I went to this dentist office for decades. After many years no complaints ..I even referred plenty of patients to them. I went under my husbands policy. I set up a whole family appointment and updated all of my information and everything went well. Approximately 1.5 years later I got a bill for me only. I tried my best to work with the office; Rhianna explained to me her office put the claim under my old policy number. After yes later we are still Going back and fourth between insurance and the office. I was advised from my insurance company this is not my fault the dental office should of submitted the claims on a timely matter and I am not responsible. I have spoken to other dental office managers and showed them and explained the situation they also agreed I am not responsible for this bill. Years later yes years later I am still getting a bill. I requested to speak to the owner and Rhianna once again stated it is my responsibility and the owner will not reach back to me regarding this matter. Once again this is a disappointing situation and I truly did try to resolve this. Sooo if you want to get hit with a bill years later after service then this is the place. I was looking for a new dentist office and I came across this location in hopes of finding a place that is clean, professional, and caring to their patients. My first time experience was the envision I had when I met the dental hygienist, Rosario. She was very kind and gentle throughout the cleaning. She even spoke words of encouragement to calm my nerves since going to the dentist always makes me anxious. She's an amazing hygienist who I recommend to anyone looking for someone is knowledgeable, delicate with cleaning and willing to care to the overall health of your teeth. read more

The billing lady they currently have comes off as incompetent and a bit rude. She should also learn to say goodbye instead of simply hanging up when she assumes the call is done. Also, false bills. Do yourself a favor and find a dentist who care. I went to Green Acres Dental to replace two crown. They did a very bad job, I called about the issue and returned for the dentist to look at them, it took the dentist about two minutes to look at my teeth and tell me nothing is wrong with the crown, it is your gum. I want to check with another Dentist, he told me that nothing is wrong with my gum. I called my insurance and complaining they put me in a three-way call with Green Acres Dental; they told us that they are in a meeting they will call me back and they never called back. Really quick dentist visit for a first timer. Everything took about an hour but that included the paper work and first time xray. Everyone was friendly for the most part however the dentist I saw was very personable. I didn't catch his name but although I saw him for about 5 minutes he was really nice and a bit funny. Your teeth are your jewels regardless of your dental health. I am a person who takes my dental health very seriously. Even if I'm without insurance I'll spend any amount to get needed work done. I came to green acres dental because I live in the neighborhood, I just got new insurance, and I've always wanted to be a patient at the office since I was young (like I said, I've always taken my dental health seriously). On my first visit it was a struggle because they had me down for a time they weren't seeing patients (huh?) but whatever, the receptionists are alright. Anyway I KNOW my teeth inside and out, like I have my X-ray on my phone lol. I went to see green acres dental for the first time to get my X-rays taken and also tell them about 2 cavities I know that I need filled. The dentist came in and I explained my dental history and what it's current situation in full detail. She looked in my mouth for all of 30 seconds and said I'm 100% fine and I should just schedule a cleaning in 6 months (huh?). Obviously I didn't believe a single word but that was enough for me to just leave. A week later I visited a different office to get a second opinion and this dentist looked at JUST MY X-RAY and knew I needed cavities filled almost immediately after telling me her name. When she actually got to check out my teeth she also noticed other things that could be done and may be a problem in the future. Point is green acres dental does not care about its patients. Don't get fooled by its location and decor. It's really trash. Go anywhere but here. Teeth are precious. read more

I've been going here for many years. My experiences have improved over the years. The staff is professional yet friendly enough (not too invasive). I have had several procedures done here. The results have been most beneficial. Dr. Foppiani always puts me at ease. He's the only one I allows to work on my teeth. He's very gentle with patients such as myself. I have sent several people there that have gained beneficial results. The reason for my not giving a 5 start is the the technician was rather rough with the suction modality. There was too much pressure being applied causing me to choke and the pressure was painful on my bottom lip. I will still recommend family and friends. read more

