We both only ate half of it and took home the rest for lunch the next day. I felt like the sauce was a little bland but not terrible. It could have been a little zippier with more flavor. It came with steamed vegetables covered with the same teriyaki sauce as the chicken. I wish that they would have used a different sauce for the vegetables or offered a salad with the ginger salad dressing that you see at a lot of Japanese restaurants. For the teriyaki plates they also offer it with steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops. We also ordered some Japanese spring rolls and they were tasty. On their menu they also have poké bowls, sushi and noodle dishes. The woman who took our order at the counter was very friendly and helpful and even checked on us after she served us our food. The vibes were great, the interaction with the cook adds to the awesome dining experience and offers a little entertainment as well. The service was good, no complaints. Everything went smoothly. The chairs feel packed in to fit everyone around the table. A little more space would be nice. On the bright side, there was plenty of parking!
