This shop is located in the food court of the mall there in Murray. The staff were ok - a little hard to communicate with - we had a really hard time hearing them behind the masks and glass and they were so quiet even though they had a kind of microphone. But they got our order right so all ended well lol! We ordered the bacon chicken ranch sandwich, the Buffalo chicken cheesesteak and some cheese fries to share. My son loved his bacon chicken ranch sandwich. My Buffalo chicken sandwich was ok but too spicy for me...I could only eat half. It was too dry so I feel like if it had more sauce it would be much better (reason for the 4 stars also). The fries were good but the cheese sauce could definitely have been better. Prices seemed fairly reasonable for the area. If I did go back, I'd try a traditional cheesesteak and skip the cheese on the fries. read more

I order my food and naturally I go and throw out my receipt and straw trash. I then read a sign that says you must have your receipt to pick up the food which is my bad, I was stupid didn't consider they'd do that, although I probably should've given how it's a food court place again my bad. I tell him what I did and how it's my mistake and tell him exactly what i got and didn't want on my food all the special shit right only stuff me who ordered it would know. He says go get it, I reiterate the receipt is in the trash, he says don't care go get it. I walk away take a glance at the trash can't see it. Come back tell him exactly what I got and then he lets me get the food I've paid for. I was starving and at Fashion Place Mall so I stopped at Great Steak. The was plexiglass between myself & the cashier. I couldn't understand her & it's become obvious she didn't understand me. I ordered a Teriyaki chicken sandwich & fries. The fries were mediocre at best, barely warm. The sandwich I ordered was not what I got. I noticed as the cook was bagging it that it didn't look like any Teriyaki was on it. Cook turned to cashier after I told her I'd ordered the Teriyaki at that point I was just done & asked for Teriyaki sauce to be added. When I got home the sandwich was so doggy it was inedible and the extra lettuce & grilled onions was nowhere to be found. My order was almost $15 so this isn't a cheap establishment. I was impressed that they offer cheese whiz, which a lot of places don't do because Utahns aren't used to it. The bread was pretty good, much softer than a lot of other stores. The speed of service was great but the food is over priced and not fresh. I ordered cheese fries for $4. I haven't been to this place in a long time. Last week I was at the mall and I decided to check it out since I haven't had them for a long time. It is not as good as I remember though. The steak tasted steakey ( meaty). The fries weren't as fresh, and as tender as they used to. The service however was good, the staff were nice and friendly so I can't complain about that. I've been here so many times. I actually prefer this place for philly cheese steaks than most. I love their fries here. I'm pretty picky about fries since I love eating them so much, but my favorite ones are basically the ones from here. I love fries with the skins that are freshly cut. That's the feeling I get when I get fries here. I usually have gotten their chicken salad also. They put chicken on the grill with provolone cheese and it makes my salad just 10x better than a normal one. The portions are great for the price and I love having fresh hot food. They give a lot in each portion which is good. I've always wanted to try their baked potatoes but I always feel like it's a little over priced for a small potato. If you're in the mall looking for something to eat, you should try this. I love their steaks in general, super packed with veggies and flavor. Plus they don't really skimp out on the meat. I LOVE THIS PLACE. I'm might have ghetto taste buds but i love their Philly cheesesteaks. You can get the provolone AND the nacho cheese on it, and it's heaven plus you can through on a couple extra things like lettuce and black olives. They now have a meal deal so it's not so expensive but if you go with a large sandwich it can get up in the $12 range but if you're hungry it's well worth it. BEWARE!!! Pricing fluctuates daily and very fraudulent activity takes place at this location. Labor laws are clearly not effective because a kid no older than 10 made my sandwich while another set of kids between 5 and 6 are just hanging out in the stock room. I was also charged over 1$ (not noticing this until i checked my bank statements) without being told that they charge you extra for fry sauce and cheese. I've never been so angry about an operated franchise in my life. Be sure to ask for an itemized receipt (if you can even read it since the printer ink hasnt been changed since this joint opened) every time because they will tack on every nickel and dime they can.
