I never feel the anxiety people feel of going to the dentist, because I know I'm going to be taken care of well. Their hygienists are also awesome. They are all great, the hygienist I go to the most is Bella, been going to her since she joined the practice many years ago. You can't go wrong with either hygienist, they are always so nice & caring. My 26 year old son has also always had a great experience & never complained about going to the dentist. He happened to start going to Dr. Beague early because he had an accident when he was 3 and had to get his 2 front teeth taken out. Dr. Beague made him feel so comfortable even in that pain. When it came time for braces he had them in for only 7 months & his teeth were good. Truly amazing. The practice is always clean, when you call they instantly know who you are & are accommodating. I never have a long wait, they are always ready for me when I come to my appointment. I would recommend this practice. I was there today didn't take pics of the office. Call the other location all the doctors are out of town on vacation, she asked who recommended you to this office? I replied "Universal Dental" she reply. I don't know why she recommend us to you... Something doesn't add up at this "universal Dental" location won't be surprise they have going out of business signage up soon! And yes, both receptionist are so disrespectful and dismissive. I called because of a dental emergency which was there fault and received an attitude right from the beginning. She refused to help me until Monday, I could tell she was eager to go home even though it was an hour and a half before closing time and she couldn't care less that I was in pain. I told her I couldn't last until Monday because the pain was so unbearable and I wasn't able to eat or sleep. Instead she continued to be rude and hung up on me moments later. I have gone there only twice and the second time because they damaged my teeth the first time. Also on my second appointment my teeth were damaged even more causing my dental emergency. I was seeing a dentist in Manhattan that wasn't taking my dental problems seriously. I kept coming in and telling him I was in pain and filling wouldn't cut it. He was very whatever about the situation and told me, "He was the one with the degree." Yes, certainly -- but I'm the one with the mouth. I was upset and shopping around for dentist when my mum told me to come to Valley Stream and visit her dentist. I rolled my eyes and blew her off, but she insisted I come. I traveled two hours on a day off and met Dr.Aghabi. Immediately, she listened to all my concerns, checked my mouth and confirmed all of the issues I had been feeling. In fact, it was WAY worse than expected. I FELT VINDICATED. She helped me find a specialist within my network and explain the entire situation. Ever since then, I've been a true fan. I got my first set of dental issues set and was living my life -- eating chips, drinking gin, not flossing and BAM. One morning I bite down on the softest piece of bread, and I feel the most painful sensation of my LIFE. For about 4 days, I'm incapacitated. Just by the extreme pain, I know I need a serious root canal. I call up my mum, who sees if Dr. Aghabi can fit me in. At first she can't and once she hears the problem, she says she'll fit me in. I was sitting in Manhattan, practically crying. Being in pain for nearly a week, not being able to eat -- Dr. Aghabi fixed that right up. She literally saved my life. I'm so grateful. I walked into the office Tuesday and I immediately can tell it's a place with a prestigious uphold. Very up to date interior design and clean cut atmosphere. Most importantly the amazing staff they have working. They are very professional and proficient and knowledgeable in what they do. Monica was the one who took care of my needs walking in for my first appointment. She is extremely kind and informative and prompt. You can for sure tell she knows what she is talking about! I seen her answer calls while helping both myself and another patient on the phone in a timely matter (which to me being in the health field multitasking is an absolute must). The dentist was amazing as well (not the kind that rushes you because they overbook ! but quite the opposite) he sat there and explained to me everything and made me feel less nervous. I mean who doesn't get nervous at the dentist! Lol . Very rude front desk staff, office manager, Berta, is charged an excessive amount for a copy of my…read morerecords. I would not recommend as the crowns were not made correctly and needed to be highly adjusted. Both crowns should have been a visual for the dentist to see they were not straight, uneven and sharp edges, when putting them in. Terrible experience. No well informed information before a testing procedures, they tell you a week later something wasn't covered and then charge a highly excessive fee for records which is not within the federal guidelines for electronic copies of records or images.
