Now, I have a very established place for my favorite reuben in the whole Triad, and that is O'Briens. But this place definitely comes in a close shave behind. Order one here and you're gonna get a PILE of meat, sauerkraut based on your preference, the thousand island dressing and on tasty rye bread. What better? One of the best part of the Carving Board is their side selection. You can get just something to go with your sandwich, or go bigger to have some for later. There is a lot available, and all made in house. Their cold sesame noodles are a favorite of mine, so I got a pint of them so I'd have some for home too. In general, I would say don't miss this place, kind of a Winston-Salem institution.

The selection was wonderful, the portions were great, and the taste was phenomenal. Greek chicken pita hold the olives for me -- delicious Blueberry lavender drinky drink delectable No insane sugar spike for this 34 week pregnant type 1 diabetic, so it's a win for me in that aspect too. Unfortunately, the portions have become noticeably smaller while the prices keep climbing. One of the things that made CAVA stand out was getting a filling, healthy meal that felt worth every dollar. Now, it seems like they're cutting back on the amount of food, which takes away from the overall experience. I still enjoy eating here because the quality is excellent, but I hope they get back to the generous portions that made so many people loyal customers.

Cafe Arthur's has a few other great sounding burgers on their menu beyond this smash burger I ordered. I've had the Burger Basket there a few years ago with the onion rings and loved it so of course the onion rings had to be the side again. Ask for the spring mix to be subbed with shedded iceberg for that crunch of lettuce too. Honestly, I'm not here to yuck anyone else's yum but SPRING MIX?? On a burger??? Who does that? Other than that one change the burger was perfect. Loved every bite. It's big though, two 4 oz patties and all the other toppings on a toasted sesame seed bun. I could only eat half of the burger and onion rings so I had a nice to go box I took home and my son finished it for his dinner. Our service was friendly and quick. We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. They had a good crowd on a Friday night around 6:30pm. The parking at Cafe Arthur's can be a bit challenging. They have spaces surrounding the building but also share a parking lot with other businesses so you might have to park a little further during peak times but not that far. I was then given a number to place on the table of my choosing and wait for my order to be delivered. The dining room appeared clean with lots of seating. The music was a little loud for my taste, but it was probably the concrete floors and open ceilings that were more to blame for that. There is an adjoining glass window patio section that's much quieter, but it's not climate-controlled and it was pretty humid on the day of our visit, so we stayed in the main dining room and picked a table in the back. Our entrees came out in a timely fashion, and everything looked great. The chicken was moist and very tasty. The sweet potato fries could have been a little crispier in my opinion, but they tasted great. The corn salad was very refreshing. One of the staff came by to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. Kudos for that follow-up. Viva Chicken is definitely on our "must return" list.

I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. ChickFila was closed due to ice storm so they gave this place a shot. Wife got 'upset' stomach from the experience. They would not reccomend eating there.
