Very easy with online check-in and the stylist are always kind and listen to your needs, never a disappointing cut.

They do an okay cut, but don't count on them styling it even if you're willing to pay for it. We made an appointment on -line, but was told when I arrived that they don't have time to style it. I've never heard of this before. Hopefully they'll improve the service they offer. read more

Before I begin, YES! I read all 6 reviews going back 6 years and yes they all show terrible results but 2 things, 1) Don't leave until it's resolved. Communication is all it takes. 2) My hair just can't be messed up. This passive aggressive attitude some people have is ridiculous. Kathy did a great job! I'm not from here I live in Las Vegas only reason I stoped here was because my kids needed a really bad hair cut. We wouldn't make it back in time to see our barber. You get what you pay for my kids hair were hella botched I should've just waited till I got back home. Hopefully their hair will grow back super fast. I could've done a better job but I didn't have my clippers. Only reason i'm giving them 1 star is because the people were polite but they really need to practice more even our great clips back home isn't this bad. I been a client for a w and today was by far the worst!! this place isn't good anymore !! I register online and it was 16 minutes waiting I drove to the place it took me 5 minutes and I was #4 so I was waiting and waiting and I noticed that people that just walked in they were already been getting their hair cut and me noting!! I was there for like 45 minutes and they just keep skipping me!!! so I just got up and asked them to remove my name and they got upset!!' because I was leaving the place so in total I waited like an hour so do not go to this place it became a joke!!! read more

We checked in online and was told about a 47 minute wait. We arrived and were told it would be a 209 minute wait. We decided to wait. Finally names were being called, very fast with no last names, so I did not realize we had been called. A few mintues later the Male stylist asked me my name and I told him. In a rude voice he said we already called your name, to which I replyed, you did not use my full name and so how as I to know we were being called. (While those names were called, the stylists seems releived that several people did not respond). He told me I would have another 20 mintue wait, which I started, but when new people walked in and were called sooner than I was I left. I felt that the stylists were rude, and I hopefully will not attempt another appointment. I guess we should have read the recent reveiws. In the past we have had hair cuts there and not the rudeness. If I could I would leave no stars or negative stars. read more

I went in to get my boys hair cuts before family pictures a few months ago. I am leaving a review now because I am still irritated about how bad their haircuts were! The haircut for my youngest, the girl cutting his hair didn't ask what side he parts his hair on, and did a cut on the opposite side. I couldn't convince my son to part his hair on this side for the sake of making his hair look good in the pictures. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until we got home and he washed his hair and brushed it the way he likes it. I was also distracted by my other son's hair. The girl who cut his hair had the cut above one ear WAY to high and the other side was fine, but together-uneven. Then the back was not a straight cut (wavy hairline) at the nape of his neck. I sent her back to fix it, but she still couldn't get it right. I didn't have any time left for her to fix it, so we ended up doing damage control at home. As a repeat customer of Great Clips I'd have to say I'm extremely disappointed in my last visit. I asked for a short short A-Line style cut for my 9 yr old. Shaved under and the last layer cut to her earlobe. I was told "this isn't possible" I was puzzled and replied with, Okay, I just need it short she hates to brush her hair. I went to sit and wait. I searched websites of the hair style my daughter wanted and saved multiple examples. The lady finished, upon inspection I was speechless. The lady gave my daughter a "Bob" cut, shoulder length. At this point I said no, and began showing her the examples on my phone. She replied "that's not an A-Line, that's a short layered cut" I said, okay I don't know haircuts, that's why we are here, whatever it's called this is what I would like, I've never had an issue before this, every time I've came in here the girls get it spot on. This lady did not say a word. I go back to my seat and mention to my SO, next time we are here we are NOT to use that lady. A customer overheard and said, "oh, that's the manager". I have no words. After all was done. I didn't argue, I didn't say a word I just paid for the $11 child cut and a $5 tip. Because of this managers lack of personal customer service quality and the fact that she did NOT even remotely cut my daughters hair close to what I asked, great clips has lost our business. My son went for a haircut. He wanted a 1 on the side and blended to the top with a hard part. He came out looking like Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber. It looks like they literally put a bowl on his head a trimmed around it. Google an image of Lloyd Christmas and you'll see this ridiculous haircut. read more

