They have great deals. 10% off on the 20th of every month. They have great vendors who come in for the sales and promote their product. No one haggles you to buy anything but it's great to learn about new suppliers. Tony IS THE man. And the whole team are super duper helpful and kind. From the security to the ladies working there. They are allllllllll so pleasant and helpful. Great staff and this is what keeps me coming back for the last 5 years. Tony, I hope you read this. To be clear the ONE star is for LISA not for green angel. I am loyal to Green angel and I go there at least 3-4 times a month. I just had foot surgery and cannot drive. Just called for a delivery and the manager on duty LISA would not allow it because the minimum had to be $80. Unfortunately, I only have $40 cash on me and cannot go to an ATM... since I had surgery and cannot drive. I do understand there are rules in place, however as someone who works with sick people, I do know not everything has to be black and white. Considering I am a regular and my situation is unique as I cannot drive nor go get more cash it would have been the humanistic Thing to do to make an exception. I must admit the lack of compassion from LISA to even try to understand what I was going through left me in tears. Is the $40 extra worth losing a long time loyal customer? It wouldn't be for me. Green Angel is a true gem, the quality of flowers they offer here is unmatched for the price point by any place in the area. The closest that I know of that begins to meet the quality standards set by Green Angel is over deep in Culver City. For the west side this is better than "good", it's fantastic. They're a strictly by-the-book sort of place. Since its post January 1 2018, in this instance that means that they are NOT currently a Prop 64 place, they're still medical only for now. And I really like that, I'm not a fan of the way the new law was written and the incredibly sloppy way it's been rolled out. It's wonderful knowing that there are in fact quality establishments like Green Angel out there who care enough about their patients that they don't want to mess it up with a huge surge of likely irregular customers. So yeah, everything about the place is great. The people working are super nice - I can't speak much as to their particular knowledge on different strains but then again that's a subjective matter, and I tend to be far more knowledgeable on the subject than 99% of dispensary employees I encounter. The parking lot can be super jammed but the staff working there is ON POINT with managing the flow, so you'll be fine. They've got a huge selection of quality flowers which is what I'm after anyways. Their sativas are great which is rare in LA. Also they're the only place that has the legit 91 cuts, check those out for sure. Depending on the day of the week you'll get some sweet discounts. I got an eighth of the Phyllis Diller (an incredible, GA-only mix of 5 haze strains) for $40 and some of the best Super Lemon Haze I have ever had for $40 as well. Got a full gram of Bubba Kush x Trainwreck shatter for $25-smokes great. Note: DO NOT USE THE ATM IN THE PARKING LOT. They charge a $4.50 fee (!!!) on top of the additional $2-3+ fee your bank will charge because it's some random no-name ATM as well. Ridiculous but not anything that Green Angel has control over. I feel bad I have to write this review but I have been coming here for awhile now and today was the first time I received poor service. First, there wasn't any customers there so I thought I would be able to engage in product conversation. Hah. I bought what I usually do and wanted to talk about other product. I must have come at a bad time, the lunch hour maybe as an employee walked past me with IN and OUT. They certainly weren't interested in helping me past taking my money for what I bought or telling me about any new product they have. I drive over from North Hollywood to Sherman Oaks. Not a long drive but I can say there are a ton of dispensaries near me so I say why should I make the drive. They don't have a large store. Hollywood High Grade is large compared to them and I go to Hollywood once a week so I guess I will switch back to them. I started coming here because I wanted a place in the Valley. At least I have always had someone talk to me about new product at Hollywood High grade and you get a card that is punched toward future savings. No, I don't work there. I just want to go to a pot shop that will help me solve my pain. This place says to come on the 20th of the month for a 10 percent savings. Not worth the wait, not worth the drive. Finally, they say how the vendors are there on the 20th. I should talk to them and they will tell me all about their products. Don't waste your time. I have tried talking to them and they don't know their product from their elbow. read more

You'll pay $50 for 6 month old weed. This review is for those of us who smoke on the daily and are not interested in reviews that mention the "great vibe", music, or nice staff. I have given green angel a fair chance, smoked their cannabis at least ten times over the past couple years, but started going less and less as I found other cannabis stores with better PRICES and superior weed. I would love it if Green Angel actually cared about the product their selling, as they are literally walking distance from my house. But I paid $50 for a jar of 6 month old weed, people. Need I say more? Don't get me wrong, it was my fault for not checking the date but at this point in the game I'm so used to weed dispensaries providing only top shelf dank. I shouldn't have to ask how many months old is this $50 weed? I understand you can still safely and (somewhat) effectively smoke weed this old as long as it was properly packaged and stored. But like I said, for those of us who smoke on the daily, crusty dried 6 month weed doesn't cut it. Of course you'll still smoke it, duh, but for FIFTY BUCKS? Safe to say this is the definitely the last time I return to Green Angel. The 20 min drive to my usual place is well worth the drive. Their weed is ALWAYS fresh and potent and at cheaper prices. Even their pre packaged Lowell joints are a good $5 cheaper compared to green angel. Just very disappointed. Sorry guys, it's 2020 and the competition is a lot higher now (no pun intended). Green Angle just doesn't cut the mustard. On my first visit I purchase some editable. It was all push and shove. The front male receptionist was Okay. but going in the door to the retail were a bunch of female bud tenders that just didn't care... They all looked liked they been around the block and back and who hasn't!, me too! It was like want do you want and get out of here! I didn't even get a chance to ask regarding the lotions or my sore finger. A group of activates barges in talking loud and instructing Green Angle help to move fast. Very bosses! Texting of all kinds going on... ... I don't think they like single males coming in their store without a ring on the finger? When I returned home a creepy man was waiting for me. I went back to Green Angel the next day and I asked a different male receptionist regarding if the bud tenders has access to my name, address etc. He nodded his head yes. So sad, no privacy. These creepy bud tenders with makeup painted all over their faces is sharing personal information to their boyfriends or whoever. On my second day i asked regarding lotions... I reported to the bud tender that it was push and shove yesterday. She slowed down a little bit... But I informed her that i spent my money yesterday and just curious about lotions for future purchases. I said thanks and walked away. I walked out to the receptionist area and she followed me behind the counter and started bending over in different positions. Why? I didn't spend any money... ... ? This ruin my buzzes with all the unhappy bud tenders... ... When I spend monies... I want to be happy!!!! I want something with ease. Green Angel, get rid of the creeps in your store... Get rid of the activates that are brain washing your employees. After the second day visit and will probably be my last visit. That day and the next day male creeps were all around my place at home. Delivery service is probably the best without these troubled bud tenders at minimum wage. I would rather give a five tip to a delivery service instead of going to Green Angel... ...
