I called this salon because my hotel was just up the street and I was 7 min away. Bless them for having someone willing to stay after hours to style my hair! Bad, bad, bad, BAD haircut with Amanda. I got a total of about 12 inches cut off (wanted about 10 off at the most). I asked for a shoulder length cut, and it's up to my chin. It looks like I have 2 different haircut styles on my head! It's horrible. The back is super choppy, and the sides do not match. At all. One side of my head has "layers," the other does not. There was about a 2-3 inch difference between the sides. I went to someone else to have it fixed almost immediately. The worst part is, it is not even long enough to hide it by putting it in a pony tail! I'm super sad. I won't be back to Saranda Salon. I hope this grows out quickly!

She has been in business in her location for many years, it's a cozy welcoming salon. I'm always offered a cup of coffee & a piece of cake or candy while I wait my turn. We say her shop is like a bus stop, full of men, women & even kids, waiting their turn for a trim, color or perm. She is worth the wait, I highly recommend Linda. Added bonus, she is a super nice lady with a knowledge of current events so time passes fast at her salon. She takes walk in's, but if she has appts ahead of you, you do have to wait so she can serve those customers, but the wait is usually short. I usually call a couple hours before I plan to come by & she accommodates me. Parking can be tricky, there are only a few spots out front of the storefront. But there is street parking or you can park in back.

I would have done same thing. Reason for 1 star is they failed to respond to my instant message from their Facebook page, which where I found out about the closure. My husband had a late night appointment. Had he driven out in severe cold conditions and found store was closed, you would have lost a customer. IF your using SOCIAL MEDIA as form of communication, be courteous and respond to messages in comments or messenger. OR at a minimum, update your store voicemail that you are closed!

My hair was starting to look a little boring, so I decided I was going to book an appointment at a salon to have them liven it up a little. Since I'm used to paying so little to color my hair, I wanted a noticeable change to make me feel like I got my money's worth. I decided to lighten up my hair. Jill was my stylist and she did an awesome job! She didn't make me feel rushed at all, but she worked fast. I've gotten highlights once before, but they looked too light for my dark hair and looked stripey (almost like gray hair). Jill did a great job of blending them all in to make them look natural. Since I did want it so light, she did way more highlights than usual. It got a little pricey. I paid $109 (after a referral discount) with no haircut included, but my hair is pretty long and she had to add about 3 more bowls of bleach than a normal highlighting session. She also used a toner on me. She was very clear with me right off the bat with the pricing though, so there weren't any surprises. I already booked my next appointment to get balayage added. I can't wait! I can't say much about the other services, but I highly recommend Jill for getting color done.