I've been coming here for years and scheduling a late appt has been a hassle every time. Their latest appt is 5:30 and if you are past 10 minutes late they choose not to see you. So the stress of getting an extraction had the best of me. Dr. Klein has the Midas touch. I went in on time, was seen right away they numb me really well and he came back and explained everything to me, the process began I just felt a little tugging but that's it I didn't feel when the actual tooth was pulled out. I've been going to NYU Dental for 20 plus years but the commute and parking in the city is not only expensive and time consuming. The woman at the front desk told me I had to pay $75 to see the oral surgeon for my TMJ and instead of sending me to an oral surgeon they sent me to a gum specialist and all he did was poke at my gums and tell me i need to floss (something a normal doctor could've told me). I have never been here before and so I called to ask and make sure they accept the insurance that I have. They said yes and so I scheduled an appointment with them only to get there and find out that they don't even accept the insurance that I have. I just wasted my time and gas to go all the way there and it doesn't help that I'm also 8 months pregnant so I was struggling to get there early only to just be told that they can't see me. Would not recommend GAD to anyone. Traumatized to the point that I have not seen a dentist in one year. Dr. Z, removed a filling following my complaint of pain in my tooth, when chewing hard foods, only to tell me, she THINKS, the tooth might be cracked! She refilled the tooth instead of seeking assistance from a colleague. August 2019, I was seen by another dentist at GAD who Apparently did not read my record where she would have seen my complaint about my tooth(if the prior dentist bothered to document the problem), instead this dentist who appeared harried and stressed, looks in my mouth and talks about how she sees the beginnings of decay in upper wisdom teeth, how she does not believe in filling wisdom teeth and how she wants to change a crown (which is expensive),never addressed the pain in my tooth that I indicated to Dr. Z. No one should be subjected to such incompetence from any dentists. This last dentist I saw appeared to be going from one patient to another, not having time to speak with me as I deduced that she was reassigned to me. The meeting was so traumatizing that I cannot recall her name. I did not feel safe and I feel GAD is only concerned with making money, I absolutely would not recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

I took my elderly Mother to help her with a problem with her tooth. No one told her what was the problem but they perform a cleaning and after the cleaning they tell her she has a crack tooth and her insurance will not cover it. My mother was in great pain and I just wasted 2 hours when the Doctor and or staff could have said something about the insurance. I had to take her to another location which accept her insurance and took care of her to my pleasure. When I called to voice my complaint the receptionist and the Doctor on the phone was rude and unprofessional. The would raise there voice not allow me to tell them why I was displease and wish to not allow me to speak once they told me how they felt the phone was hang up. Excellent service! The most I've ever had to wait was maybe 10 minutes. The entire staff is friendly! They will not allow you to be in pain. They open super early so that if you have an emergency, they are available. They are quick and efficient. read more

Would give 0 stars just for the fact of rudeness from the front desk staff. I understand that it is Black Friday and people want the day off, but the woman at the front desk was not qualified to be doing her job. I brought my brother to the doctor they should have mentioned to my mom that because he is under the age of 18 that he should have parental consent, they in which did not mention to her. Being that I came with my brother they asked me to contact my mother which I did and when I asked why they had not mentioned it when my mother made the appointment she got highly rude with me and said that is not her job, and mumbled under her breathe to the other woman behind the desk that she wanted to curse me out and she has no time for this. This should not be the way a person working in the medical field should be treating their patients. I'm highly disgusted by this and will be looking to find a new dentist. read more

I went there today for a cleaning and general exam. I liked it that they kept texting me to remind me of my appt. When i got there for my appt, i was given a form to fill out but was quickly whisked to the back for x-rays, was told to fill it out later, finished x- rays and was whisked to hygienist. Hygienist was semi friendly, not very talkative. Told her about my blood phobia, cleaning went ok, did what was i was told, move head, etc. Doc was called in at end, didn't get her name, but she was very dismissive, stated they couldn't finish cleaning, and i should get an IV with a periodontist instead. Doc was very rude and not professional with me. Told me i was putting words in her mouth when she clearly stated it 1 min prior. Wont be coming back here, not wasting my time any more. Felt i got the riot act for not coming in sooner, sorry but i have a dentist and blood phobia and it took alot for me to get back into a dentists office. Omgggg! I've been going to this place for years and have never experienced a rude ass dentist like Dr. Chopra. She's nasty and rude and dumb as well. I don't know how she received a medical degree. She filled my cavity once and before filling a cavity they're supposed to numb the area. All she did was numb my entire right jaw. Before she started her work, she tapped my tooth area asking if I can feel it. I said yes. She had nerve to say "well then you're not numb" I wanted to curse her out so bad, but I didn't and told her politely that she numbed my entire right cheek instead of my gums. She only works on Thursday so do not go to this place on a Thursday. Also, the new receptionist have been pretty rude lately too. I need a new place for check up and cleaning. Dr. Chopra also asked was I having any other problems. I told her my wisdom tooth was in pain. She told me my wisdom teeth azy rCwere removed when I was younger. How was my wisdom teeth removed and I don't know anything about it and they're still in my mouth?!!!!! Crazy!!! read more
