Incredible service meets personal attention and quality flowers at Flowers by Freyhammer…read more Everything about this store feels intimate, and that includes the quality of service you get from the staff here. My wife and I worked with Steve to provide us with the flowers for our wedding, and he really went above and beyond to deliver (literally and figuratively). We first met with Steve about 6 months before our wedding and he paid attention to everything we were looking for on the big day. He showed us some options (both in person and in a photo book) and made some recommendations without pressuring us into any particular orders. After taking some notes, he asked us to come back in a couple weeks to take a look at some samples he was going to put together for us. We went back as requested and he had the samples waiting for us on schedule. At that point, he asked if there was anything we wanted to change and we provided some suggestions. Altogether we stopped by about 3-4 times for changes over the course of those 6 months, and Steve never gave us any grief. He simply took our requests, offered some recommendations, and made all the changes we wanted, organizing and showing us new samples every few weeks (at no extra cost). Steve was also wonderful at working with our budget and offered us a terrific value with all the flowers we were ordering. Having looked at other florists (especially professional wedding florists), we found there was no reason not to go with Steve. He offered the same kind of flowers with even greater service (we could really tell that he cared about making our big day a success) at a lower rate. What's not to love about that? And on the day of the wedding, our flowers were beautiful, delivered early to our venues and exactly as desired. Overall, I would definitely recommend Flowers by Freyhammer, whether you're looking for flowers for a small occasion or large affair. Thanks to Steve and his team for providing such a great wedding day experience for us!

These are the flowers they put in our lobby the week before thanksgiving. We have family arriving and I wanted to make sure these would not be the flowers my guests saw upon arrival (very basic, unseasonable, low end - embarrassing. Would never use them based on her poor attitude and customer service. She does not exude warmth or professionalism.

I absolutely hate writing negative reviews but when businesses do not reciprocate what you pay for,…read morethen I cannot feel bad. Almost every time I disregarded bad review, I was sorry so I'm trying to do the same for my fellow Yelpers. So I grew up in Whitestone and my parents still reside there. I have been unsuccessful with other florists in the area when ordering flowers to be delivered to my mother. My mom just celebrated a year cancer free so I wanted to surprise her and recognize her. I browsed the selection on the website of flowers and plants, which were an amazing variety. I wanted to order a plant that was good luck to health. I decided to go with a bamboo plant since my mom likes them. I ordered on a Friday, to be delivered the following Wednesday (5 days later). There was some fee that was waived but still had to pay $10 for shipping-for under 2 miles. Fine, whatever, I'm over 1,000 miles away and cannot do it myself. I placed the order and it was charged to my card immediately and I received a confirmation email. Wednesday arrives. 2pm-nothing. 6pm-nothing. I left work at 9pm and never heard anything from my mother so I asked her if she received any deliveries-thinking maybe she missed it or something. She told me no. I went from 0 to 100 immediately. This occasion was very, very important. It was not a holiday where they would be busy. I never received a call or email about any issues. It was paid for. I tried calling but of course they were closed. I emailed but no response. Fast forward to the following afternoon. I receive a voicemail from Elizabeth to call back regarding my order. So Elizabeth was kind of nice and that was the only positive aspect. I was told "I received the order this morning (now 6 days after I placed the order). We do not have any bamboo plants in stock (it was listed in stock on website). Would you like me to send another plant". I am a very understanding and polite person but when a business goes above and beyond to screw something up that I paid for, I am not going to be pleasant. I think next time, I am just going to pay one of my friends to physically buy flowers and deliver them to my mom for me. There are no pictures because nothing was delivered. I did receive a refund notification via email and the actual refund went back to my card about 4 days later.

I have shopped Sunny park in the past. They offer a vast selection of flowers for all occasions…read more Flowers are very expensive nowadays so my budget was under $60. I considered ordering online but that would have cost about $10 or more due to service fees and delivery fee. even with a discount that would have exceeded the $65 budget. I picked up a bouquet for $59.75 It was not that crowded and they had about 4 young people helping out. Just be patient they will eventually asked if you need help, when the are finished doing what young people do; conversing amongst themselves and using the phone. It does get a bit confusing for them when you have customers and workers moving about. A worker told me to tell a tall guy by the flowers to help me. I picked up a bouquet and told the told guy where she pointed. He looks at me and didn't respond. I told him again that I want the bouquet that I held in my hands. He finally stated that he doesn't work there. I had to apologize profusely because I really did not want to offend him. However, we did have a good laugh.
