I have two horizontal 20lbs propane tanks in my older truck camper. I had them filled at a tractor supply in Lincoln NE, and I don't know how but they messed up the fill and my heater that night started shooting fireballs out the exhaust port, so we got to enjoy 30 degree weather with just sleeping bags (that was fun) (not). So the next morning it was a god send that along I80 we parked at a truck stop that was 4 miles away from Great Plains propane. I saw that they only had one star and I read the review it was a nonsense review. Who complains about a company that says "sorry but we don't have the man power right now" I would rather them say that than say "yea we can do it" and never get to it, because they don't have the man power. We are far from home in our camper and headed to MN where it is very cold so we need our heater. These folks were the nicest people I have ever met. They purged our tanks, took the tanks completely apart, filled them with (I think ethanol) to get any possible liquids out, and refilled my tanks. It took them easily 30 mins of non stop work to do this to both tanks and they charged me next to nothing. They made sure everything was working before sending me on my way. These folks are a great example of how God wants us to treat each other. My wife and I have never wanted to live in NE, but my wife said "if people here are this nice, it's gonna make me wanna move to NE" I hope that review helps to give you a better understanding of these folks, because they are just good people. Btw I don't know anyone here from anyone else, as you can see by my previous reviews I'm from CA so needless to say I was not paid to write this review it is an honest experience. read more
