Angela did an amazing job! I showed her a few pictures and she understood the assignment and went above and beyond my expectation! She gained a new client! She's also very personable and detailed in her work! read more

The Duval Mine Road location in Green Valley, AZ, is just minutes from my home. Always convenient with online sign-in, friendly stylists who offer recommendations and advice, and reasonable prices make it my go-to place to keep my hair looking its best. read more

DO NOT choose Julie at Great Clips near Safeway. This person is a very poor stylist (if you can call her that)! She used scissors that weren't sharpened and pulled my hair. She won't listen to you when you ask her for an overall 1 inch trim. Consequently, she butchered my hair! read more

Eleanor is friendly, professional and does a great job. The only issue I have is the wait time not always being accurate from when you check in. read more

Great Clips at Rancho Sahuarita has provided me with years of great haircuts. Today, I had a new stylist, Lucy. She was delightful and did a great job. She let me know they open at 8am and the early hours are slow. That's very helpful information for those who don't like to wait. It's a great place for a haircut! read more

I checked in on line and arrive with 13 minutes wait but got called even sooner. My haircut was fast and great! Will return!

I have been going to this salon for several years now and am always delighted when Marie Sol cuts my hair. Today, however, she was extra busy and I opted to try another stylist named Kim. While kind and considerate, Kim cut my very short hair well enough but when she asked if she could trim my eyebrows, I said sure since I have a wild hair here and there. Imagine my horror when I got home, took of my glasses and saw that I only had half an eyebrow over each eye. I was mortified. She went crazy with the clippers and shaved half of each eyebrow off. My eyebrow hair was light to begin with but now it no longer exists and I am livid. She should be reprimanded by Management. read more

Came here tonight with my boyfriend to get his haircut. He had checked in online at 5pm and the website said there was a wait time of an hour so we went to run other errands and arrived at the salon at 6pm. Upon walking in we noticed that his name was pretty far down on the waiting list. We let one of the hair stylists know that we had arrived and sat in the waiting area. My boyfriend did not get called for his haircut until 7:15pm. The haircut he received was great and the hair stylist was very nice. However, I do not understand why we had to wait over another hour. If the website had said there was going to be a 2 hour wait, we could have planned accordingly. I strongly urge Great Clips to fix their waiting time estimator to avoid this from happening again in the future. read more

I've been going there for haircuts & beard trims for several yrs. Service is professional & prices are reasonable & this location is only a few minutes from my house. I strongly suggest checking in online to avoid long waits. A special shout out to Marilyn, who is the best stylist working there! read more

My husband's mom has done his hair all of his life (she's a cosmetologist) & we recently moved to AZ so he had to find someone new. The person he went to last was booked and he needed a trim in a pinch. We went there and they took care of him right away. He is very pleased with the way she did it. We'd definitely recommend! read more

First time at this salon. Marilyn was my stylist. She did a very nice job on my cut and was very friendly. A few things that would be improved is overall professionalism. The stylists were talking about how dull their sheers were and discussed a a customer after he left. Not in a bad way at all but I felt it was not appropriate. It made me wonder if my cut was going to turn out ok with dull sheers. I also had to ask her to put on the paper neck guard so I didn't get hair in my cloths. They also need to have all the proper tools. My stylist borrowed my hair clip which i was fine with but they should have the right tools to do their work. Overall my mother in law and I liked our cuts but the overall experience could improve. read more

Rude! Had to leave my son and wait outside, and he's too young to be able to explain the haircut. Made an appointment and STILL waited 20 min more to be seen. read more

Just had the most horrible experience at this location with Marisol. I have been a long time customer here, not only getting haircuts for myself, but also for my children; after today I will never come back! I bought my mom in for a haircut, while we were checking in, Marisol accused me of taking a comb, I had turned the container around to see what type of combs they were because I have been looking for a good comb for my son's curly hair, I didn't pick up a comb, much less take one. When she wrongly accused me, I offered to let her search my purse and pockets which of course she didn't. I was extremely embarrassed by her accusations. And will never step foot in this location again. Her actions lost your business long time customers. read more

I can not say enough good things about Great Clips and the service I have received at this location. Jody has always given me the best cuts, trims and perms I've ever had. She always carries the coolest products and best prices. I trust her 100%. She and her lovely team of stylists make this location fun and friendly. I always feel welcomed, and have a blast while I'm there. My husband is a loyal patron as well. His hair cuts are always great, and the products he buys at Great Clips always give him the best results. Thank you Jody for all the wonderful years of service, friendship and amazing hair! read more

