We walked into an empty location at lunch hour only to be partially greeted in a strange manner about 10 minutes after setting at our partially cleaned table. The staff assumed we wanted the lunch buffet and after looking through the prices it did seem to be the best value. Half picked through but a great variety and all of the Chinese Staples you would expect at a buffet. My friend found plastic in her food and they charged us for 3 meals instead of 2 just because I had leftovers on my plate even tho they're gonna throw it away anyway? I cannot recommend this place. I can't express how utterly filthy everything was. The food options for veggies is barely recognized. The lo mein is made with chicken so I could really only eat the rice, green beans and wontons. The bathrooms are right off of the kitchen and buffet area (gross) and were absolutely disgusting. If there was a port-a-potty outside I would have opted for that. I actually used the men's restroom because there was an awkward line of women going through the dining area waiting for the bathroom. I got a nasty look from an employee but I regret nothing. Cheap yes, but not worth it in the slightest. read more

Jumping in here because small town and small businesses need to be supported! Had take out from here for the first time today and it was great! Good flavor, hot, and exactly what I expected. This was one of the worst Chinese places I've been to. The only reason we went there was the only other Chinese buffet places was closed today. The food looked over cooked and it was cold to the touch immediately after I put it on my plate. Nothing was hot! About half was warm. The flavor was nothing to write home about. Totally disgusting you could tell the food had been sitting there all day and we went in about 5 o'clock in the afternoon. We have been traveling all day and I was starving and I refused to eat anything that they had. My sons and husband had the buffet and they barely ate any of it. I took the kids here this afternoon around 3pm. Most of the containers on the buffet were empty. The little food that was in the other containers was absolutely disgusting (cold and hard from sitting there so long-seriously disgusting). There was food spilled out of the containers laying around the buffet. I immediately asked the server if they were going to refill/swap out the containers and I was told they were working on it. The server went over to the buffet and looked at it and went to the kitchen. He returned to the seating area and never once made an attempt to tidy up the buffet or come over to the table and update us on how long it would be until there would actually be edible food on the buffet. We waited another 15 minutes - the kids and I tried a few items and most of it was disgusting. The only thing good on the buffet was the soup and oranges. No attempt was ever made to swap out containers or to refill the food. So we got up to leave. I again expressed my unhappiness with the empty containers and old/cold food. I was offered an excuse that between 2-5pm they switch the food and refill and they were in the process of doing that. He refused to take ANYTHING off of our bill which came to approx. $30. This is where I am going to tell you this gentleman got a piece of my mind. I educated him on a few things: One being about offering a product and their obligation to provide that product as advertised and a few other things. I suggested that if they can't provide a decent buffet between 2-5pm then i suggested they close the doors during that time or atleast make the customers aware that what is out there is what they get. Yes, he got a lecture! I won't even discuss the food safety issues at this restaurant. I strongly suggest no one eats here and if you do, take a walk around the buffet and check it out before you decide to commit to eating there. read more

I read Mike's review and I think they're trying a lot harder now. It is true though that the later you go during any buffet that's the chance you take. We went there last night at 5:30 and the food was exceptionable hot fresh and I had the best rice ever. Egg rolls were done to perfection and so was the sweet and sour chicken. I think sometimes cooks just have bad nights in the kitchen, but when we went we lucked out it was excellent. We ended up there because we discovered the other Chinese buffet in town does not serve buffets after 3:30 in the afternoon. We had a wonderful meal. I told my daughter who lives out of town and she said she has not found another Chinese restaurant she likes any better than The Grest Wall in Little Falls. read more

Probably the worst restaurant I've been too. Everything looked Burnt and was cold. The rice was hard and dry, the noodles didn't have any flavor. I couldn't even finish my plate. The service wasn't good, and half of the food wasn't there. They didn't even have music. It was a waste of money, I would not recommend to anyone. read more

If I could give it less than 1 star, I would. Went for dinner, just after 8pm. Waiter seemed put off that we wanted a menu right off the bat. When I asked for chop suey he told me no. They didn't have any. I asked how was it possible, he explained they did not have bean sprouts. How can a Chinese restaurant not have bean sprouts? They are a staple in so many dishes. Very poor. Food was old, and lacked flavor and freshness. Only one hostess/server.... Had to fill our own drinks. The building is in very poor condition; men's room was a wreck. We ate here after a family member wanted Chinese, it was actually recommended by a hotel employee. My expectations were low being that we were in the middle of Minnesota and Chinese is my not my first thought. Personally I think of classic bar food with a small town twist is a great choice. We arrived a little later than normal about 800 pm and the place was empty except for two tables. I had noticed on the sign that the buffet went until 900, which seemed a little late. I wasn't really in the mood for buffet so I wanted to see the menu. When we sat down we were almost forced to get the buffet, our group of 8 walked up and checked it out, and it did not look appealing at all, the waiter must have noticed because at the same time we showed disinterest he claimed that fresh food would be out soon, when asked what kind of food, he told us get up and look. "fresh" food was brought out but it was too few and far between, what was not brought out was so cold I was afraid I would contract something, fried shrimp was not cleaned, meats had that strange "cooked, stored then cooked again" taste and the white rice contained hard overcooked bits, note: if you're an Asian restaurant and you can't cook white rice right, it's time to call it quits.
