Food-Excellent (5). A pleasant surprise. We are experienced Vietnamese diners so we simply compared…read moreour experience with Viet Taste. We don't expect exactly the same dishes and were not disappointed in freshness, quantity, and uniqueness. Viet Taste has its own, I believe, interpretation of some mainline traditional dishes and we found them delicious and interesting. Midweek lunch for two that included two appetizers and two main dishes with water to drink cost about $50. There was enough left over for another meal. Service - Good (3). Pleasant and effective. Timing on service was unpredictable. Appetizers served after mains for example. Diners who arrived long after us were served before us. Yes, it may be that dishes are delivered when ready, but there was no messaging about delays. Ambiance - (1) needs work. Overgrown plants, unkempt sidewalk in front, and a grimy restroom with no paper towels were signs that some maintenance was needed. The entire space has the potential to offer a much better experience given size and furnishings. See photo of bathroom light switch plate. Next time we may opt for takeout. Overall good and interesting food unique for Salisbury. I hope they upgrade the environment and successfully remain in business.

The views are amazing (even from inside)....they closed the tiki area or outside dock areas early this year....so we had to view the water from the windows... Thats really were amazing ended.... The busboy - Trace / Chase was amazing....we left a tip as he was doing great! The food was absolutely mid in every way....bland, presentation....freshness - ALL MID....and overpriced (bill for 2 - sans alcohol = $63) The staff really didn't seem all that attentive (other than the busboy) - from the front to waitress to managers....

Legal Assets is a fine restaurant serving up classic yet inventive Easter Shore dishes. Everything…read moreon the menu is familiar and elevated by the Chef and kitchen staff, which will satisfy a wide variety of palates. Why I encourage you to dine at Legal Assets is for the service. Particularly Shelby - our server for the evening. She is kind, funny, playful, knowledgeable, quirky, attentive, and conscientious. What this translates to is Shelby elevated our dining experience, and we are thankful to have crossed her path. I rarely compliment or review the front of the house. Mainly because most of them lack basic restaurant skills; food preparation knowledge; customer service; and are generally void of a personality. Restaurateurs - When your servers think a bouillabaisse is a cream soup, it's your fault - do better. So back to Shelby. Words of flattery cannot fully describe how outstanding our experience was as we were attended to through a multi-course meal. To this point, you will have to reserve a table at Legal Assets and experience for yourself. And if you are lucky, you may be sat within Shelby's section for a joyful time.

I was so disappointed today at lunch. We went to the nearby Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge…read moreand decided to go to the diner for an easy lunch. We both choose the senior fried flounder (one piece) with salad bar and mac and cheese. The salad bar was okay, pretty typical for the diners around here. The flounder was awful. The pieces of fish were identical, like they were from frozen, not fresh (long triangle shape). The breading was very gritty, not sure what it was battered with but it was a terrible mouth feel. Very unpleasant. The mac and cheese was good. We got the free pudding to go, it was put into what I can only describe as a oversize shot glass. We both laughed when we took it out of the bag. So disappointed.

The prices were reasonable and the food was what you would expect to get at a diner, but much, much better. My girlfriend ordered two eggs medium, bacon and hash browns.
