I needed my hair cut from long to medium! I did not want to spend to much on a hair cut and decided to check the reviews on some great clips location. I read the reviews for this location and called to see if Erika was there ( Erika was mention on few reviews below so I only wanted to cut my hair if she was there). I called and I spoke with a lady there and they told me that she had the day off, but they are all good and they been there for a long time, so I decided to give them a chance. I went there and I spoke with Claudia. I have shown her a photo on how I want my hair cut and she did an amazing job!!! I would recommend Claudia to anyone who needs a good hair cut. I have paid for her to style my hair and I was happy! Good job Claudia! I'll be back if you are still around! read more

Shannon, one of the assistants was extremely rude and inconsiderate. After years of support I will no longer be coming to this location. Unfortunate because there are some really great stylists here who deserve loyal patrons. read more

That don't know how to give a men haircut husband ask for military cut still lines where they mess up

Fast and great clips....................... always check in on line before you go, pretty long wait if you just walk in

This is the best Great Clips in the area, great stylists, especially Belle, great price and they always have coupons. I have had more expensive cuts that aren't as good. Not a bad wait either, especially if you check in online read more

You are in and out fairly quick. There seems to be new people cutting hair everytime I get my haircut here. Very inexpensive, I had a coupon for a $8.99 haircut. For that price it's hard to beat. read more

I told her, don't cut anything off the top. First thing she does is cut the top. Welllll you get what you pay for. This the last time I go cheap on a hair cut.... Would not recommend. Plus she was crabby as hell. read more

Stupid staff. I came in with my dad who needed a hair cut and I only planned on getting one if we could go at about the same time because we have other errands to run. I ask the lady after my dad puts his name down "if I got a haircut now would it be about the same time as his?" and she said no. I look at the two guys getting their hair cut and they were both almost done. My dad sits in a chair after the first guy is done and 1 min minute later the other guy is done. So I ask the receptionist if she could get me in next since if I had known I would have to wait 1 minute I would've gotten a haircut and she says no because there's a line now. Just plain stupidity and shitty customer service. I'll never go here. Rude people. read more

It's a good thing I don't base things on first impressions. If that was the case, we would've walked right out of here. With a couple people ahead of us, we decided to wait. I didn't notice right away that the staff was younger than what I'm accustomed to. By no means is this a criticism. In my opinion, they're more up to date on the latest trends. Because of this, I'm even happier we stayed. I knew I wasn't going in for a regular trim. Today was the day for change. I left the fate of my new do to Vanessa. She did an amazing job of transforming my lengthy weight of hair into something manageable: mid length, tapered and layered. My neck and shoulders hurt less. I feel 5 lbs lighter and an inch taller. Not only is she a good stylist, she's a good conversationalist. I'm a satisfied new client of hers! As for my boyfriend, he too will be back and Sports Clips across the street lost a client. read more

Erika was great! I butchered my hair and she did an amazing cut and quick! Great service being a walk in. Didn't have to wait long and she was great! read more

Ok I know that Great Clips is a bargain but the fact my husband's hairdresser let him walk out with a bald spot & not have the courtesy to tell him is appalling. I definitely will not be letting him return to have his haircut by her. read more

This is the third time I have been here, and I will definitely be back!! Very nice people here, and very helpful. I hadn't had my hair cut for a little too long, and it was a little long, and unruly, and my bangs were too long. I called a little before they closed, and Erica said if I came in by 9 she could do it. I was VERY HAPPY!! She did a great job, cutting just the right amount, layering my hair, trimming my bangs, and the hair covering my ears-I told her I like that shorter, so everyone can see my earrings. PERFECT! I don't remember who cut my hair before, yet she did a great job also. I also was happy to see that they have some specials until after Christmas--a "Great Card" with multiples of $9.99 for more haircuts at reduced rates! I got one with 3 cuts, for $29.97. They were also impressed and liked that my name is Julia Roberts, which it is, yet I use Julie. :-D read more

This was a horrible experience it was all fine tell I sat down I ask specifically to make sure that my hair was longer than my shoulders but it ended up being super short like a Bob I went home and cried because of how bad it looked and now there's no way to fix it until it grows back read more

I'm usually in and out from this location in about 15 min. I've had about 5-6 different stylists cut my hair at this location and have never been disappointed. Staffs are always sincere, welcoming and professional, which is why I choose to go back to this particular Great Clips location. Kenny was my last stylist and he did a great job! read more

Erika does an awesome job! So relieved to have found her! I am new to the area so I was very worried I wouldn't find a good place to get my short hair cut done right! :-) read more

Vanessa did a great haircut. Just the way I like. And I used their online check in app.

Great exp. Ya....123. Nice customer care

Always good service and they cut my hair just the way I like it. Love the online check in!

I was a regular customer here but after last week's experience, I'm going to explore other places. This was last Friday and I just went for a regular haircut. There were 2 hair stylists already serving customers. I don't remember the name of this particular stylist but my experience with her was pretty bad. She is not super talkative but that is fine. As long as you, you do your job well, I don't care for chit chat. I made a request to cut the hair slightly short (after she was done) and she got super annoyed. It was pretty obvious!! Here is the best part. She did a shoddy job after that. One side of my head just stood out and I asked her to fix it. She said I have a colic. I said "OK, can you do something about it". Again, it felt like I asked her to do something that was totally not feasible. Then, she got some special scissors and fixed the colic. Talk about customer experience. I usually don't give a bad review but in this case, I'm going out of my way to do this. read more

I went for hair cut today. The lady cut my hair and she did not wet my hair properly. my hair was curly from bottom so I could not see if she cut properly or not. When I came home and check hair, it wasn't strait and some hair are longer than others. I thought I got good hair cut but when I checked at home, I am really disappoint with the result. read more

I know it really depends on which stylist you get & they are all different, but employees can still be taught to service the customer & attend to their needs. I had a bad experience, mostly because the girl who cut my hair did NOT listen to what I asked. I simply wanted a trim, no layers, all one length, easy, right? Apparently not. She put long layers in my hair that I noticed after I left. I also was explaining to her how another employee from another Great Clips location did this technique on my hair to get rid of split ends that are not just at the bottom of my hair. I explained how she twisted my hair & cut the ends that stuck out. She attempted to do this, but I could tell she was not familiar with this technique and only spent a few minutes cutting the split ends this way. The other lady from the other location was the one who suggested cutting my hair that way & spent a much greater amount of time to really make sure all my split ends were cut. After I paid and left and noticed the layers, I was pretty upset, because my hair grows slow & I've been trying to grow it out long for a very long time. Now noticing these shorter layers, it would take me even more time to grow it back out all the same length. I called & voiced my complaint. A lady told me to come in when the manager would be there. I had to wait about a week because I don't live close to this location & the next time I would be out this way when the manager was there was not for another week from when I went. The woman was nice & refunded my money, but didn't seem empathetic about the inconvenience like I thought she would be. I sort of wish she would have assured me that she would speak to the employee who didn't honor my request because any stylist who doesn't listen to what you want is no good & should be taught proper customer service. Anyway, considering their haircuts are dirt cheap, I can't expect too much. I have since then returned to the other location where the other woman cut my hair (Great Clips on Roselle Rd in Schaumburg.) Her name is Gina and she's awesome! Very friendly, educated and listens to what you want! I suggest really watching what your stylist does when they're working on your hair to make sure they're cutting it the way you want. Also, look out for coupons. They're everywhere & Great Clips will even take expired ones! read more
