Took my 3 year old here for his first haircut and the first time was a pretty good experience. My son is autistic and he's a sweet little boy. The second time was a fat lazy lady who just looked at my son like a total piece of crap and wouldn't do anything stating he was a liability issue. I'm quite angry and will not be returning read more

Brought my kiddos here for a haircut. We didnt know there was a waiting list you can be on online so we waited about an hour in person for a haircut. Pretty long of a wait to be honest. Overall, the cuts were good. The price is also really affordable. They were also really great with my kiddos and did their hair exactly how they wanted it. It was nice and clean inside with plenty of chairs if you are waiting to be seen. Would go back again. read more

This guy did a very poor job cutting my hair. Now i have to let the hair grow back so someone else can correct his error. Have been here before and the girl that did it did a good job. But she was not in.. read more

I was actually trying to review the Oregon City location but I don't see it on Yelp ? Anyways... I can make it a 2fer. I check the wait times and go to whichever location can get it done first. I'm happy with both locations. I'm bad with names, but the last 2 ladies that cut my hair were great! Hair turned out well and both were incredibly friendly. read more

I took my nephew here for a haircut a couple months ago. He got a cool fade with a line. We showed our stylist a photo, and he did exactly what we asked for. Took him back today, showed a different stylist the same pic. She refused to do the line. Said they don't do that here. She literally told me she was afraid to try. The other stylist did his hair with product and everything. She just brushed him off and sent him on his way. Seriously unimpressed. I know it's a chain, but a little consistency goes a long way. read more

I checked in online and there wasn't anyone waiting when I came in and the two stylist's were with customers. I had enough time to look to see what way I wanted my hair cut, as I was going from hair length just below my shoulders. I chose a pixie cut and showed the stylist a picture as well as that I wanted to do a shampoo. She said no problem but she'd shampoo after the cut as it would be quicker and wash any hair pieces away. I was totally ok with that, my only issue is that got lost in translation or was forgotten because the editing area filled up? I mean I'm still a customer, I was there first, I checked in online. This was actually a pampering for me today, as I have medical conditions that required me to cut my hair off, so it wasn't like I was excited to be going this as I have been growing it out for a while now. But I get when it's busy busy and you are on the go go go. Things do get forgotten! While everyone was nice and I didn't get my shampoo this time I'm hoping they'll remember the next time and I will speak up more so even if next person has to wait a bit longer. Since moving back from Salem this was the immediate first place I thought of going as we used to go here 3 years prior. It is a brand new bunch from that last time I came in, but hey they recognize their regular customers and it's golden in my book! Customers love this and I do too! read more

Good haircuts, a fair queue system and they're always really nice to my kids! We tried other places in town but are usually disappointed and come back here. read more

Great Clips - Haircut - Hair Salons Near Me - West Linn, Oregon

I have lived in Oregon for the last 10 years. I have gotten a lot of hair cuts from a lot of Great Clips. I currently drive 40 minutes just to get to this one because it's the best. The staff is friendly and attentive and consistently listens to what I want. If you want a decent cut at a good price, this is the spot. read more

Just left this place. Reason I'm giving it a 2 start is because... I find it rude and it puts customers in a weird situation. when you go in to take your kids to get a haircut and the stylist demans a tip in Spanish. That's just not right. A tip is a gift not mandatory!! We had 2 kids get a haircut. One of our kids is a hit and miss, and it was a miss this time. He did not sit still even with me sitting there with him, so she did what she could, and still got charged the full 15.00 per kid. (Which is understandable) My toddler left the shop the way he came in.. Demanding a tip in Spanish, so the other employees would not over hear is Very unprofessional. It definitely cought my husband off guard and just didnt know what to say so he just handed whatever he had. My husband and I are very upset about this. We have never experienced this, at this place. I wish we would of got her name. All I know is that she speaks Spanish and wears glasses. I will not be going back to her. read more

Front desk staff is rude and completely untrained. Online booking system doesn't work properly. Strongly recommend they increase wages so they can get competent employees. Never again. read more

SUPER friendly stylists! Stopped in Saturday but only 1stylist working and a long wait time. Returned the next day and used online check in. Very convenient. Stylist from Saturday remembered me and thanked me for coming back. I'm very happy with my cut from Michelle!!! read more

They always do a great job with our kids! Working with kids can be tough, and my boys like to ask a lot of questions and they're always very patient. It's the only place we come for haircuts. read more

Very pleasant when we walked in with smiles. i have a 3 yr old and they were very accommodating

They hours they have posted says 8pm. I arrived 10 min before to find the door locked and the register already counted down. Manager was rude and obviously caught closing early. He told me to come back tomorrow. Not. 2 hairdresser standing there doing nothing and wants me to go oit of my way to come back. No thank you read more

I've been going to this a great Clips for 6 years. My favorite currently is Natalie but honestly they are all great. I have pretty easy short hair but with the virus I haven't had a haircut in 5 months and my hair isn't a hot mess only the color. read more

Alissa was completely wonderful. She greeted me as soon as I walked in, and there wasn't a wait. I was a bit hesitant, because I don't normally go to haircut places but rather salons due to a terrible experience I had in high school with badly uneven hair. But I needed a trim, and I had not had my hair trimmed in months. It was long overdue. Alissa made friendly conversation while working. She took her time to do great work, and I was completely satisfied with my hair when she was done! read more

My wife completed chemotherapy for breast cancer a few months ago and received her first haircut today from Marissa. Marissa and the owner were so kind and understanding of the emotional issues involved with the hair regrowth. Marissa trimmed her hair and gave her advice on when to color it. My wife was in tears when she returned to our car. They would not accept any money for the haircut. This business supports women with breast cancer and we are submitting this to acknowledge that to the local community. read more

My experiences with great clips have been varied, sometimes it has been crap but today I decided to come to the one in West Linn due to them having no wait while my local one in Wilsonville had over an hour. Got a guy named Nico and at first was skeptical because he was unable to find my name on the computer, but after a minute or too we were able to find it through a search. Best haircut I've ever had, asked a few times what I wanted in different areas and took his time to only cut a bit at a time as to not cut off too much. Took his time and is easily the best haircut experience I've ever had hands down. read more

Convenient location, unbeatable prices and nice clean salon. Natalie is a skilled stylist and has a charming personality. She does a great job with my hair which is both very thick and grows in strange directions. I'm lucky to find her after suffering some expensive yet atrocious hack jobs south of the 205 fwy. The place is first come first served and they push their online check in. Honestly can't see what difference the online check in makes as I've never had to wait more than 10 mins. If you aren't picky about who you see ( I'm particular because my hair is tricky) then the wait is even shorter. One nice feature is that the details of your cut are in their system, so whoever takes care of you knows your preferences. read more

Just went here for the first time -- not knowing what to expect, given I usually shy away from chain hair salons due to some serious hack jobs I've experienced in the past -- and lo and behold I got a superior haircut and beard trim with far friendlier service at nearly half the cost of the independent salons I normally go to for a haircut. No, this isn't a hack joint where everyone comes out with the same haircut/hairstyle. Instead, these are super cool, highly skilled stylists who come across as really enjoying what they do -- and they do it well. I'm a new regular. read more
