New can light attached to wood that has mold due to the fire

Enrique Salinas (Ricky)with Greater Texas Remodeling was hired to rebuild our home after a devastating fire. We paid him $124,000 in one month for work to include plumbing ,electrical, foundation, roofing, sheetrock, tape and bed. He never pulled any permits with the city of Dallas, which we had been charged for by him. In fact we later learned that he is not even registered with the city of Dallas. He did not complete ANY of the above work or provided us with ANY receipts for work done. After getting Red Tagged by the city of Dallas and being called out by the city inspector, he does not answer our calls, texts or e-mails. Ricky Salinas is walking around with our money while our home stands inhabitable, with the studs exposed, and virtually none of the work we paid him to do done. Here are pictures of how he left out house If anyone else had problems with him please feel free to contact me so we can help each other out.

I wish my story was like the ones listed. However, it is not. He started a remodel in Nov 2020 and has not completed it Feb 2021. He refused to return calls for over 2 weeks. After paying him 84k /89k invoiced he kept demanding more money to finish the job. He told me "he is not good at math". Made more promises he did not follow through with. Even though he failed to finish the job he is threatening me with a construction lein. Do not go through what we have. We were left without a functioning kitchen for over 6 weeks. read more

I was very skeptic of using them at first based on the yelp review so I end up doing more research on Facebook and found all the the work they done. In addition, Ricky had no problem explaining to me when I brought up the topic. There is always both sides to the story. I'm glad I went with them and they did an amazing job in the shortest amount of time. No time wasted-I like! read more

Enrique and his staff are very professional - communication was great - they helped me repair a leak at the edge of my house foundation - The price was very reasonable and I know these guys are honest as they could have charged me a lot more but they honored their quote. Some workers from this company were digging in my front yard and must have cut my internet cable in…read morethe process. As soon as I logged off work my internet went out. I have been on the phone with AT&T trying to get a tech out here but it seems like they are having issues on their end with even scheduling someone. If you are going to send people out here to dig at least make sure they are competent and are aware that there are cable lines that are buried underground that they should be aware of. had someone go thru and recaulk all the exterior walls BC Greater Texas Remodling painted and didnt prep or caulk 1st. We also had to go thru and nail down all baseboards BC Greater Texas Remodling didn't properly nail them in nor did they cover any trim or baseboard holes he created. Greater Texas Remodeling Painted the exterior and poured all extra paint on my new sod and painted over a large area of exterior brick and several windows. The wrong plumbing for all sinks were installed so we had to spend another $200+ to correct their mistakes. In both restrooms the wall tile overlapped and was uneven in several areas so we had to be tear down and rehang at my cost of $700. The worst experience I've ever had with a contractor. Enrique Salinas owner of Greater Texas Remodling had no clue what they were doing and no excuse. read more

Ricky and his crew are awesome! They take pride in the job they do. They came in and did a very professional job and worked diligently to complete the job in a timely manner. They didn't rush the process but not once did they drag the job out. They were very polite and friendly. Greater Texas Remodeling will be the only company for our remodel needs. Enrique, AKA Ricky, was hired to complete a job for me. $4500.00 in cash and $1200.00 in undelivered materials later, he is and remains no where to be found. I have called, texted, sent messages....no response. I tried reaching him through FB also, but he has now blocked me. I would not recommend his services. read more
