mess up silk clothing. I had a Yumi Kim dress brought here and got it back with ink stains everywhere. The dress says to dry clean it so it makes me wonder about their chemicals? Why else would it cause the colors to bleed? Anyway, they gave me $40 dollars back (much less than the cost of the dress) but their policy is to refund you back a maximum of 10X the cost of the drycleaning for that article and since drycleaning for dresses is $4, that's how they came up with the $40 figure. I was annoyed but I understand that shit happens sometimes. But theeeen... 2. I had several items brought in for alterations. I picked them up (but didnt try them on). When I got home and tried one of the dresses one, it was apparent that no alterations were done at all on them. The dress was still dragging about 5 inches on the floor (yes, I'm short). Again in their defense, when I called them to complain, they let me bring it back in to "re-alter". It was just more of a pain in the behind more than anything else. 3. Oh and just a helpful tip, if you use a credit card, they charge you an extra $1. Overall, I've been going to this establishment for about 1.5 years now so all in all, a couple of bad instances won't make me stop coming. My advice to new customers would be to be aware of the value of your article and their refund policy and if you demand 100% quality service all the time, then perhaps a more expensive dry cleaners would be in order. read more

This is the worst cleaners I have ever encountered. I brought in a silk dress of my child's and they returned it to me covered in black ink stains. They proceeded to accuse me of bringing it in with the stains and refused to provide any compensation. To make matters worse, I was a loyal customer for over 2 years. The manager never called me, I went in three times to try and get it resolved and finally dropped off a letter. They refused to reimburse me anything for the dress and were perfectly happy to have me walk away with my business and ruined dress. A man at the door told me the same thing happened to a pair of pants he brought in and they treated him the same way. Don't go here!!!!!!! read more

I drive out of my way to go to this cleaners for the value. It is $2.50 a garment, and my suits are always nicely cleaned and ready within a couple days when promised. The gentleman that runs the business is always at the front counter and extremely courteous. I have been using this cleaners for quite some time and have never had a bad experience. read more

DON'T waste your time and $ at this place. The saying is true, "You get what you pay for". I had tried this place for dry cleaning about 10 years ago because of the $ and did not like the results. My clothes looked and smelled as if they were not cleaned at all. I decided to give this place another chance, for dry cleaning, it was worse than before! I love, love, love this place! Have used them for years and always happy with the service. Be aware that the price just recently went up to $2.75 an item but still totally worth it. Also they only take cash or checks when you DROP OFF your clothes. Because they are so popular there is usually a line of 2 - 4 people ahead of me but it goes pretty quick. read more

This place is close to home so I decided to give it a try. The reception area wasn't very clean and I had my doubt when I was there. I picked up my husband's suit today but my wooden hanger wasn't there. I asked for it and they told me it was probably thrown away. It just seemed so lame and dishonest cause nobody would have thrown away a perfectly good quality hanger. I would have accepted it if they had told me it was misplaced. Their price is reasonable but service is bad. They are not rude, but if things happen, it's our fault. You do get what you pay for. Not sure why this place has bad reviews. Roberto is really friendly, tells me when I should wash something rather than have them dryclean (which is reducing his business!). Everything has come back perfect so far. And prices are unbeatable for the service, attitude and quality. read more

I live in San Mateo and after constant increase of charges by my local dry cleaner, I started looking for a new cleaner. I tried Green Cleaners first time and very happy with their service and saved 25% over my old cleaners. I recommend them strongly.