The Great Clips in Caldwell, Idaho (across from Wal-Mart) was extremely disappointing. I wasted 45 minutes of waiting, thinking I was next and then was completely ignored by both employees (one on her phone the other playing with things on her booth. I was told very clearly and directly I was next in line behind a gentleman who had checked in online. When I stepped inside (immediately after the person in front of me left, I actually held the door for him). The young lady informed me that someone else had checked in online and i would need to wait....Really irritated me but I bit my tongue since I needed a hair cut and had previously really enjoyed my experiences at Great Clips. But then to be truly completely ignored by 2 employees, I mean not even so much as "be right with you", give me second, OK". By the way BOTH of these same two employees had plenty of time to "flirt" with the young man who i was bumped for. "Oh gosh you have such cute wavy hair", "I hope you have a great day" Got bad news for ya, I was there for a hair cut, and I am pretty sure I influence many many more people than that young man........ read more

I have been a customer of The Twin Falls Great Clips for several years, I went in today, June 22, 2020...and was treated like a 2nd class person.... it says very clearly when you read the ad for Great Clips that no appointment is necessary... When you call the store and listen to their recorded phone message it says very clearly no appointment is necessary... so I went in today to get a haircut and when I got to the Great Clips here in Twin Falls there was only one person sitting outside in his chair so I thought I would be able to get in and get my haircut rather quickly when I went inside and stepped up to the cash register I stood there for a good 5 minutes or more before somebody finally came to help me because they were all standing around talking and not doing anything... the first thing the lady asked me was if I had made an online appointment and I said no I hadn't and I was informed that it would be at least 45 minutes before I could get my haircut... I informed her that I wasn't going to wait that long for a haircut... She said well you should have checked in online with our app.. I was on my way out the door and I turned around and I said this is absolutely ridiculous... after I left the store and was gone for a few minutes I decided that I wanted to talk to a manager so I called the store I asked for the manager and the lady who answered the phone said this is the manager I informed her what had just happened and then I wanted to complain and she said that I would have to leave my name and number and the real manager of the store would call me to which I replied oh you're not the manager after all and she said no I am the assistant manager... I very seldom lose my temper I am a very mild-mannered person but the way I was treated really pissed me off... I proceeded to tell the assistant manager that I was a real person that I was standing at her register with cash in my pocket ready to get a haircut and I was told that I would have to wait on people who had made appointments online who hadn't even showed up yet for their haircut... Now excuse me but if you set up a Time online to get your haircut isn't that making an appointment... when Great Clips advertises that you don't need an appointment to get your haircut... isn't checking in online the same as making an appointment you tell them what time you're going to be there for a haircut and they expect you to show up...TO ME THAT IS AN APPOINTMENT... I would think that a paying customer standing in the store with money in their pocket ready to get a haircut would take precedence over somebody who made an online appointment... Because you really don't know if that person is actually going to show up or not but the person who is actually standing there wanting a haircut is standing there and ready to pay for a haircut.... I was treated very rudely by whoever tried to assist me at the cash register they informed me that I should make an online appointment before I showed up to get a haircut... I think the Great Clips needs to change their policies either you need an appointment or you don't you cannot advertise no appointments necessary and then tell people when they walk in the door that they have to make an online appointment using the Great Clips app .. Nobody is going to stand around and wait 45 minutes to get a haircut... It really makes you feel like a second-rate person when they tell you that you have to wait because somebody already scheduled something online and that imaginary person who's not even in the store yet has to take precedence over a real life person ready to pay for a haircut So now I am waiting to see if the real manager of the Great Clips hair in Twin Falls Idaho is actually going to call me back or not... I'm willing to bet that I don't hear anything from anybody... And I really at this point in time cannot recommend this place is a good place to go to get your haircut anymore they seem to take great pride in making people wait unless you have made the previous online appointment with their app.... So which is it Great Clips do you need to make an appointment with the app or can you just walk in as a person off the street and expect to get your haircut because I got treated like a piece of crap today because I didn't have an appointment... I was standing there at your register with money in my pocket ready to get my haircut and ready to give whoever cut my hair a nice tip... You didn't get my business and the person cutting my hair did not get a tip... And I know right now times are tough because everything has been shut down due to the covid-19 buffoonery so I'm sure somebody would have liked to have gotten a nice tip from me for cutting my hair and instead nobody got anything.... I had the worst haircut of my life this past Saturday 7/13/19. I asked for the 'stylist' to give me a blunt cut, evening out the A-line I had. There were parts in the back that hung down over an inch past the rest of the hair. It was absolutely HORRIBLE. I do not recommend Great Clips and will never go back. read more
