Available beverages range from speciality fruit beverages, to bottled water, to Pepsi brand fountain drinks and of course, sweet/unsweet tea. I opted to go with just plain water. I was then given a number to place on the table of my choosing and wait for my order to be delivered. The dining room appeared clean with lots of seating. The music was a little loud for my taste, but it was probably the concrete floors and open ceilings that were more to blame for that. There is an adjoining glass window patio section that's much quieter, but it's not climate-controlled and it was pretty humid on the day of our visit, so we stayed in the main dining room and picked a table in the back. Our entrees came out in a timely fashion, and everything looked great. The chicken was moist and very tasty. The sweet potato fries could have been a little crispier in my opinion, but they tasted great. The corn salad was very refreshing. One of the staff came by to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Kudos for that follow-up. Viva Chicken is definitely on our "must return" list.

Order one here and you're gonna get a PILE of meat, sauerkraut based on your preference, the thousand island dressing and on tasty rye bread. What better? One of the best part of the Carving Board is their side selection. You can get just something to go with your sandwich, or go bigger to have some for later. There is a lot available, and all made in house. Their cold sesame noodles are a favorite of mine, so I got a pint of them so I'd have some for home too. The Reuben contained 8 ounces of hot, tasty corned beef, great cheese, plenty of kraut, marble rye, and lots of 1000 Island Dressing. I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. That said, something similar happened before when I ordered from their weekly specials menu so I've decided I won't be ordering from it again. I'll be sticking to their regular menu from now on.
