Everything was scrumptious, tasted home made and made you want to just eat everything on site. The dining room was small, but let me tell you, everyone and I mean everyone kept coming here. Service was great, we were treated so well and the cashier had the ability to be social with everyone that came by as well. What I liked about this establishment was the authentic Greek Orthodox aesthetic. They had such beautiful icons, cool music, like it was the full authentic experience. We got Niko Nikos back in Texas. Don't get me wrong the food is great, but it doesn't have the authentic vibe that this place had. I'm not in Canada, but if I had to come back this would be one of my go to spots.

My wife and I came upon this place by accident when in town and looking for a place to grab lunch. We walked in to find a small, but nicely decorated little storefront. There were a handful of tables, but it was clear that the majority of the customers were grab-and-go, not dine in. We got a couple of combos, including chicken gyros, Greek fries, and soft drinks. The food originally came out packaged to go, but when the girl behind the counter noticed we were dining in, she got us plates, plastic ware, and napkins to facilitate our meal experience. As we were munching, it was clear that this place is like family to a high number of customers who were swinging by to grab a meal. We probably won't be anywhere near this part of Mississauga anytime soon, but if we do, this would probably be place we'd want to prioritize coming back to.

I had the pork souvlaki on a bun. Adding a drink after, it was really good for a $20 dinner. If this was a full dinner meal I'd probably go with the dinner, Service here is over the counter. The service was really nice, though they were the only one working, they were not overwhelmed by our order even though it seemed to be busy that night. The only thing is would not order the gyro again because it's not what I typically expect as the texture was different from shaved meat. However everything else made up for it and would visit again.

I can eat just a bowl of potatoes by them selves with nothing else. If you are looking for great tasting Greek food. Great service. The restaurant seating area itself is tiny and would be better to take out food if you're planning to buy food for more than 2 people. I thought I wouldn't be full after eating just a pita, but all three of these pita's were huge and stuffed with the meat and toppings. They are very generous on portion sizes! We also got a side of fries and onion rings (highly recommend - they are crispy and salty!). The flavours were great and I am definitely going to come back.

Friendly staff guided me through the food I was unfamiliar with ~ especially the desserts My takeout order included: chicken skewers (on the dry side), greek salad (very fresh & tasty feta!), fresh phyllo spinach pie / spanakopita (loved it, filling was substantial & much preferred over doughie swirl version), chicken soup (can't comment as it wasn't for me), baklava (fresh, moist filling, perfect level of phyllo layers & crunch), plus their AMAZING home recipe custard dessert (not too sweet, perfect level of sweetness & texture) I will be coming back. It was obvious the chicken had been precooked and reheated. We mentioned this to the waiter, who seemed irritated by our feedback but eventually took the dishes back and had them redone. The salad was okay but could've used a better dressing. We were both disappointed, especially since we used to be longtime customers. Sadly, this experience sealed the deal, we won't be returning! Honestly, it doesn't come as a surprise. Even during the pandemic, their takeout was overpriced and subpar. They've changed the place and unfortunately, not for the better. Service isn't great either.

MIDIA (mussels) were old and funky tasting and 5 or 6 of them were closed, so clearly dead before cooking. Only ate about half. But the sauce was lovely - low acid tomato sauce, slightly sweet and bright with a squeeze of fresh lemon amd sprinkle of feta. If the mussels had only been fresh it would have been a great dish. SAGANAKI (pan seared sheep's cheese) was the star of the night. Brought to the table hot and sizzling in the pan, with a fresh squeeze of lemon it was salty, crispy, chewy, and delicious! If I ever come back, I'll just order this with a glass of wine and be done. PATZARIA ME SKORTHO (sautéed beets with tzatziki) was nice but I think the beets were boiled or steamed, not sautéed. If they had been sautéed or roasted, it would have been a lot better. Also, the presentation was sloppy. As noted in other reviews, the service was extremely slow. We had to ask several times for more drinks (wine and water). The staff seemed overwhelmed and inexperienced, except the head waiter who was trying to be everywhere while also directing the rest of the serving team who all seemed confused and out of their depth. Decor was nice - clean white walls. Overall a mediocre experience. Food was ok, service was slow. Might stop in for the saganaki & wine again but not for dinner.

The inside didn't look that nice and the place looked old. The souvlaki dinner plate came with chicken, salad, rice, potatoes, three cold pita bread slices and tzatziki sauce. Minus one point as the chicken was dry even though they were large pieces. It wasn't even hot - I thought it was cooked-to-order. The portion of the salad was half the container and it had shredded feta cheese that I've never had before. Usually it's crumbled feta cheese. They followed instructions were all sauces were put to the side. Oh, the tzatziki sauce was really good. If it's homemade, kudos to them. I could use a lot more on the dry chicken and the tender rice. The three potato pieces were another hit. One bite wasn't enough. I wish they gave me more. Overall, I believe there aren't many Greek places around this neighbourhood, so if you are craving Greek, like I was then it's ok. It's a bit pricey. Would I go back? Not sure. Let me just say that I've had a LOT of gyros and this one was by far the best. Tons of meat, toppings, just enough tzatziki that I didn't want to order an extra side (still should've). Family owned, this is a great place to come alone or with friends. You can eat something different every single time and it's just so delicious. I will be back. This was one of the only places a guy that I was seeing when I was in my early twenties and I would go, late at night, when we knew we wouldn't catch anyone else we knew out. The food was predictable, always - and not in a bad way - it just hit the spot after a night of drinking, or when you are hungover. The salad will forever have too much dressing and will be the unhealthiest thing but the souvlaki here was honestly the most shocking thing. Mind you I have not been in six and a half or seven years so don't take my word for it, but for a place to be around this long and still have loyal customers - they're really doing something right, it's not just sheer luck so give it a go! There is zero ambiance or date night feel here, okay. Don't take your girl unless you've been married over ten years. It's boys or girls night out material only. haha

For the main dish, I got rainbow trout which came out smaller than I imagined. It should be cooked well since it was a thin piece too. The spinach rice was a nice side and the salad had a nice colour to the overall dish. My partner's short ribs were not tender and it was hard to chew on. He said the meat didn't fall off the bone. For dessert, the walnut cake was moist, however the pistachio ice cream looked and tasted fake. Service was pretty good. The washroom at the back, near the kitchen was clean.
