It turns out it was a liability waiver. The truck used in the delivery was not a normal semi truck. It was definitely only for commercial use, especially with the heavy equipment on it. It trashed our driveway. Not to mention, they gave us ZERO warning they were coming so we weren't even able to make a judgement on if the truck should have come up on the property. During the process of building the roof, they didn't meet the two day timeline. They didn't even tell us when they were coming back and we had to call them. Now we're waiting on the gutters with ZERO ETC. Don't hire DeWitt unless you're strapped for cash. And always assume they're not going to do it right, and assume you need to micromanage. I'll take back this review when their customer service stops making pathetic excuses and act like real professionals.

He responded quickly to our request a quote and actually read all the details we had listed out in the request, which was refreshing to nit receive an automated response. He then came out to quote our request and also provided quotes for what we were looking to do in the future. It was also wonderful to have his feedback on what was going on in our house as we were not so happy with our general contractor. We had started to feel like we were going a little insane from the gaslighting we were receiving from that contractor. Jonatan assured us of the quality of work he was observing and how he could help us resolve some of the issues we were having for a decent price. He was honest, upfront and transparent throughout the entire process, which is exactly what we needed after being burned by the bait and switch from our general contractor. We have since called him multiple times for work in different areas of our Indian village home. his crew is very professional they clean up after themselves. They ensure that the work area is taped off to protect your property, and the quality of the work is outstanding. I am waiting to have the furniture we've ordered for many of the rooms he is painted to be delivered and then I will update my review with beautiful photos of his work. we highly recommend Elegance Painting , and we will be calling in the future for all of our painting needs.

Greenleaf Home Services - Painted Maple built-in with fireplace mantle and marble hearth

Well worth it! Greenleaf's Ryan and Dana designed a space that was attentive to our desired use,…read morethey were patient with our changes, and they employed a terrific team who worked together seamlessly. Every crew member was courteous, neat, and hardworking, and the renovation was completed in 2- 1/2 of the estimated 3-4 months. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work done by all involved, and we now happily make daily use of a previously avoided space. More: I was the naysayer on this project and I was wrong. My husband wanted to renovate our dreary basement to give me more space for all my hobbies. We had finished the space 30 years ago on the (very) cheap: carpeted exercise room, a tiny office, a bathroom with a shower no one used, and a crammed unfinished laundry room that also contained a former coal bin lined with shelving. An unfinished cold storage room behind the office held old paint and garden supplies. The spaces were functional, but they were dingy, worn, uninviting, and, consequently, not often used. The laundry room was kind of creepy. I couldn't imagine that improving our small, low-ceilinged space would justify what remodels cost these days, but Ryan and Dana helped us see the possibilities. While keeping the price down, they created a large office/art/sewing room with two long built-in desks, each with wonderful deep drawers, and made the laundry/utility area more usable by dismantling the coal bin and painting the walls and floor. They upgraded the quality of the entire basement with a beautiful banister, vinyl wood flooring, better lighting, solid wood doors, and lovely bathroom fixtures. AND they added a window in the office for a bit of natural light. What a difference! We actually exercise in the exercise room, and the other spaces are just a delight. Now it feels more like a "lower level" than a basement. Greenleaf transformed our basement into a wonderful extension of our home's living areas. We highly recommend Ryan, Dana, right-hand-man Todd, and the entire Greenleaf team.

When he asked for our budget, we initially said that we did not know what it should cost, as we assumed there would be significant variability depending on materials used. He offered no more information, so we said $7k, but that we had plenty of leeway, depending on what was proposed. He gave no indication of whether or not this was reasonable, but did say that he would have the designer he works with contact us. Fast forward 2 weeks with no contact, my wife called him to inquire about the designer and estimate. He responded that our budget wasn't high enough, and that it wouldn't be a good fit. If that was the case, he could have told us that when we threw out the $7k. He could have provided some expertise and guidance when we initially said that we didn't know what it should cost. He could have called back or emailed us that he wasn't going to do any work for us. Basically, he could have done many things that are more professional than what he did.

So far we completed a kitchen remodel and finished our basement with Gregg . We plan on using them for many more remodel projects in the future. I can't recommend them enough. Great guys that are honest and fair and do quality work. You won't be disappointed working with this company. These qualities are hard to come by in this line of work.

We finally decided to remodel our bathroom that was dated to the mid 1950s and chose Steeds…read moreRemodeling to bring us up to date. My wife did a bit of research in finding the right company to hire, and with the results she found online, Steeds was rated very good and thought we made a good decision by trusting them and their years of experience. However, it was a BAD decision on our part The more we started using our new bathroom, the more issues we notice with the quality of work we received, the angrier we get. - Bathroom north wall not being straight (~3/4" difference between top and bottom of wall) - Because the wall is not level, the heat exchange vent cover looks totally off balance. Very noticeable...... - Numerous wall tiles and floor tiles chipped - Numerous wall tiles not aligned or flush with adjacent tiles - Bullnose tiles out of whack as well, very noticeable - Floor not level, causing floor tiles not being level. You did come and replace some but in doing so the grout on the replaced tiles does not match the rest of the bathroom floor. The new grout is much darker causing it to look like it's always wet. - Floor tiles around the toilet not being level caused me to shimmy the toilet so it sits level. - Damaged bathtub. Large chip that even though we had the tub re- glazed, is still noticeable - Damaged front steel door Steeds Remodeling did offer to repair/replace the defected wall and tiles, but we couldn't have the bathroom down for any longer than it already had been and the follow up cleanup. It took us a while to save up the funds just for labor alone. What I'm saying is that for someone who's been in the business of tiling and remodeling for 17 years, the workmanship on our job does not reflect that at all, and the sub-par results was NOT worth what we have paid. During the entire project we treated Steeds with courtesy, respect, offered them water, even setting up a work bench outside so it would be easier for them. I do understand that business such as his do need to earn an income but the demolition and remodeling of our bathroom was not worth it. We did request a partial refund to which Steed remodeling did agree to. We have pictures to prove/verify our dissatisfaction.
