My…read morehusband and I first met Chris through a random Zillow search that connected us to Chris as we embarked on a property search for my daughter's first home purchase. We live in Yorktown, and were unfamiliar with realty companies and through that first encounter with Chris on Zillow-were happy to work with him when he reached out and made introduction and agreed to work with us. Chris worked tirelessly with us, and was extremely responsive, no matter what time or day of the week. Oftentimes we would locate potential properties but were unable to cross the HRBT to tour them and Chris by then knew what we were looking for and provided us video tours and insights on properties. Chris was always steady, encouraging and ready to lend professional guidance when we were not familiar with certain areas and amenities at the Beach. The initial process to get prequalified started in August of 2022. By the time Chris came on board and we started the search in earnest-we had already been looking on our own for several months. 10+ months later, and over 150 properties, 11 properties that we bid on and lost, FINALLY on June 18, 2024-Chris helped us to the finish line to close on a property in Pembroke Crossing Condominiums. During a point towards the end of the 10 months, Chris took a well deserved break and went on a European honeymoon with his wife. (We spent so much time with him, we feel like he is now family!)- In his absence, he asked Edwin to fill in for him. Luckily, or unluckily-depending on Edwin's perspective -- we hit a streak where we had a long list of properties to tour and several of them resulted in Edwin working up the contract offers for us. None of them panned out and we felt like it was not going to be in the cards that we would be able to find a property for her that checked all of the boxes and was within her budget. But- just when we thought it was never going to happen, a previous property that we had made an offer on came back on the market. Edwin was right there when we made the new offer, worked up the contract quickly and kept the pedal down the whole way to get the seller a quick sale due to her having a property in Florida contingent on the sale of the Va. Beach property. Edwin was responsive 24/7, friendly, focused and professional in his expert handling of the negotiation and offer paperwork. The best part for us was that Edwin was there when our daughter realized that she was going to get the house---her offer had been accepted --and the look on her face and his is something I hope I never forget. Chris arrived back from his honeymoon in time to handle the final details and be with us at the closing. Buying a home is a stressful undertaking especially in the challenging times we find ourselves in. Maybe that's why my husband and I are in the same home we purchased in 1986!. My daughter's first home buying experience was fraught with uncertainty and disappointment but not because of Chris or Edwin!-They listened to her and guided their search to try and accommodate her preapproved budget and desired areas/criteria. She is super happy and looking forward to moving in soon to her new home. I wanted you to know what superb guys Chris and Edwin are--- top notch, great at what they do- invested in putting in the time and effort to make sure their client is taken care of every step of the way.