I'd been going to another location for a while and they're booked too far out and couldn't get an appointment. Decided to try this location since I've taken my son there a couple of times. I was in and out within 15 minutes with Doreen. There were a couple of red flags where my hair wasn't parted straight down the middle. Then she didn't separate my hair in sections to cut it. She just grabbed sections and cut those sections as she went though my hair. She didn't check for even layers like they do at the end of a haircut to ensure the layers are even. I had to ask her to frame my front layers and she just cut them without seeing if both sides matched. My hair was completely wet so when I saw it at the location it looked fine. Once I saw my hair dry the next day it was a nightmare. Both sides were definitely not even. One side was layered and the other one...it was cut in chunks where there's was 3" in between the next section of hair. She definitely rushed me in and out and she didn't even tell me her name (she probably knew she had done a horrible job). When I've taken my son the ladies make an effort of introducing themselves and telling me their name after so I can come back to them and they'll tell me they made notes on how they cut the hair in case I come back they know what they did the previous time. I had to look up her name on the receipt. I should have read the reviews and stuck to the ladies that have the good reviews. Doreen (the one with the red hair) left my hair choppy and uneven so try to avoid having her do anything on your hair if you do go to this location. read more

Never again. I went in tonight, on a nondescript Tuesday night, and checked in online like they prefer. I was number 6 when I got in there and sat tight. I sat and I waited, and waited, and waited. An hour later, I finally made it to number one. Well, wouldn't you know, a stylist came up and called out...the number 2 person. Okay, I thought. Maybe she knows her? A minute later, the next stylist comes up and calls out the THIRD person. I just got up and left. I went here because my husband and son are regulars but never again will anyone from my family waste a minute or a dime on them again. Poorly done, Great Clip staff. Poorly done. read more

Make sure you check in in online. The online check in said 35 minutes and I still waited another 15 after the initial time. Some of the ppl there don't know how to cut hair and there is a tremendous high turnover. read more

My go to place for my haircut. I like it high and tight and they keep the recipe on file so they don't even need to ask...love that. I also love the online check in....makes it so much easier. It is not uncommon for the wait to be over an hour here, so if you use online check in you can save yourself a ton of wait time. read more

Being the only spot in town, it's a great overall experience and quality cut. Yes I've gone and had bad experiences here, but you have to find a stylist which best suits you. I always go to the same stylist and I always make sure to check-in online to minimize the wait time. Everyone's pretty friendly here and every so often they'll have $7.99 specials! read more

I needed a basic cut. She did a good job. I've gone a few times. I wish they did color tho. My son goes regularly and he's always satisfied with his cut. read more

I've been coming here to get my haircut for about 2 years now. The staff is very friendly and usually don't have to wait no more then 15 minutes. This is because I get there when they just have opened up. The way they do haircuts is excellent too. The other day I went in to get my haircut and this was just before they opened their doors and I could not believe that they had people waiting outside the doors to go in. Most of them were retired 70+ years of age. I wasn't in the mood to wait with those people outside until they opened their doors, so I just turned around and did other errands in the area and I didn't go back that day. I think they were running a special from their coupons that they send in flyers in the mail. Maybe that's why they had so many people waiting outside their door.? With that in mind, I don't think I will go back there for awhile(until May when all the snowbirds leave?) They say you can check-in on-line but how does that work anyway? Do check-ins get in before walk-ins. Also, what about people who are waiting outside the doors before they open for business.? How do they take people to be first, second, and so on.?? read more

I have been going here for years. My usual stylist has disappeared. I asked the new stylist for a trim no more than 1/4 inch and leave me the tail in the back. I might as well have been speaking chinese. My wedge cut is now a layer cut. It will take at least a year to undo this disaster. read more

You need to check in online because if you are like me and just "walk in" then you will wait for a long time. I did not wait because as i sat and watched my name keep going down the withing list as people showed up i didn't understand why does the door say "walk ins welcome" if the "walk ins" have to wait the longest even do theirs nobody in the waiting area? and everybody else who made and appointment goes first but they don't really tell you we have a lot of appointments today so it might be sometime before you get a hair cut. read more

Hands down the best barber/salon in Rancho Sahuarita. Their prices can't be beat and the stylists actually listen to your requests as well as offer feed back. Great Clips also has sales on hair cutting services every so often for $8.00!! They have a very capable staff but I always go to Liz for the best hair cut in town. read more
