Review is for take out: The Szechuan chicken tasted like sweet and sour sauce with ground red peppers thrown into it, it was more sweet than the spicy flavor that one would taste in the Szechuan style. My take out container had maybe 6 pieces of small chicken but plenty of veggies both overwhelmed by fried rice. General Zso's chicken was dry. Hard to mess up both of these two. Having a home on Emerald Isle, I have eaten here many times. For fast Chinese, it appears to be a bit better than other fast food Chinese. Egg rolls are very good and the shrimp are big and fresh. While vacationing in E.I. the family wanted some good Chinese food. The Great Wall did not disappoint. Every time I vacation at Emerald Isle I come to this place. Service is great, food is prepared fast and it's tasty. One thing they should consider changing should be the rice they are using to make their fried rice. It's little soggy and not as flavorful. Other than that price is low and food tastes great. I would still come and eat here if they don't change their rice. read more

Quick and friendly service. The food was a mixed bag of take out. The egg drop soup was thin and not very good. I threw most of that away. I had the sesame chicken and enjoyed it. The sauce was essentially the same as the General Tso's sauce. I know this because that's what my wife got. That was better than Tso-Tso. Sorry. My wife got two egg roll and says they were the best part of her meal. I also got an appetizer. I got the fried dumplings and thougt they were verry good while the dipping sauce may have been the best of its class. In conclusion, if you have a hankering for Chinese while on vacation go ahead and give it a try -- you get plenty and it's well-priced.just don't expect to write home about it. This is a solid choice for coastal Carolina Chinese food. American style. (And by that I allude to: crab Rangoon, General Tso's Chicken, etc.) The restaurant, located in Emerald Isle., is easy to find and is good for take-out, or very minimal decor eat-in. The food was ready quickly (15 minutes) and our order was correct. We tried the egg rolls and the spring rolls. Both were crunchy and plump. Lots of filling. Very good. The beef with broccoli was standard. The Kung Bo Chicken was spicy, as per our request, and very good. Lots of chicken and veggies. The General Tso was ok, but the golden rice with it was 'meh'. (I'd skip this one.) My son got the Lo Mein and liked it. Lots of chicken and a good sauce. The noodles were not overcooked, which is important. The shrimp with lobster sauce was more like a soup. But it had huge shrimp in it and good flavor. Got a positive rating from the crowd. Overall, a good Chinese take-out with reasonable prices, fast service, and friendly service. Good Chinese food. It's hard to come by on the coast. The Singapore noodles were very good, as was the orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken. The scallops-in-garlic-sauce was light on the scallop, heavy on the broccoli, but still decent. Hot and sour soup good, wanton was just okay. The broth wasn't so great.
