I am a periodic insomniac, especially when the season change I can get an acute case of sleeplessness. So why would I go to a vape shop? Well not for the vaping but for the newly legal tincture they sell--CBD oil. And this store brings the goods. ( I think they sell CBD vapes too but don't quote me on that.) I heard about CBD long ago and wished to test its reported property to improve sleep. It reportedly helps with anxiety and mental concentration too, two other afflictions I suffered from. I was intrigue with its hypothetical serotonin raising abilities--low serotonin is something I long suspected I suffered from. So once the hemp extract was made legal in Ohio and I heard this local spot specialized in it I made a visit. Let me tell you the clerk--who I assume is the owner-- knows his stuff. He asked about my issues, listened carefully, and gave advice in a warm, confident, and authoritative manner. He suggested a certain mg/ ml tincture, told me when and what amount to take, and how to adjust according to results. I bought a bottle and went to testing it. There are several flavors they can mix in. I asked for black cherry. It tastes like cough medicine. It was awesome service. As for the CBD --it worked! It put me to sleep and I have deeper, higher quality sleep. My concentration is through the roof--I handle situations that had my flustered before with confident aplomb and hip coolness. Anxiety, which I had already lowered with daily meditation, was totally vaporized. Of course, I can not say it was not the placebo effect, and the FHA has not evaluated the claims, but I urge anyone suffering from such affliction to try it. Do research and come to knowledgable venders like this and ask questions. The only downer is the price here. It a little expensive. You can find cheeper online but you do not know if you can trust them. You can get hemp oil without cbd, or stuff with THC, the psychoactive ingredient of marijuana. ( which for many may not be a deal breaker.) Here you can be sure. Consider too the economy of scale; once it becomes more popular and capacity is reached the price will go down. Just great service and great product in a clean store with a cute giant Golden Retriever that lives there too. ( I think it's the owners dog.) Try it. Recommend. read more

After several mediocre experiences with a couple of different vape stores around town, I happened to catch this place out of the corner of my eye as I passed by. I ended up stopping in to see what mods they had in-stock, and check out their juice and accessory supply. The guys in here are light-hearted, hilarious, and fun to do business with. They have a pretty steady group of regular customers because every time I have gone in, they've greeted at least one person by name and interacted in a way that would insinuate they take a genuine, yet respectful, interest in their customers. This would also insinuate that they take care of their customers to keep them coming back to even establish that kind of rapport. I used to go to this place all the time until I went in and had the owner look at my vaporizer he broke the glass and didn't replace it he told me he didn't have glass that size but that I could buy a new piece.l frankly if I broke something there he would probably make me pay for it that was my last trip I will never go back. Tonight, my boyfriend and I decided to take the leap into the world of vaping. I have a couple chronic neurological conditions and my neurologist and PCP have suggested I try CBD as an alternative method in the past. I've never really wanted to go that route because of the stigma mainstream society places on it, but in the past year my conditions have progressed and I've become limited in my synthetic pharmacology options because of sensitivities and allergies. A friend who has similar conditions started vaping CBD oils earlier in the week and had let me try it out and I got favorable results without any side effects or feeling weird. I've never been a smoker and my boyfriend quit smoking almost 20 years ago. I did enjoy the social aspect of vaping with my friend and the taste of her oils and my boyfriend thought he might enjoy vaping nicotine and CBD free oils himself for social enjoyment. We live within walking distance of Great Vapes and after seeing the reviews on Yelp decided to make it our first stop on our trek to do research into the cost and feasibility of this being a treatment option for me. When we walked in, Zack greeted us like we were old friends. We explained that we had no clue about vaping and my boyfriend had never really even seen a vaporizer, much less used one and that we wanted to learn about them before deciding if it was something we were interested in. Zack didn't seem the least bit perturbed by the fact that we may not end up purchasing anything and he and another customer spent the better part of an hour explaining the ins and outs of vaping to us. He never made us feel pressured or like he was trying to upsell us anything or even sell us anything, to be honest. He treated us like we were old friends and he was telling us about a fabulous hobby that he wanted to share with us. I was a little nervous to ask about using CBD oils in the vaporizers because I'd read the back and forth debate online and I know a lot of people automatically associate them with marijuana use. I was afraid it would automatically be assumed we were stoners, but Zack didn't even bat an eye when I finally worked up the courage to ask how it would would work in the vaporizer we were leaning towards, and to my great delight, he turned around and produced several different sized vials of different strengths of CBD oils! All different flavors even! AND at reasonable prices! Once we were a little more educated, we decided on a set up and Zack sent us to pick out some flavorings. Then he showed us how to take everything apart and put it back together and how to use it. He was so patient with all of our questions and had an awesome sense of humor! I think he realized I was a little nervous about making sure I did it right and didn't mess up our equipment because he told me if I needed to, I could bring it in and he would reload it and re-prime it for me any time I needed to. He even went back and added menthol to my CBD oil after he'd already loaded it and primed it for me when I decided it needed a little more. Not once did he seem rushed or annoyed. Everyone in the store was so mellow and so nice. We felt at ease and it almost was like we were being welcomed into a new club, as cheesy as that may sound. I would definitely be interested in taking my friend who also just started vaping back, to try the "bar" aspect so that we can try some new flavors and just sit and talk. Came here looking for my first mod after having a "meh" experience at one of the more popular vape shops in Columbus. The owner was very helpful, and let me play with everything for (literally) hours until I was confident with my choices. He was understanding about budget, and honest about the pros and cons of all my options. He wasn't at all condescending when I wanted to make choices based on the visual aesthetics of a piece, but also truthful when something wouldn't be ideal, despite being pretty. Great Vapes line of house juices has some especially fantastic banana flavors. They also mixed up a custom cherry cola flavor for me when I requested more of a cherry punch. Because I was brought by a friend, she earned enough loyalty points to take home a free juice as well. Plus there's an adorable dog named Zoe. 5 out of 5 for Zoe too! read more

These guys are great. I went in as a non-cigarette smoker, knowing next to nothing about vaping, and was treated with patience and kindness. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable; willing to give me a hand when my device has any issues. If I buy a replacement coil, they always offer to change it for me on the spot. What a great shop, Clean professional and very personable. Their tasting station was very very organised and squeaky clean. the owner Kevin was a great help, he went through how to use and take care of my equipment and how to trouble shoot if i ever had to. As far as their flavors go they make them fresh per your order they will do any pg/vg combination along with any nic level you want. they even offer extra flavor shots!!! if you get a flavor and it isnt right or not what you expected after you leave the shop he will change it out for you free of charge, same goes with any equipment you buy there. he stands behind everything he sells 200%. One last thing i will put in is that unlike some other vape shops ive went to this one was not littered with teenagers or clutter or backrooms showing. Probably the best vape shop i have been to in years.
