We came out to celebrate some birthdays and check out all the animals. Our tour guide, Tom, was so knowledgeable and nice. He made a lot of good jokes too which I appreciated. The animals were all excited to see us since we were in the first tour of the day. My son loved seeing all the big bison come right up to the side of the bus and eat the food from his cup. The tour ended and we got some lunch at the counter service spot in the lodge. The burger was delicious and the fries tasted great too. I had a bite of the Buffalo chicken panini as well and it was so good. The best part about the food was that for two adult meals and a kids meal with drinks only came out to $30. For how the world is right now, that is so awesome to see. It made the day feel very affordable and family friendly. We also checked out the petting zoo which was filled with goats, donkeys, and even a couple kangaroos! What a great day out at the farm. We will definitely be back again.

We bought several maple products including maple peanut butter, maple syrup, maple onion dip mix, and maple meringue drops. Everything was great and I'll definitely come back here for a future maple weekend.

It's a fun, educational and, of course, sweet time for everyone. Wolf Maple Products Farm was the perfect destination. There was something for everyone. It's definitely a great place for families with children. With a small playground, petting zoo and tractor rides, your kids won't be bored. For us, just being in the countryside was cool. Of course, buying a jug of maple syrup is a must. We also had warm, freshly made maple cream glazed donuts. To make that not enough, we covered each bite with maple soft serve ice cream. It was sweet heaven:). The place is not particularly huge and was rather crowded. The lines to the food section or the tractor ride can be long. But you're outside enjoying the fresh spring air, taking your time to do anything. The weather was perfect, which obviously helped. Next year, check out their Facebook page for more details. They really have a lot to offer.

It starts with sort of a museum, which we mostly skipped. We were able to use the clean restrooms and then begin our journey into the bird sanctuary. The birds roam free and there's actually cute little mice in the building. I think they're prey for the birds but couldn't be certain. There's all kind of birds here and they're allowed to fly around and roam inside the big habitat . My kiddos fed the lorikeets and they had a blast doing that!

As it turns out, Bird Kingdom is also a fun and well-executed entertainment concept with a lot of educational resources about the animals there and on endangered species more generally. On the whole, I'm mostly against zoos, which hide their carnival origins behind advocacy stories as a pretext for continuing to breed large exotic animals for entertainment purposes. But this ain't that: it's essentially a retirement home for a lot of birds and reptiles that otherwise probably would have met worse ends, and I can support that. The three-level atrium is great. You can feed the lorikeets for a small upcharge. The parking lot is a bit too small for the volume and--caveat emptor--the adjacent lots are ungodly expensive. Worth a visit, though.

I somewhat knew what to…read moreexpect because I have been to several butterfly farms before, so I was expecting the usual enclosed environment with butterflies flying freely around. However, this conservatory was even prettier than some of the other butterfly attractions I have visited. The environment itself is beautiful and peaceful. There are numerous butterflies flying around, along with lovely greenery, waterfalls, and water features that make the space feel calm and relaxing. It is a very nice attraction for anyone who enjoys nature, photography, or simply wants a peaceful place to explore. One part that really stood out to me was the interactive activity at the end of the experience. Guests are given a coloring sheet with a butterfly, hummingbird, or another design to color. Once finished, the attraction attendant scans the artwork, and then your colored image appears on a screen. I thought that was such a cool and creative feature. It added something extra and memorable to the visit. Overall, the Butterfly Conservatory was a beautiful and enjoyable attraction. The butterflies, scenery, water features, and interactive activity made it a relaxing and fun experience. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This attraction doesn't require an appointment, but it is a longer bus ride from the other Niagara Parks attractions, so be sure to plan for that. We used our passes to take the WEGO bus from Niagara Takes Flight to the butterfly conservatory. Rain was in the forecast, so this is a nice, indoor option. The conservatory itself houses so many butterflies, and they tell you upon entry that it is thought to be lucky if a blue one lands on you, so everyone inside is doing their best to attract a blue butterfly. Several landed on us, and while you don't want to move for fear of them flying away, you also want to get your companion's attention to snap that perfect pic! We had lots of fun even though the temperature is kept very warm and the space was crowded. Clearly, everyone had the same rainy-day activity planned. My only complaint comes from when I asked about re-entry. I was told that we could leave the conservatory, but not the building. We wanted to visit the cafe and grab a bite to eat or something to drink and perhaps return once the crowd had thinned out a bit, but that is not permitted. We were told that we could step out to cool down in the gift shop or lobby area and then return through the same entrance that we used when we arrived. The volunteer got on her walkie to tell someone that we'd be coming back in, so I'm not even sure that this is normally permitted. Overall, it was a fun and new experience for us. The staff was kind and the conservatory is beautiful. There's also a botanical garden and at least one beehive there, but we didn't get to explore the outdoor areas due to the rain.
